Chapter 4: The Great Mission After the Last Three Years

That night Mavis returned to the meeting hall to make new arrangements for her servants. This time only Mavis and her shadow creatures were present inside. The meeting was very closed, even if it said Yennefer and Reene were waiting for the emperor outside the room with the guard soldiers.

Sitting in a throne chair, witnessed by many pairs of eyes, Mavis suddenly groggy and involuntarily cleared his throat slowly. He glanced for a moment at Mikaela and found the beautiful figure smiling and nodding, hinting that it was time for Mavis to convey her purpose of gathering them.

The team will depart along with Mavis —, an exception for Akio and Giraldo who are assigned to pick up Zahard first and then follow.

Those who go: Buster, Mikaela, Isac, Moon, Star, Ozzi, Momongan, Ivar, Isabella, Merlin, Luna, and Bellatrix.

[Second Team]

Those who went: Samantha, Violet, Scott, Lily, Rosita, Smith, Kim, Itsuna, Rikai, Ajax, Frey, Becky and Becca.

[Third Team]

Mission: Go to the adventurer association and find out about their future plans to fight the sacred temple. In addition they go to search for information about a mysterious figure who recently sent a secret letter to Mavis. It was fine if the figure really only wanted to intend to help, though, it would be very dangerous if he also gave information about his vision to the other party — especially if he fell into the hands of the holy temple or other parties who have bad intentions and goals.

Those who went: Baroque, Weyan, Edd, Ash, and Sebastian.

While the rest like Wed, Ezekiel, Flint, Sera, Houdabor and the others would stay behind to guard the imperial territory. At least with those who remain in the capital, Mavis will not worry if there is a bad possibility there will be an attack from outsiders. Yennefer will also stay behind to keep his identity a secret. For now the woman could only hide inside the empire because Mavis herself was still not strong enough to protect her.
