Amara was surprised to see someone who was no stranger to her, lying on the side of the road. No one cares about his situation. Even everyone who was there was too engrossed in their battle to the point of not realizing it had injured a clueless person.
Forced, Amara came out of hiding to then approach the figure with a sagging motion.
"Mak Naura." Amara patted the girl on the cheek in a kneeling position. Apparently Naura fainted because she showed no movement at all.
"Astaghfirullah. What do I have to do now?" Amara sighed with worry. Moreover, looking at the fresh blood dripping from the back of Naura's head.
He watches the situation around. It seems very unsafe if he continues to be there. Riots are getting more rampant. Things are heating up. Many were injured because from two camps no one wanted to give up.
Amara looked back at Naura after dragging the girl's body to a safer place and thought it was necessary to wake her up. He remembered if he kept eucalyptus oil in his medical kit box, then without a second thought rushed to smash it into some parts of Naura's body. Hoping that the pungent smell of the oil could make Naura wake up.
"Mbak Naura's. Wake up Ma'am," he said while patting Naura's cheek gently.
Succeeds. Naura's eyelids, which had been tightly closed, now began to show movement before slowly opening. However, the pain in his head made the girl grimace in pain.
"My head," he groaned as he reflexively touched the painful area.
"Sir, we must quickly take shelter in a safe place. The longer you stay here the more dangerous."
Naura was surprised to hear that voice. He who was initially closed, reflexes opened his eyes and widened to see the figure of Amara was nearby. He looked at her with a worried face.
"You?" between surprise and panic.
"I'm sorry I dragged Naura to this place. I'm worried. Earlier, Naura was lying on the side of the road because of pinsan. Ma'am ... Why is Ma'am Naura here?"
Amara's question made Naura stuck. For the first time he felt a great shame. His existence here was to harm Amara. However, who would have thought if the person he wanted to harm actually helped him.
"Mhrs ... Naura can get up and walk, right?" Seeing that Naura was just sculpting, Amara asked to be sure. It doesn't matter how Naura gets here. Clearly, he should immediately take the girl to a safer place.
"Why indeed?" Naura asked innocently.
"We need to get out of here quickly, ma'am. Danger. Mbak Naura's head was severely injured. Need to be stitched to stop bleeding."
"A right too." Naura sighed softly. His hand then touched the back of the head that was hampered Amara's thigh. Again he grimaced with pain. "It hurts so much, Amara," complained Naura to tears.
"Yes I know, Ma'am. That's why we have to leave quickly. We're going to the puskesmas not far from here, yeah. I have my medical friends there. The equipment is also complete. Let Naura's mother be dealt with immediately."
"okay." Naura nodded. He then tried to get up helped by Amara.
However, unfortunately the wound was enough to confiscate his strength, to walk Naura difficulty. He really felt helpless.
"Mar, I'm not strong anymore on foot. I'm limp. My head's dizzy. My gaze was also twitching," Naura complained as she stopped her footsteps. He seemed to want to give up even though Amara was eager to replace him.
"But Naura must be dealt with immediately" urged Amara. While Naura just grimaced while shaking her head.
Amara can't force anymore. As a woman, she also had limited strength to carry Naura's body that weighed the same as her. All he needed to do was find a safe place to be able to immediately treat Naura's wounds.
Luckily, there were a couple of box cars parked out front. He only needed to find the unlocked one to hide Naura there. Naura herself didn't seem to mind when she headed there.
Although with great difficulty, Amara finally managed to bring Naura into one of the box cars. It does feel stuffy. At least, they no longer needed to feel threatened.
Amara laid Naura on her side to check the back of the girl's head.
"Sir, I clean up Naura's wounds first." He asked permission before starting his activities. Naura herself could still nod despite her eyes being closed and her body suffocating. "Maybe it's gonna hurt a little bit. But Sister Naura has to put up with it, yeah."
Justright. Just one touch, Naura immediately screamed in pain.
"Sick, Mar! You have my head!" Look at her. In an emergency like that still think badly of the person who helped him.
