The Nurse's Choice of Man

The Nurse's Choice of Man
There will be me

With her hands squeezing and teeth flanking her lower lip, Amara walked back and forth in front of the hotel where the party was. The girl could not cover the worries on her face. A moment later, Juan appeared from the inside and approached the girl with a worried face.

"Where? Dimas didn't call or pick up your phone at all?" asked the young man with a serious expression.

"Not yet" replied Amara with a head shaking. His face was also still worried.

"Basic is not sane. Saying gini why not say it!" grouse Juan. He returned to his cell phone. Unlock the screen and try calling the Dimas number. A minute later, the man lowered his phone from the ear while shaking his head. "Not taken up either," he said.

"Did."

Juan who initially looked down while looking at the screen of his phone suddenly looked up to see Amara's expression. The girl looked very agitated. Circulating his gaze around while massaging the temple like he was dizzy.

Juan sighed softly. Amara's restlessness was her uneasiness as well. Looking at his best friend's unsettled expression, could he close his eyes? Obviously not. He could not have let the girl drown in sadness alone. After keeping her phone back in her pants pocket, she touched Amara's shoulder and smiled as she looked at her.

"We go in first, yuk. We're talking about this inside. When he was an adult, I'm sure he was fine" he said calmly.

"But Ju, Mas Dimas just healed ...."

"Mar .. I know. But Mama I've got you, you know."

Amara pursed her lips after hearing Juan's words. His thoughts about Dimas were instantly annihilated already. He blinked, then looked at Juan with slightly rounded eyes.

"My aunt nyariin?" ask the girl to make sure.

"Yes." Yeah." Juan nodded steadily.

Amara's expression turned dark. The girl lowered her head, then looked at Juan with regretful mimicry to invite his best friend to ask.

"Mar, what's wrong with you? You don't mind meeting Mama, do you? You came all the way here, you know. Didn't you congratulate them?" Juan tries to persuade her, because she thinks Amara is reluctant to see her parents for something.

"But Ju, I don't bring gifts for your parents." Amara bit her lip.

Dimas chuckled at something that almost made him misunderstand. Previously he had thought that Amara was reluctant to meet her mother because the girl was still upset. However, it turns out that something trivial is the cause.

"Geez, Mar .. I think you're so moody because what, apparently, didn't bring a gift? Jesus, Amara. Not pa-pa times. That's not what my parents expected."

"really?" Amara asked with great enthusiasm.

"Hu'um." Dimas nodded.

"Then?"

Juan pulled his shoulders. "Yes, of course, because I want to see you."

"Juan .. honestly yes, it was Mas Dimas who arranged everything in such a way. He's the one who kicked me. I don't even know where he's taking me. I think he deliberately set this up as a surprise. But unfortunately, he forgot the gift he was supposed to bring. Really, I really don't feel good about your mom. I should've given you a little gift just for a memento." Unknowingly Amara's hand grabbed Juan's arm and shook him with a slight movement. His eyes looked at Juan as if he were begging for understanding.

Juan who knows very well how sincere Amara can only smile and hold his best friend's hand back. Nodding, he said, "Yes, yes Mar. Without you making it clear at length gini I also understand."

"Word? From whom?" Amara asked again with her innocent face. While Juan did not intend to answer at all, but pulled the girl's hand to invite him in so that he could quickly meet his parents. He knows how his best friend is. The girl will definitely pry information to its roots even though it is not important though.

Amara's performance that night really managed to attract the attention of everyone who was at the party. No exception Juan's parents as the owner of the event. Amara looks different than usual. The girl looked classy, and knew how to put herself in the crowd.

"Sir, why is everyone looking in our direction?" amara whispered as the man held her hand, passed the red carpet and walked towards her parents. "Surely they think things that are not about us" he continued uncomfortable with the view of the circulation.

Instead of being distracted, Juan enjoyed it.

"Biarin. They must have thought well."

"Well what?"

"Where I know. They don't scream, so how can I hear" chirped Juan, who made Amara's lips suddenly throb.

"Ish, I think you know the truth" the girl grumbled.

Dimas only smiled in response. He did not want to ruin the happy moment with an unimportant debate. While Amara was only speechless while observing the man beside her. A sweet smile that developed, a happy twinkle when he looked, ah inevitably Juan's happiness was also transmitted to him.

Undeniably, Amara has never been this happy before. The definition of happiness is very simple. Simply look at Juan's smile without any burden. If it can be together with this close distance, for him it is a bonus from God.

Seconds by seconds passed quickly. The closer the distance from the position of old man Dimas increasingly makes his heart beat fast. Amara's steps also felt heavier.

Juan who noticed Amara's change in attitude immediately tightened his grip as a form of support. The girl seems groggy. It was visible from his paled face, and his cold palms.

"Not to be afraid. Mama I didn't bite, anyway."

Amara suddenly glanced at Juan with a stern look as the man teased her without looking.

"Who is afraid too? Not really."

Juan only perverted a smile as the girl blatantly made denials. However, Amara's body language could not deceive at all, until when Juan showed dubious action, he could only snort.

"Yes, yeah. I'm actually embarrassed." In the end Amara admitted what made him groggy.

"Not to be ashamed. There will be me."
