The Love of the Former

The Love of the Former
DCSM chapter 10

The new clock showed me half a day when my footsteps entered the kitchen of the restaurant. With a smile that I always suggest I enter the territory that is my responsibility for the next 8 hours.

"Lo, it's coming. I thought you'd clock up, Ar?" Ma'am Buna was surprised to see my arrival.

It has become a habit, if permission or after vacation, there will be a delay clock entering work. Either it's half an hour or even up to two hours depending on the need.

"It's done, mad. Staying at home is also saturated, so go. Who knows if there's anything to help." I said after I put the small bag that I always carry work just to store the phone.

"It is you. Mbok ya rest at home. Kok even here more flat. Are you tired of Ar?"

I just smiled in response to the ravings of Mbak Buna, but tucked in guilt for lying to people as good as him. But this is the only way I can do it at least for now. I don't know next time I'll think of a better way.

"Lo, I've come to you Ar. Said busy? is it already running?" Bu Sri came with two gourami fish in his hand.

Looks like he just got out of the side fish pond to pick it up.

"Orderan ma'am?" I asked without answering his question.

"Yes.Asem sweet same rica-rica. Keep one more burning, it's again burned behind the same Miss Tima."

I saw at the long table the last place of food before it was issued to guests was neatly arranged lalapan along with the sauce. It seems like Buna has already finished it.

"There's no ma'am yet?" I walked to the dirty kitchen and approached Bu Sri who was busy seasoning the fish she brought earlier.

"Yes, I've made it sweet when it's mom." I grab a small frying pan and step towards the chiller to pick up the sweet asem paraphernalia. Pineapple fruit, carrots, cucumber as well as red chili pieces have been available there. It's just that, the material of the equipment material is distinguished by the way of slicing it.

I took two small pans at once. One for sweet asem and another for pepper-rica seasoning. We usually make a little bit of it at a time. Until when there are orders only need to heat or add ornaments that have not been included in the seasoning.

"Have you got the basil?" Mbak Buna asked while carrying a grocery note paper for tomorrow.

"It's gone, I brought it all together." I pointed at the basil leaves I put in a small container while waiting for the seasoning and fish to ripen.

It's a grocery order for tomorrow, Ar. Check it again before you go home. I was just checking a little bit, haven't had time to get to the front shed either." Unmistakably.

Recording the materials that need to be spent every day is my duty and mbak Buna as well. But more he did it because it was night time that was often held checking goods.

The shift change is coming. Mbak Buna and other friends who shift morning say goodbye home. Instantly the kitchen was clean again silent because there were only 4 people standing guard.

"Mom, I need to check the goods in the front shed first huh. Mumpung deserted, and nitip my part later if there are guests." I said with a nod of the head I got from them.

I entered the warehouse and blamed the lights. Start checking one by one the existing items. Ma'am Wiwin followed me in, there was a drink sales coming and he was recording any drinks that ran out.

"Mbak Win, order yes. I put the paper on the cashier's desk." It was the scream I knew. I just smiled at Wiwin who was staring at me.

"Just the sound why am I pounding? don't tell me I'm in real love" the perpetrator said softly