"I'm just cleaning with alcohol, ma'am. I haven't sewed it yet."
"Huh? Sew?" Naura rounded her eyeballs.
"Mr Naura's scalp is torn and open. It needs to be sewn to tie it up" Amara explained. However, at once Amara felt sorry for explaining because then Naura even cried loudly. Really not very elegant.
"Yeahah! Damaged my hair! My care all this time! I've made a lot of money to go to the salon, Mar!"
Amara breathed deeply. Apparently Naura is thinking more about the beauty of her hair than her own health.
"Yes, Mother. I understand. But this is for the good of Naura's sister as well."
Although Amara had calmed down, but Naura was still reluctant to shut up.
"Yes, if Madam Naura does not want her wound I sew, enough bandage to stop the bleeding, yes. Later, Ms. Naura can go to a beauty clinic for plastic surgery."
Though Amara spoke the origin, but apparently it was quite successful to make Naura feel calm. The girl then stopped her crying and sent Amara to do whatever she could.
Only then did they realize that the atmosphere out there was quiet. However, unfortunately Amara found it difficult to open the door.
"Sir, why can't the door be opened?" He looked at Naura with a panicked face. The light of his panic was contagious to the crybaby girl behind him.
"You can!" Naura got up from her bed. "Hurry to open, Amara! I don't want to be locked up here! I don't want to die here!" The girl cried again. This was the other side of Naura that Amara had just discovered.
Amara gave a sigh of despair after many times trying to open the door but still failed. He sat down and wiped the sweat that was pouring out.
"It looks like taking refuge here is a bad idea, Amara. Not safe, we're locked. It's your idea, right!" point at Naura limply.
"Sir, in an emergency like this why still love to scapegoat fellow, anyway! Wasn't Madam Naura herself who was not strong I took to Puskesmas earlier!" Even though Amara was a patient, she certainly did not accept being constantly cornered by Naura. What he said was fact.
Naura was about to reply to Amara. However, snoozed because of the ringing sound on his phone.
His eyes that originally looked cynically at Amara suddenly sparkled when he saw the name of the caller. With a smile full of arrogance, he showed his phone screen to Amara.
Instantly the eyeballs immediately balled. Along with that his heart also felt a wound. With a feeling of remorse, she noticed Naura who was receiving a call from her husband.
"Hello, Dimas." Naura was silent for a moment, listening to Dimas across there speak. "I-I was in a box car by the side of the road." Naura glanced at him for a moment. "Together Amara. We're locked inside."
I don't know what Dimas said, Amara couldn't hear at all. However, it was clear then that Naura turned off her phone.
I want Amara to ask about Dimas' whereabouts and how the man knew about Naura's situation. Yet his lips were like heavy to launch such curious words. His heart was already quite sick and disappointed. Naura's arrogance really hurt her.
"You heard. Dimas will even be coming to save me soon."
Amara did not respond to Naura's words. He preferred to throw his face to avoid the haughty expression shown by Naura.
However, without Amara knowing, Naura's haughty gaze turned heartbroken as she turned away. If Amara knew that Naura was testing how she felt, she might not have to feel hurt like this.
Suddenly Naura held onto her head which felt pulsating in great horror. The moaning sound that slid from his lips successfully attracted the attention of Amara.
Amara's grim face turned frantic looking at Naura who was like in pain. He reflexively approached and let his thighs be used as a pillow.
"Mak Naura why?"
"I'm not strong, Mar! It's not strong!"
"Hold, Ma'am. Wouldn't Mas Dimas come to help?"
Simultaneously, Amara seemed to hear a faint voice mentioning his name. Because so faint, he even difficult to distinguish it was a call or hallucination only.
"Well, are you dumb?" Naura, who noticed Amara's facial changes, was finally intrigued to ask.
"I'm like hearing someone call me, Ma'am" Amara replied as she set her ears to hear.
Silent. No sound could be heard, until the two could only sigh in despair. However, a moment later a heavy voice called out Naura's name.
"Naura! Yura! Are you in there!"
