Amara immediately thrust the glass at Miranda. But because Miranda was too focused on the phone, the girl did not realize that the glass full of water was right in front of her. Without looking, Miranda who intended to receive the glass instead brushed it off.
Of course the swaying glass was spilling the contents inside. Even the water poured right on Miranda's clothes and made the proud girl's clothes wet instantly.
Amara was stunned with perfectly rounded eyes. He realized he had made a mistake even though unintentionally. The horrible shadow of the torture on him immediately perched on his head, until he thought of quickly apologizing before it actually happened to him.
"Sorry Mira" Amara said stammeringly as she placed the glass on the table. "I did it accidentally" he continued. The white girl hurriedly picked up a tissue and swept it over Miranda's wet clothes.
As Amara had expected, Miranda completely vented her anger by hurting Amara. The girl with the chubby cheek rose and grabbed Amara's hair firmly, making Amara's head look up as a result of her pull.
Amara screamed and grimaced due to pain in her scalp due to the craving of the cousin. But Amara did not dare to fight because he was helpless to face the daughter of the uncle who had sincerely accommodated and cared for her.
Unable to voice feelings, Amara simply vented the pain with a circle of melted tears and soaked her cheeks. The girl sobbed in silence without daring to fight back.
"The orphan's base doesn't know itself! Just die you guys! Take your Mom and Dad to heaven!" miranda snapped loudly and almost made Juan who watched in hiding jump to beat him. But unfortunately, because he was still plagued with curiosity, Juan tried hard to resist.
"You're really disgusting, Amara," Miranda continued. "Life is just a ride, but exorbitant style is like a millionaire. Do you know you're just troubling people! Do you realize that this despicable you has become the burden of our family's life!" Miranda cursed with anger. In fact it further strengthens its pull on Amara's hair.
"Even Mira, take off my hair ...." Amara groans while trying to pull her hair.
"Shut up! Or you want me to cut your hair short! Let people think you're a man!" Miranda instantly snapped out as she imagined something laughable in her head. "Oh, or if you have to, I'm just gonna take care of this brainless head of yours!"
"Don't Mira, geez ," Amara shook her head quickly pleading with the utmost. Her cry grew sobbing when she imagined that Miranda would actually do what she said. Hair is the crown of a woman, and what happens if that beautiful crown disappears from her head.
Unreleased, Amara took the initiative to pull her long hair as hard as she could. Unintentionally, his long nails clawed at Miranda's arms causing scratches. The girl screeched sternly until Miranda let go of her grip.
"Owh, my hands!" Miranda screamed hysterically while rubbing the arm that imprinted Amara's scratch. The girl whimpered. Even crying due to the pain of his wound.
"Basic child does not know himself! Damn bearer!" maki Miranda while lifting her punch to Amara's body until she was tired.
But again Amara was just silent and resigned to be months of anger Miranda. I don't know what his sin was until the cousin hated him so much. Is it because not having parents makes it considered a burden and a cause for trouble? But isn't being an orphan not an option? If only I could choose and ask, of course Amara did not want to lose her parents so soon.
"You took everything from me! Love my parents! My buddies! Even gebetanku!" miranda continued to vanish all her heart, as if the mockery and insult had not satisfied her heart enough. "And now you dare hurt me!" Miranda's tears poured unstoppable.
Amara who was originally down while reluctantly ventured to raise her gaze. Miranda looked at him with an unaccepting expression. "But it's all coming back to you, isn't it! I don't even have any friends at school, Mira."
"Lied!"
"No!"
"I know you've been in contact with Juan all along!"
"But I'm not the one who approached him!" amara shouted to convince. Amara looked at Miranda who was still furious as she wiped her tears. He inched closer to his cousin before holding his hand as if pleading. "Mir, trust me. I've tried to stay away from Juan in various ways. I've done everything you've said, including worsening my image at school. You even see for yourself what my replay is bad for now."
"Do you think I'm satisfied, huh?!" snapped Miranda while pushing Amara's body to the back. "At any time I won't be satisfied as long as you're in this house. Look it!" Miranda showed her hand that was wearing a red scratch.
At once Amara gasped, as if she had read her cousin's mind.
Miranda smiled triumphantly and then got up from her seat. "Will I ask my parents! Let you get kicked out and live a homeless life on the side of the road!" threaten him then, then move his feet towards the door about to get out.
But his steps stopped when he saw Juan standing in the doorway and looking at him with sharp eyes.
Miranda's body was riveted with perfectly rounded eyes. His lips trembled and looked at Juan full of fear. "S-Since when are you here?" ask her with a loud voice. He really did not expect if juan was there and watched everything.
Already stifled, the girl returned Juan's gaze no less cynical. And then just left that place.
Juan immediately stepped closer to Amara who was already in a standing position.
"You hurt?" juan asked worriedly as he watched Amara's body closely.
"I'm fine." replied Amara with a smile, as if reassuring if he was okay. "When did you come?" tanyanya.
"Since then" replied Juan briefly.
Amara bowed lethargic. All the effort he had so desperately done was now in vain. Juan must have known the secret.
"Why did you do that, Mara?!" Urged Juan while gripping Amara's shoulder made the girl stare at him. "You can fool others. Even everyone in this world, but not me!
"What are you talking about, Juan, I don't understand!" kelit Amara brushed off Juan's hand.
"You followed Miranda's will and you ruined your own image!"
"I'm the one who wants to do it myself! You don't have to interfere!" amara's objection was firm. "Now you better go home! It's my business, and it's none of yours!" the strong rejection that Amara showed made Juan unable to do anything.
That stubborn girl really doesn't need anyone's help to solve her problems.
Juan can only protect Amara when the girl is next to him. Juan couldn't get any further into his personal life.
But as time goes on, Amara's life looks better. He returned to his original self. Smart, kind, cheerful and very caring about the surrounding environment. He even managed to enter nursing school with student duties. So that he no longer needs to burden his uncle and aunt.
"If it's not enough just to be sorry, then what do you want?" amara's question dissolved Juan's daydream. "Why even dumb? You're daydreaming, aren't you?" guess Amara squinted her eyes.
"No!" objecting to Juan quickly, his hand then fed the meatballs to his mouth.
"You must be thinking about your girlfriend" Amara guessed. The veiled girl then raised her head like she was staring. "If only a man were thinking of me, too" he murmured softly and then shrugged his chin like he was having a hand.
Juan smiled then moved his hand to scoop Amara's face. "Don't fantasize about the no-no."
Amara threw a glance at Juan while irritating him. "Ish, I think of the yes, really," she protested while fixing the top of the hijab that had been messed up by Juan.
"Juan, you know what?"
"No."
"I'm not done talking!" amara protested. He thaws, then smiles. "Today I got a patient in a man's accident. He's in a coma now. But strangely, he held my hand so tightly that it was hard to let go. You know how I made him let me go?"
"How's it?" Juan finally asked even in an indifferent tone.
"Kissed it."
"What!"
