THE LORD OF THE OTHER WORLD

THE LORD OF THE OTHER WORLD
Chapter 7: The First Group Movement

Some time has passed with many things missed. Mavis and her main group had arrived at the center of the capital city of Yukhiro Kingdom and had spent one night at the place, before the arrival of the day that the mysterious person had predicted. If what he said in the letter was the truth, then destruction would hit the capital of this kingdom within two days from now.

This morning Mavis was seen getting dressed after cleaning herself, once she felt everything was okay and tidy, the undercover little emperor decided to go look around the area around the market which might eliminate his boredom. Just the information of the inn he rented was not far from the market area, so it did not require extra energy to walk towards the trading center.

"As long as I wait for Akio and Giraldo to arrive and bring the child, it would be great if I could get a rare little snack that only exists in this kingdom." Mavis walks leisurely as she walks towards the market area, followed by her shadow creatures. "If it's not wrong the uncle of the bar owner recommended fish cakes made by one of his female acquaintances who live at the end of an alley near the slum border, right?"

Mavis turned to Mikaela just to confirm her hearing was not wrong. It's just that he soon discovers that Mikaela is scouting around like a real bodyguard. Not usually is he so serious about looking around, could there be an enemy hiding and following our group stealthily? Mavis is deep in heart and thinks it's just the worst possibility.

"Did you find anything?" Mavis then focused on communicating with Mikaela while walking with a relaxed expression. He was used to hiding his true expression, while still being connected to the connections of his servants.

"Only a bunch of market mice dare to target my Master's fortune, they have eyes, but can't see the edge of the sky!" mikaela said in an annoyed tone while communicating with Mavis through a telepathic connection. Mikaela immediately turned her head and smiled at her master in a strange way. Then continued, "Sir, should I go and clean them all up?"

"It's not necessary, it's just a waste of time. You don't have to worry, they'll come to us on their own and that's when you can take care of them," mavis said as she chuckled softly upon seeing that not only was Mikaela emitting a cruel smile, the other servants were also emitting an aura of hostility.

The Mavis group continued to move, stepped into that market territory, and momentarily paused to take a look. The man's eyes immediately turned bright and a wide smile began to be painted on his face. As far as the eye can see the rows of shops look neatly lined up, the visitors thronged the streets, not infrequently the carriage is seen through the market road that has been flat with its construction.

"Different status of a kingdom or an empire, I think only different from the combat power it has. Really, I don't think in terms of the facilities that each market has alone is much different." Mavis corrected his erroneous thinking about the claimed status of kingdoms and empires in this world. He had witnessed for himself with his eyes, he realized the market facilities of his Twin Towers Empire were no match for this kingdom.

In short, the Yukhiro Kingdom was indeed worthy of the status of being a level six affiliated kingdom in the central continent. The higher-ups of the kingdom must have had many streams of funds flowing from their trade routes. Making the development of their kingdom stable and able to compete with other large kingdoms in the central continent. Even though this kingdom was at the very end, it was still a region of the central continent, its center of real power gathering to fight for greater benefits.

"Look, it seems like my decision has been very appropriate to visit this market area. There are many things I can learn and perhaps it will greatly help the progress of the empire once I return from this journey." Mavis chuckled for a moment with immense joy.

He stopped in the middle of the road along with his servants. He fell into his thoughts and without him noticing many pairs of eyes paying attention to their existence. Some people just glanced at their eyes as if to confirm that, oh they are other foreigners, not a few of them who threw hostile gazes at the Mavis group.

"Master, I feel ...."

Uncompleted Mikaela finished her words, Mavis raised her hand and smiled. Then he said, "I feel the same way, something is wrong with this place."

"Well, we'll find out later. They must have another reason behind it."
