THE LORD OF THE OTHER WORLD

Chapter 1: Welcoming the Chaos of the Continent

Standing in the middle of a sea of beautiful flowers, the long-haired beauty smiled as she welcomed the arrival of a man. Dressed in plain white T-shirts, with an untied strap on the typical chest of a noble, the man came along with several other figures. He smiled and walked closer. Upon arrival the man took a distance of about two meters in front of him, the dimpled girl immediately gave a salute while greeting her master.

"Greetings, Emperor Mavis. Visiting so early, could there be something you need?" yennefer said in a soft tone, then he smiled.

"I got information from Sol last night in the northern continent. The Beast Kingdom has invaded a quarter of the territory and is now expanding its power towards the Baratajaya Kingdom."

Mavis walks slowly with Yennefer in unison, enjoying the sunny morning atmosphere and the soothing views of the flower garden. Yennefer's face turned sour as his gaze fell upon the earth's floor. In his mind began to cross back the people from the sacred temple who started to craze. Well, over the past three years they have begun to move openly to take over all the kingdoms affected by his rule.

For example, the Kingdom of Mori, the Kingdom of Ephraim, and the Kingdom of Jianheeng which in that year suffered a major setback due to the defeat of the war, the holy temple swiftly sent many messengers to take over the power of the three kingdoms. Of course the holy temple replaced the face of the new king with the leadership of their people.

"The peace you want, I'm afraid it won't last long if I still stay in this place." He put a complicated expression on his face, smiling, even though inside he felt a tightness. "I shouldn't have been in this place in the first place. Sooner or later they will come and find me. You will only get into big trouble if you keep me in this place. You clearly know, the men of the holy temple will never let me go."

Mavis paused for a moment and flipped Yennefer's body to the side, so that now the two were facing each other. He stared fixedly at the beautiful woman, and found an uneasiness in the look on her face. Three years of living side by side with him, however, was enough time for this little emperor to know clearly what his woman thought.

"Look in my eyes, do I look like a loser in your eyes?" Mavis momentarily put on a serious face, trying to show the firmness that emanated from a real man. Just shortly after, Mavis chuckled, grabbed Yennefer and took him back to walk. "What kind of man can't even protect his woman?"

"You're asking or mocking me? Stop saying it's as if I'm going to marry his daughter. I don't think Princess Judh would like to hear that either. Just imagining how his face when angry, his gaze would be so deep as to eat you alive."

"You're pretty good about your ex."

The two continued to talk, without them realizing they had walked far enough and arrived in front of the meeting hall. There already stood Becky and Becca who guarded the door of the room, both of them pay their respects to welcome the master. Mavis just nodded and continued walking with Yennefer entering the room, followed by five other shadow creatures namely Sera, Ozzi, Akio, Moon, and Star.

Being in the room was a neat row standing on either side, saluting as Mavis walked past them towards her throne. The shadow creatures standing around the room quietly sent greetings over the telepathic connection to their master. Samantha looks under the stairs, smiles, then steps aside to make way for Mavis.

"Welcome, Sir." Standing right beside the throne chair, Mikaela sent out the best smile. Mavis replied with a nod and smiled. He felt a sense of joy as he circulated his gaze, looking towards the surroundings of the meeting hall room. All the eyes of the audience who were in that place were fixed on him, looking sincere and full of respect. Be it the leader of the human race, goblins, or dwarves.

For a moment he glanced at Yennefer who was standing beside him, on a different side to Mikaela. After that, he opened the conversation. "Alright, we can start the meeting.
