Amara opened the door to Dimas' room from the inside in a very slow motion. His head then poked out through the gap of the door that was slightly open. After looking around to make sure something, then he breathed a sigh of relief because he did not find anyone there.
Amara looked back with a bitter face, precisely looking at Dimas who was sitting casually on his bed as if without the slightest burden of thought and was now smiling sweetly while looking at him. Feeling annoyed at being the center of attention, he then moved from there without a word.
While Dimas could only laugh there because he saw the behavior of his wife who was like a chicken thief was afraid of being discovered.
"Mara, Amara. Duaing the same husband alone wear fear of being caught by everyone." Dimas muttered as he looked at the door that was closed again. Even though it was useless he spoke like that, his wife was no longer there either.
For a moment Dimas was stunned with a distant mind glaring. He remembered the incident a few moments ago when he was still holding a friendly loving wife.
At that moment Amara whined to ask him to come home. The girl's face was really adorable if she was so spoiled. Amara's clear eyes looked at her like a wail. Maybe that's how women are when they are begging their husbands.
"Later to go home, yeah. Don't stay here anymore" whined Amara.
"okay." Dimas immediately answered steadily to make Amara immediately sparkling with pleasure. However, he hurriedly continued his unresolved words in order to avoid misunderstanding his wife. "As long as .. lo follow my one request."
Amara's delighted expression instantly turned grim at once. The woman was stunned looking at her husband who was now holding a sly smile on his lips. It seemed like he could smell the unpleasant scent of the requirements to be put forward.
"What?" asked the girl with an innocent face but was very curious.
Instead of directly answering Amara's question, Dimas instead tightened his embrace, then looked at his wife's pair of clear irises fixedly, and then returned to speaking in a serious tone.
"Gue wants to, you're resigning to be a nurse at this hospital right now."
Dimas could see the shock on Amara's face. The girl flinched with slightly enlarged pupils.
For a moment Amara could only be stunned confused while staring at the brown iris firmly Dimas as if diving into the seriousness of the man through the look of his eyes. Until then Amara shook her head while moving to release Dimas's embrace to then keep her distance, then finally spoke in a cold and firm tone.
"sorry. I can't."
Instead of being angry by Amara's rejection just now, Dimas remained calm while nodding his head, as if he had guessed if this would happen.
"Gue was guessing. And I also stick to the initial decision, which is to stay here and book until your night shift ends."
Amara's mouth gaped in disbelief. He noticed Dimas' expression remaining calm and smiling, then his head moved in a shudder with a sigh as if inexhaustible.
"What do you want Mas Dimas?" Amara asked in astonishment with a firm tone. "Can Mas Dimas apply the conditions for which I am really heavy? I'm just asking Mas Dimas to come home! So as not to waste money! To be able to do activities as usual! But why even ask me to resign as a reciprocal!" Amara was silent for a moment after realizing her mistake in a high tone to her husband. He closed his eyes and stood in each breath before continuing to speak, but this time in a quiet, quivering voice.
"Mas Dimas knows, right, being a nurse was my dream since childhood. My dream. For the orphaned me, getting this isn't easy. For me, this is not just a profession, because my intention is to help the wounded with the knowledge I have. This is my life, Mom. It's my livelihood."
He then grabbed Amara's hand, gently squeezed his fingers, and looked at the clear eyes fixed while speaking.
"Gue doesn't like to hold onto others. I don't like it being another man's point of view."
"I'm a nurse, Mas, so it's only natural that I hold onto the person I'm checking on. They want to look at me like it's up to them because they have eyes. Mas ... may I know your bad taste based on what reason?" Amara confirmed her gaze to Dimas and waited for the man to give her the reason.
While Dimas himself even looks wrong behavior noticed by Amara with a look like that. He immediately threw away his face with an expression that was difficult to interpret.
"Yes .. yes because .. lo was created just for my pimple," replied Dimas while scratching his non-itchy nape.
"Rarely that?" urged Amara with a dissatisfied expression.
"Concure me!"
"Isn't it because Mas Dimas was jealous?"
Dimas could hardly believe Amara dared to ask him that. For a moment he was confused as to what to answer. Amara was waiting for him to talk.
"Yes, I'm jealous! What do you want, lo?" Dimas suddenly spoke loudly while staring intently at Amara. He could see the girl's face blushing red. His eyes were also happy. However, Dimas felt the need to ensure something until he reaffirmed the true meaning of the word jealousy that he meant earlier.
"Gue is jealous when you hold onto someone else! I am jealous when you see someone else! And I'm jealous that you're joking with someone else! You can only take care of me, Mar. I'm willing to pay whatever you ask for."
At that moment Dimas could clearly capture the disappointed expression on Amara's face. Although the girl tried hard to cover it by remaining calm and smiling bitterly, but the look in her eyes could not lie.
Instantly Dimas' feelings mixed together into one. One side he is happy to be sure himself if Amara loves him. However, on the other hand, he was also sad because it made his girl so disappointed. He had hurt Amara, and attracted her feelings. But he can be sure if soon they will live happily as a real married couple.
Dimas exhaled a long breath. He was fortunate to have a kind and understanding wife. He had teased Amara until the disappointment of the girl changed because of embarrassment. So Amara decided to rush off before Dimas actually pounced on her that morning.
Dimas just laughed at the way Amara left him. The girl looked scared whenever she mentioned about the first night. Amara didn't even know Dimas was just teasing her. Because Dimas himself feels there is still a wedge about the negligence of their relationship.
Dimas realizes that he ever left Amara despite a good purpose. And that's what made him doubt whether or not their marriage was legal. Dimas did not want to just because of lust he and Amara engaged in an intimate relationship without a bond. Dimas didn't want them fornication.
Dimas had thought everything carefully and just waited for his realization.
He grabbed the device lying on the left side, then unlocked the screen and started contacting someone. After the phone was connected, he spoke to someone on the other side.
"Ma. Can you help Dimas to take care of Dimas' wedding with Amara?"
