The atmosphere of a five-star hotel looked very crowded that night. Many people came in with their best looks. However, being too preoccupied with her thoughts, Amara even forgot to read who the owner of the event was from the congratulatory wreath lined up neatly in front.
While walking, Dimas smilingly looked at Amara who seemed stunned by the beauty of the party venue. The girl did not utter a word at all, only her eyes were busy wandering everywhere.
Upon entering the hotel's ballroom, Amara suddenly stopped her steps and pulled Dimas' arm walking by her side to come to a stop.
"What the hell is Mar narik-narik?" sulcan Dimas did not understand.
Not immediately answering, Amara's eyes turned to the surrounding area, then pulled Dimas's arm until the man half bent down to make it easier for him to whisper.
"What's a wedding, isn't it? How come there's no security?"
Hearing that Dimas suddenly looked at Amara in surprise then clucked.
"Jeez, Amara ...!" Dimas gritted his teeth. "There is a big writing that is still not readable!" He shook his head inexhaustibly and was so furious.
"Hehehe, no. Aow!" Amara complained when Dimas' hand suddenly clenched his forehead. Clearly he was in pain and then immediately rubbed the part that felt pain.
"Mas Dimas is sick ...!" lamented annoyance.
"Bodos! "
Amara throttled, then lowered her head without a word. In silence he realized if his ignorance is because of his own fault. But blame him if he asks? Not wrong indeed. The fault was Dimas who was the place to ask.
Sighing deeply, Dimas again neutralized the feeling. Trying to quell the upset and anxiety in his nurse. He decided to forget about this in order not to ruin the situation. After all, they were currently at the party venue. He had to hold back so as not to cause things.
"Well, you know who has whose show." Not caring for Amara's expression, Dimas grabbed the girl's wrist and held her to enter.
Amara just followed Dimas. His eyes looked at their interlocking hands, then turned to look at Dimas with an astonished expression.
I don't know what was on that guy's mind. During her time as a nurse, Dimas often showed a changing attitude. Countless times how many times the man was rude. Like a heartless human being, he does not even seem to show a trace of regret after hurting his heart through speech. And when the cheerful began to surround his heart, it was precisely the ignorant attitude that he showed.
However, apart from the unspeakable pain that made him behave in this manner, Dimas was also smart to surprise unexpectedly with his gentle demeanor. The man was so shrewd as to create chaos in his heart.
Of all the behavior that Dimas had, one thing was ultimately inherent in true Amara. The man actually had a noble heart. It's just the circumstances that force.
Amara stopped when Dimas suddenly stopped. Dimas who showed a smile while waving his hands inevitably forced him to take his eyes there, and he was stuck.
"God, the guy who had the party."
Unbeknownst to Dimas, his words just now were like a rusty seething seething. Just looking at Juan's face, Amara felt a pain in there. His chest also felt tight. Even his eyes were also heating up like he wanted to shed a colorless lava.
Dimas looked at Amara in surprise as he felt a squeeze in his hand. Even the hand of the girl's hand was suddenly cold and wet. A moment later, the words no doubt escaped from Amara's lips with a raucous tone.
"Mas, I want to go home now."
"What?"
There's no more time. When Amara was about to turn around, Dimas actually tightened the check. At that time the figure of Juan was already in front, with a smile that was very charming. A smile that cannot be expressed in words.
"Hey. Thank you, for coming and .. bring Amara here." Juan greeted Dimas kindly, then turned his eyes to Amara with a gaze full of puja. "Mar," he said later to the girl.
Though her heart ached, Amara tried to behave normally by returning a smile, even though it was too forced.
Dimas and Juan's forehead shriveled as they heard Amara's words just now. The two looked at each other, with a confused expression. Feeling that something was wrong, in the end made Juan decide to ask Amara himself.
"I mean, Mar?"
Not yet had time to get an answer from Amara, Juan was forced to hold back his curiosity because Dimas again interrupted with a question
"Oh yeah, what do you think? I want to congratulate them."
"Congratulations?" Amara looked at Dimas and Juan alternated with expressions demanding an explanation.
Juan who was about to answer and had raised his hand to show the place where his parents suddenly closed after Amara asked. The man then looked at the friend with a look that was difficult to explain.
"Yes, congratulations" replied Juan. He then narrowed his eyes, looking at Amara full of probing. "So you don't know that today is my parents' wedding anniversary? Have you forgotten?"
"Bu–not that, Ju." Amara suddenly clumsy. Focusing too much on her heartache, she even forgets Juan's parents' wedding anniversary date, which has been her special day. Honestly, Amara had thought that today was Dimas' engagement day. It is clear that he was heartbroken because of it.
Amara turned her gaze to Dimas, intending to demand an explanation because the man had not told her at all. Instead of the sorry words he got. The man opened his eyes as if he were saying 'what!" with sign language. Amara can do anything but chuckle and snort.
"Juan, sorry ...." In the end, Amara could only say the word in a soft and regretful manner. Juan did not seem to be concerned. The man smiled while stroking his shoulder.
"No pa-pa, Mar. I understand, you're thinking about something else."
"Huh, what?" Amara blinked her eyes. Juan's smile only made him suspicious. Don't the man know that he was jealous?
"Let's talk later."
Hearing Juan's reassuring reply, Amara could only nod her head and smile in relief.
"Ehem!" Dimas cleared his throat, eventually attracting Amara and Juan to turn to look at him. "Gue feels like a mosquito repellent, deh," he said later without looking at the face. He just pretends to busy himself to pay attention to the surrounding area.
"Sorry, Mas. That's not what I mean." Amara, who suddenly felt bad, moved closer to give an explanation.
"Well, I understand. You think I brought you here for what? Yes to Juan, it's."
Amara jerks. Staring at Dimas's face which showed his grin, he squinted. In the end he could conclude if Dimas mempermak appearance to such a way just to unite it with Dimas. Just contact Amara's eyes glazed because it's so bad. Dimas is very good at turning feelings around.
"You don't have to be mebek. No need to hug me too. I know you want to say thank you, right?" guess Dimas while pointing the finger at Amara.
Of course Amara put on a smile, and bowed shyly. He then lays a heavy blow on Dimas' arm.
"Mas Dimas nyebelin!" rutuknya.
In the end they split up. Dimas asks permission to see Juan's parents alone. Of course with the intention that Amara and Juan can talk together.
The atmosphere of the party that was very crowded made both parents Juan preoccupied with greeting the invited guests who were all friends and colleagues. Dimas saw that from a distance, and decided to delay meeting the party owner for a while. He took a glass of juice and stepped towards the seat reserved for a short sit.
However, a check in his hand managed to make him stop and turn his head.
"Naura?"
