The Nurse's Choice of Man

The Nurse's Choice of Man
Found his patient

Awakened from his sleep, Dimas sighed softly while staring at the ceiling of the room. He looked at the AC and shook his head.

"Had to be half dead. Turns out the AC was destroyed. Surely Amara's work," his grunt while moving to get up to reach the AC remote control that is usually placed on the nightstand.

The man who was still wearing the white shirt immediately knit an eyebrow when he found something falling from his forehead. He took it then with a look of wonder.

"A half wet towel?" mumbling slowly. His gaze then combed the surrounding area. There was a container filled with water, as well as several layers of blankets that covered her body and ended up on Amara who was still sleeping on her left side with the cheeks wrapped in the back of her hand.

"Indeed last night I why to compress everything? The Amara also fell asleep to the gini. Do I have a fever, huh?" he thought.

After trying to relate everything he saw, Dimas then dared to draw conclusions. Surely he really had a fever until Amara stayed up late to keep him all night. He then shook his head while smiling inexhaustibly, realizing how shocked he was to meet Naura again.

Actually Dimas's own heart still feels sore by the incident. However, seeing how Amara's struggle that has been trying hard to help his recovery, Dimas finally chose to rise from the slump and try to make peace with the situation. There is no benefit in holding a grudge in the chest until it drags on. Not the happiness that can be, it is just an urgent tightness.

He then slightly bent his body to be able to see the face of Amara who was still asleep.

"Basic stupid chick. Take care of me all night" he chirped with a small smile. Shut up for a moment, Dimas noticed Amara's tired-looking face. As a human who feels indebted will certainly feel sorry to see the girl fall asleep in this position.

Without a second thought, Dimas immediately moved and carefully lifted the nurse's body to be laid on the bed. Do not forget to cover it with a thick blanket and turn the room AC back on with moderate temperature.

As if not disturbed by the actions of Dimas earlier, Amara showed no reaction at all. The girl instead looks comfortable with a small squirm and then turns her body tilted to the right. His hand even grabbed a bolster pillow and held it into a hug.

Smiling a little, Dimas again tidied up the blanket Amara had uncovered when the girl moved. He leaned towards the girl before whispering a word.

"Thanks, take care of me this far." Dimas spoke with a sincere heart even though he was not heard by the girl. Admittedly or not, he really needs the figure of Amara. Without the girl, Dimas doesn't even know what she's going to be.

At four o'clock in the morning Dimas came out of the room. The man closed the door of the room very carefully so as not to make a sound and disturb Amara's sleep. When he turned around, he was surprised to find that Bi Ely was already standing behind him with a face of astonishment.

"Auntie makes a surprise," he said full of emphasis.

"Mas Dimas is awake. Already eaten? Keep closing the door carefully until there is no sound. Usually also Jedar-jeder no heart-hatinya–" Eli immediately shut his mouth when Dimas hinted him to be quiet. He immediately nodded in understanding, then looked towards the tightly closed door with a curious expression. "Who is inside?" tanyanya.

"Marorning, Bi."

Hearing that Ely immediately opened his eyes. Surprised exactly. While Dimas just sighed slowly and twisted the lazy eyeball. As if he knew the wild thoughts that were perching in the brain of his domestic assistant, he immediately explained in order to dismiss the bad thoughts.

"Because keep me Amara until I fall asleep, Bi. She looks so tired, so I can't stand to wake up."

"Well that's it," said Ely while nodding in understanding.

"Yes, lah. What does Bi Ely think?" grumbled Dimas while staring at Ely, then left from there.

"What kind of cooking aunt?"

"Beat rendang cooking, a favorite of Mas Dimas," he replied to the man who was currently sitting in the pantry chair.

"Not ripe yet, Bi? I'm hungry, right." Like a child whining to his mother, Dimas said so as he put his lips together. Lightly Ely who saw it immediately laughed amusedly because of anxiety.

Dimas was so since adolescence. Treating Ely like her own mother. Ely was like a surrogate mother when her mother wasn't on her side.

"It's getting ripe soon, Mom. Patience a little, yes," said Ely calming. He then moved to the closet, and stepped closer to Dimas by hand carrying two jars of dry snacks.

"Wait for the rendangnya to snack on this first, yes," he said while thrusting popcorn and nuts.

Dimas stared at the jar. Splashing his lips, then then nodding faintly. "May, deh," he agreed, then opened the lid of the glass jar containing the popcorn.

"Mas Dimas is fine, right?" After a moment of silence and busy with his cooking, Ely finally decided to ask.

Not without reason he did. Ely saw for himself how Dimas was doing when he returned yesterday afternoon. He who was surprised and curious immediately asked Amara to ascertain the cause.

Ah, seeing Dimas's tantrum was so hard for Ely to believe that the man was doing well like nothing had happened. And so he wanted to make sure.

"What am I really doing?" As if ignoring Ely's concerns, Dimas asked back in his casual style while eating his favorite popcorn.

"It wasn't yesterday I met Sama–"

"Naura, right?" cut Dimas's.

Although Ely was a bit surprised, but the woman still nodded. "Yes, Mum."

"I've been trying to make him sorry and forget everything, Bi. Not that humans can be angry, but it is not good to hold a grudge? That yesterday I was just shocked to suddenly meet him. I thought Naura was swallowed to death by the earth."

"God!" Although at the beginning Ely was relieved of Dimas' willingness, but the woman immediately glared inexhaustibly at the last words of her employer. "Mas Dimas, how's that ugly?" reminded me.

"It's real, right!" firmly Dimas half reminded. "He's the one who made things, Bi. But where is he trying to take responsibility? When I was sick no, he came to look at things for a moment. Nothing, right!"

Ely could only shake weakly with a look of pity. While Dimas actually looked inflamed until his face was red. However, he still tried to hold back the anger so as not to explode because he had made a decision. Yes, only by forgiving and forgetting does he believe his life will be calm and serene.

Not wanting to dissolve in sadness Dimas tried to divert it by eating. The man closed the jar of popcorn, then opened the jar of eggs. Just feeding a few seeds into his mouth, suddenly the hysterical screaming sound that appeared from behind managed to shock him.

"Mas Dimas! I'm gonna take you everywhere, huaaa." Without warning, Amara rushed towards Dimas's back with a powerful motion as she felt relieved to have found her patient.

Without him knowing, his actions made Dimas stuck and speechless. While trying to let go of Amara's hand that was embracing from behind, Dimas's right hand pointed towards the glass filled with water as if it was giving a signal.

Eli who saw Dimas' expression seemed confused to interpret his master's gesture. However, soon after, he was made aware of what had happened just now. Apparently Dimas bulged because he choked on eggs because he was so surprised.
