Chapter 9. Enter the Dungeon Again

Chapter 9

The next day Lewis and Aron returned to the Geophysics lab to continue the Dungeon's examination. This time his friends also brought more weapons. It could happen again yesterday. They don't know if there are any zombies there or not.

"May I come to the Dungeon?" ask Hilda.

It turned out that Armando and Gaby also wanted to go there and see what was in the world. They were curious about what Lewis had said yesterday.

"Not everyone can come. What if some zombie attacks come here?" Aron disagreed with their wishes.

So it was decided that Lewis and Hilda were the only ones to enter the Dungeon at this time. Aron also handed over a mouse in the cage to be taken there. And a video camera to record the situation there.

Hand in hand, Lewis and Hilda together stepped into the shadow of the mirage and just like yesterday, the two teenagers felt drawn by a great force.

Hilda felt what Lewis felt yesterday. However, he could still follow the young man wherever his feet stepped. Both of them pay attention to the surroundings while pointing the camera at various angles.

'What flowers, huh? The shape and color are beautiful, ' Hilda batik.

'These flowers are from vines, huh?' Lewis noticed the flower tree which was seen twisting some trees.

Lewis felt the mice in the cage moving wildly like a rampage. He and Hilda noticed the animal and turned like zombies.

"Hey, don't tell me that the guy came here and turned into a zombie when he came back to our world" Lewis said enthusiastically.

"Yes, it looks like the guy doesn't have immunity to viruses like us, like this rat. That's why it turned into a zombie" Hilda replied.

They decided to go back to the lab and tell me what was going on here. They have to move fast, so that something bad doesn't happen in their world.

Aron saw the rope connected to Lewis and Hilda move until dangling. So he hastily turned his tools so that their rope was pulled. Not long after that they returned. Hilda was shivering like Lewis yesterday. However, this time the young man came home fine. Of course this is Aron's concern again. Why this could happen.

"Dad, look at the rat turned into a zombie!" Lewis lifted the box that became the cage of the little animal.

Armando and Gaby walked into the room. They did not encounter a single zombie on this underground floor. 

The two of them were shocked when they saw the rat that turned into a zombie. Then, Armando exterminated the creature before stirring up and messing around.

"You'd better go back there and get some samples of water, soil, air, different kinds of plants. Want it part leaves, flowers, stems, or roots. We will do whatever research is contained in it," said Aron.

This time who entered the Dungeon was Lewis with Armando. The two young men brought several containers to take the samples requested by Aron.

Armando initially felt a tightness and pain in his chest once he got there. However, all of that was lost when he ran while avoiding a giant squirrel.

"We've gone too far" Lewis said as he couldn't go any further, because the rope was up.

"Yes. Why do I feel light now, huh? At the time of entry, it was very painful and heavy. What was the environmental adaptation?" ask Armando.

"That's possible. I feel that way too" Lewis replied.

They both turned around to go home. The two give Aron a code to help roll the strings of their world. Armando walked first and Lewis walked behind him.

When the moment was about to enter the connecting gate suddenly there was a giant tiger-shaped attacking Lewis and severing the rope in his stomach.

"Great!" Lewis's face looked terrified.

Armando who had entered the gate hole, now Lewis lives alone there. He continued running to dodge this savage beast attack. The tiger attacked Lewis using his sharp hooves. However, with all his might the young man ran. Fortunately, his body was getting stronger now. His running speed was also much faster than before.

"If I use a gun here it's okay, right?" lewis murmured.

In the young man's heart was afraid that something would happen if he was rash in acting. Lewis doesn't yet know the substance in the air here.
