THE LORD OF THE OTHER WORLD

THE LORD OF THE OTHER WORLD
Chapter 23: The Return of the Orc Race

In the seconds before the dungeon opened, Mavis was seen putting a complicated face on the surface. In his heart he doubted that this was the place in question, he was afraid that it would appear on the other side, being in an undue place like a resident settlement. What happens if that happens? It would be too late for him to save them.

However, that bad premonition was immediately brushed aside once a crack slowly appeared in the view of everyone present in the room. The crack carried an ugly aura that attacked everyone's body especially some weak warriors who had low affinity. Thus the aura immediately caused a cold and gripping sensation for them.

"Sir, they're coming."

Mikaela walked leisurely from behind and then took a standby position in front of Mavis. Like a guardian who did not want her master to get hurt, Mikaela focused her vision senses towards the small hole that was starting to enlarge every second, absolutely not going to relax her guard.

"All of you be prepared, remember my instructions before, no one to act if they do not attack first, give priority to negotiations and put aside hostilities. My mission is to combine our strength with their race, it would be better if we could coexist."

The shadow creatures and the soldiers nodded in understanding. Particularly the soldiers who were in the entourage, they were basically soldiers who had sworn allegiance under the feet of Mavis, and had acknowledged him as their king. The soldiers were now in cold sweat, they were obviously very nervous and frightened by the conditions ahead, but they were unlikely to currently escape leaving the king. They were even ashamed to know that the figures serving on the side of the king did not show the same signs of fear as them.

In their hearts they have great respect for a figure like Mikaela who is not only very strong, but also brave even though she is a woman. An indisputable fact. It's just that these soldiers have misunderstood and do not know that actually Mikaela and her friends are shadow creatures. Moreover most of them were from the demon race, the combat power of those shadow creatures was not something that humans like them could reach.

A large and heavy voice echoed within that underground room. A five to eight meter tall creature appeared from the direction within the hole, then threw a hostile gaze. Sand and small rocks mukai fall, due to the shock coming from the impact of the feet of the large creature.

After the huge creature was completely out of the dimensional space, then the atmosphere became so silent and gripping. Mavis herself still noticed the burly orc's appearance. A fierce-looking creature with a distinctive ring hangs in its nostrils. Turning in his sight to see the thing he was holding, an axe measuring three to four meters was even as big as Giraldo's body.

The orc's eyes were bright red, with a snort of his breath that Mavis could hear from quite a distance away.

"Man! The war is over, we only want to return to the mainland after the shackles of your gods have disappeared! We have no enmity with your nation! You better get out of the way or don't blame us for being rude to you!" the orc said while swinging its axe to create a powerful wind ripple, the wall of the room nearby was instantly shattered. Just separate the cracks and the rest of the ruins.

Just imagine, if the orcs in front of him were just keroco in their group, then how strong were the higher-ups and leaders of their group? If Mavis wasn't careful, she would just dig her own grave. Fighting tens or hundreds of orcs may be just a child's toy for him, but another if it is in the thousands or even millions! Keep in mind, according to the records of information that Mavis got about this orc race, actually they have similarities with the goblins, which are breeding very quickly.

"You have misunderstood me, I have not come to arrest you, I want to welcome your return." Mavis restrains Mikaela's shoulders and nods at her, hinting to give way for her.

Mikaela only complied, although she was worried that the stupid orc in front of her would attack her master, but she preferred to trust the master.

"What do you mean, man? Do you think I'm a joke in your eyes?" The orc pointed at Mavis with its long axe. Suddenly the shadow creatures snorted annoyedly, but Mavis had anticipated it by telepathically sending them a message, and told everyone to remain calm.

"Maybe your nation does not know about the current condition of the mainland, however you have only arrived a moment ago. I need to tell you, wars will break out again in all parts of the continent and all races will be dragged into a maelstrom of chaos, not least your nation."

"The war you said? I don't think it will happen again at this time. After the superiors of the demon race and the gods had fallen, the two existences no longer possessed the frightening strength they once had. Even though the war is back as you said just now, our nation is not afraid at all! We orcs may have no trouble handling them! We will no longer be used by any one of them, our strength has increased during his stay inside the prison of that miniature world."

"As expected of a race already living from the war of destruction. Indeed, you are a bit right about the strength of those two races that are no longer as strong as before, even the gods never appeared on the mainland again, also the demons have been living hiding from the shadows. Today, dominance on the mainland is in the hands of the human race, moreover the power of the church army that cannot be underestimated, he said, they've secretly been trying to monopolize an entire empire operating in all corners of the continent."

"I don't understand what you mean! If you think it would be easy to fool me, then you have been wrong!"

"Everything I say is true. Tell you what, I'm sure you don't have much time for your leader to stake out an outside existence, do you? I'm the same, I don't want to waste time on this unnecessary conversation. Just go ahead, pass on my message to your leader, I want to meet him to make a deal. Surely, this will benefit both sides, I can vouch for it."