The two looked at each other and then looked at each other at the same time.
"That's Dimas!" Naura suddenly woke up and banged on the door while shouting Dimas' name. "I'm here, Dimas! I'm right here! Please get me out, Dimas! It's very stuffy in here and I'm having trouble breathing."
There was a noise out there with a strong movement in the door of the box. Not wrong again, Dimas must be trying to open the door of the car box.
However, the movement suddenly came to a halt and there was a noise from outside. Amara and Naura both put their ears to listen.
It looks like Dimas is in a heated debate with the owner of the box car they are riding in. Dimas's tone even sounded fiery because of his emotions. Had she been the one Dimas was fighting for, surely Amara would have been the happiest woman. Unfortunately not him. Dimas until so only for Naura only. He is useless even though he has sacrificed everything.
But love is still love. He loves Dimas sincerely as he is. It won't melt even if the man doesn't love him. He will do his best for the people he loves. Including helping Naura. Wasn't Dimas' sadness his sadness too?
The debate goes wrong because their side does not trust the reason Dimas easily. The increasingly weak Naura tried to get up and move closer to the door. He felt the need to do something to help Dimas escape this difficult situation.
"Bukain the door, Dimas! Help me!" Naura shouted while hitting the door with her hand. And it certainly makes those out there believe in their existence. Instantly Naura felt regret. He should have done that already. Why wait until Dimas has a big debate.
Naura hoped Amara would do it. Utilize her status as a wife and ask Dimas to save her. In fact, the girl was silent, lamenting her wounds and jealousy.
However, even so Naura felt a salute to Amara. That girl is so nice. Despite her love as deep as the ocean and as wide as the blue sky, Amara still tried to hold her all her might. As long as the person he loves is happy. It was only fitting that the girl was able to shift her position in Dimas' heart.
The noise and strong shaking happened again. A sign Dimas was trying to open the door.
Naura who increasingly could not stand the pain was seen shedding tears. It was of course inviting concern in Amara's heart. The girl hugged Naura's paled body. Even to the point of shedding tears like himself also felt hurt.
"Mak Naura hold it up first, yeah. Everything's gonna be okay."
Naura's cold hand held Amara's fingers and gently squeezed them. "Mar, thank you for helping me who has always been evil with you, yes," he said in a regretful tone. However, it actually makes Amara was ambushed by sadness.
"Mak Naura is not evil. I know Madam Naura is actually a good person."
Naura chuckled softly while grimacing.
"You're a good girl, Mar."
The sound of a flung crowbar jolted the two after the final stomp sounded. An open door followed by a glimmer of light appeared from there, giving light to the dark and dense room.
The breathless figure of Dimas was visible. Stand up with a dashing and a face full of sadness. But the man seemed stunned to find the scenery presented in there.
There was nothing else Amara thought of but Naura's health. So when the door managed to open, what he was shouting were words of command for anyone out there.
"Hurry up and call an ambulance! He needs help!"
It was enough help Naura needed from him. Dimas has arrived. The door is open. Amara thinks Naura doesn't need him anymore and she has to get out of here.
His heart had been wounded enough to not have the courage to look at Dimas. Slowly he lowered Naura's body from his lap. He felt the need to pull over. Giving time to Dimas who was moving closer, to vent his relief and affection for Naura. It's really very sincere. Absolutely sincere. Love does not always have to be. As much as possible to hold the cry even though the tears have pooled in the eye fertilizers. He was ready to go.
However, it would be a surprise for Amara when a sturdy arm stopped her movement. Pulling her body, then without warning, hugged her tightly.
Still trying to master from the shock, his eyes occasionally blinked in confusion in silence. Then a moment later came the sound of sobs from his left ear. Right where Dimas put his face in the recess of his neck.
Did ya? Did Dimas really cry?
Not yet out of shock, Amara again made haru by an expression full of regret with a hoarse tone full of tears from his loved ones.
"I won't stop beating myself up if anything happens to you, Amara. I will never forgive myself."
Seriate.
