I don't know how long Amara prayed and talked to himself on the tomb. He doesn't care about the area around. Amara drifts in sweet memories with her parents alone. To the extent that he forgot if there was someone waiting behind him, standing from earlier until his legs felt sore.
Dimas could clearly hear whatever Amara was saying there. The girl told me everything she had experienced. Ada likes. There's lara. He was even astonished when Amara without hesitation to say his name in the venting session. Sometimes the girl laughed. Not infrequently shed tears. Hufft, really drama. Yes, of course Dimas did not understand how Amara felt because he still felt the integrity of the family. However, even so, he tried to understand by letting the girl enter his dimension alone.
Ah, long tired too. When it comes to her late parents, Amara becomes amnesiac at everything. Dimas was getting uncomfortable with this. The day began to evening, not to mention the overcast that hung in the sky there, as if giving a warning if it would spill rain right then and there.
"Mar." Dimas touched Amara's shoulder to draw attention. Amara turned her head, and found Dimas bowing and smiling at her. "Back, yuk. Look, the sky is still crying." Dimas pointed his index finger upwards.
Amara lifted her head that leaned on the mother's navel lazily, then looked at Dimas's face with a wave.
"A little while more, my. I still miss Mom's dad."
"Rain rush, Mar. Tomorrow again, well," said Dimas gently.
"But–"
"Mar, the distance of the house with this place is not close We need travel time more than three hours, you know. This is the village road. Broken. I'm afraid if it rains first, my car will get stuck and we can't go home. This time ... aja, horrifying me, Mar."
Amara fell silent as she exchanged glances with Dimas. Because the man pleaded with the utmost, he was forced to follow Dimas's wishes despite being forced to.
"Oh, we're home." Amara said softly, then resigned when Dimas helped her stand up and led her to walk.
Just a few steps away from the cemetery, the rain really fell. Amara and Dimas compactly ran towards the car and rushed in for cover. Since there were no plans to visit anyone there, the two agreed to continue their journey home.
From the windshield of the car, the two could see how it was raining so heavily. Lightning strikes and lightning understates. Dimas glanced at Amara and caught a terrified expression on that pretty face.
"Not to be afraid. Everything must be fine," he said calmly.
"If it's just raining I'm not too worried, Mom. But it's raining heavily plus lightning and lightning striking."
Dimas was silent hearing Amara's sigh just now. He knew where the girl was talking. The left right side along the road they went through was overgrown with large trees. The strong wind that hit could make the trees fall and block the road. Or worse, it can even hit the vehicle and snatch the victim.
Dimas closed his eyes for a moment. Pray in your heart, asking the Creator to always be protected.
Brak!
Amara and Dimas were shocked at the same time when they heard the sound of a bang among the rumbling rain. The sound came from the front. Along with that also the lights installed on the side of the road went out simultaneously.
"Astaghfirullah's. What's that sound, Mas?" Amara asked with trembling lips.
"No idea, Mar. But from the sound of his voice it was like a big tree had fallen."
"Well!" Amara is half hysterical. The horrifying shadow of her being trapped in the forest instantly perched on her head.
Dimas refused to speak. He chose to focus on the scene in front of him. The cloudy sky and the swift rain that supports the twilight is increasingly complementing the dark atmosphere to successfully limit visibility. Luckily, the car lights that highlighted the bright was able to penetrate the darkness.
Justright. A large tree fell down leading to the road. The trunk of the old tree was very large with twigs and lush foliage that successfully closed the road.
"Maas ...." Lirih Amara while looking at Dimas with teary eyes. He could no longer continue his words. His bad thoughts had just happened in plain sight.
"Quiet, yeah. Everything's gonna be okay." Although he himself was in a state of confusion and panic, but Dimas still tried to calm Amara. He clasped the girl's cold fingers warmly, and smiled sincerely for the sake of reassuring. "Gue wants to come down to see things ahead."
"Don't." Amara held Dimas who was about to open the door, making the young man unknowingly undo the intention and look at him in astonishment. He then shook his head while biting his lower lip as a form of prohibition.
"It's just for a minute, Mar," Dimas said to reassure.
Amara nodded quickly. "I beg you not to." He looked around and ended up on Dimas' face again. "We don't know where we are. There is no home. There are no residential residents. If Mas Dimas is reckless to come out, I'm afraid suddenly there are wild animals that come attacking."
Dimas was silent for a moment while thinking about Amara's words. In the end he felt that the girl's words had a point as well.
"Yes. There's a point." Dimas said understand. "But, it looks like there's a car behind us. Maybe we can work together to divert that tree branch at least until it can be passed by the car." Dimas turned the position of the body to look back, while Amara suddenly followed what she was doing.
"Where?" amara asked as she looked behind them was nothing but darkness.
"Yes yes. There's nothing." Dimas squinted his eyes to clarify the view. He looked at Amara for a moment and looked back. "But I'm sure there was a car behind us. I saw for myself from the rearview mirror, Mar! Indeed the distance is not too close, but I'm sure that the car drove in the direction of us!" Dimas tries to convince Amara. However, seeing from the reality that exists, of course, makes Amara difficult to believe it.
"But it doesn't exist, Mom. Maybe Mas Dimas saw it wrong?"
"No!"
"Or maybe the car turned around?"
"Come away!" Dimas growled in annoyance. The man threw his back on the seat back, then raised his head while closed. He rubbed his face rough. Dizziness directly attacks the head. He never expected to pass tonight in a wilderness-like place.
The only access to the highway is covered by a large tree trunk. No brother to go with. More and more the night. Can't let anyone come to provide reinforcements.
Amara who saw Dimas' expression could only remain silent while biting her lower lip. Feeling guilty, because it all happened.
"Mas ... I'm sorry ...."
Dimas opened his eyes to hear the words. He turned his head and found Amara looking at him with teary eyes.
"This all happened because of me. If only I hadn't–"
"Shut up." Dimas cut out Amara's speech. Flat, without emotion. "Not to blame yourself. Do not make people's heads more dizzy. Going to sleep now, only tomorrow we think how to get out of here."
Amara shakes in fear. "But I'm not sleepy."
"Shouldn't be sleepy!" jolt Dimas with unfriendly mimic. "Sleeping, if you don't want to see a ghost knocking on the door."
"Mas!" Reflexes, Amara tightens her body while hugging Dimas' arm out of fear.
