THE LORD OF THE OTHER WORLD
Chapter 39: Violet and Scott Return

The next day as dawn began to break, Violet and Scott had returned from the mission and had come to enter the meeting camp. The atmosphere became tense as soon as Violet advanced and began to convey the results of her findings.

"Before we moved away, from a distance we caught a swarm of pitch-black smoke filling the sky. Not so close, but not so far. It kept moving at a constant speed and continued to follow the direction we went towards to this place," Violet said with her serious face. He himself did not really know what it was. However, he was convinced that it was definitely not a good sign.

"We prepare ourselves soon. My premonition of saying that they are an army of crows that appeared within my domain of vision, it was faintly visible just a moment ago. It's not so clear, but I'm sure the crow's leader has some kind of close relationship with the wolf army chief" Samantha said.

I don't know what kind of relationship it is, whether it's good or bad. Samantha could only interpret the contents of her head to that extent. He guessed that the leader of the crows had realized something had happened to the wolf leader. Therefore, he must have come to bring the main army to check the state of this place.

After a brief conversation inside the meeting room, the shadow creatures immediately went to carry out their respective duties. Without needing to be given command, they basically already knew about what they were supposed to do. No exception to Becky and Becca who went straight to the camp to meet the elves.

Getting a sudden visit Becky in the morning certainly makes the group nervous. They began to wonder, why did he come to us so quickly? They begin to feel that something must be wrong here. And sure enough, as soon as Becky opened her voice, everything became so clear.

"Now, I will only give you two choices. Swear allegiance to the Master whom we serve and fight, or surrender now and die without pain."

In a matter of minutes, not knowing how fast the clash would be, they would be forced to follow the battle against the beast stronghold. It was the only way they could show that they had sworn allegiance to the same Master.

"We will gladly swear allegiance to the same Master, but we have one requirement" Neth said.

"You are not qualified to ask my Lord for something. However, if all you want is to finish off the holy temple people, then you don't have to worry because my Master is already determined to hunt them all down" Becky said.

Hearing Becky's words made their hearts beat fast, their fur on their feet stood up, and the soul fire within each of them flared up as it was so drifting in the atmosphere. Becky's words were not nonsense, an elf knew full well the determination Becky exuded was the truth, neither bad intentions nor lies.

Actually, they had lost hope when Becky said her first sentence, but after hearing the continuation, they suddenly became grateful.

They still have a chance! They were not stupid, let alone these elves who had intelligence above the average entities inhabiting the land. Being in their current group situation, the chance to get help from that powerful figure was an opportunity they should not miss! Perhaps it was the only way that they could get allies to fight the same enemy.

"Then we will prepare. Please rest assured, our group will definitely make a contribution on the battlefield" Neth said as she saluted Becky and Becca before the two left their group.

As well as the others, they also saluted the two strong figures. Becky and Becca, they will begin to remember the two as their superiors, allies they can count on.
