Chapter 25. Besieged Hundreds of Zombies

Chapter 25

"Armando, you'd better break this door" Lewis said, backed by Gaby and Hilda.

Grprr! Grprr! Grprr!

There were zombies coming from behind them. Then simultaneously the four youths directed the flashlight to the sound source. The zombies ran towards them. There were a lot of them and Armando threw the JN23 bomb into their midst.

Boom up!

Graaaaw! Graaaaw! Graaaaw!

Many zombies were in pain and convulsing and then turned into ashes. However, there were still many zombies running and jumping towards the four of them. 

"Don't, use a bomb! Put on the bullet first" cried Lewis.

Dor's! Dor's! Dor's!

The zombies that were hit by the shot turned to ashes. While others began to attack with chairs scattered there. They threw it at Lewis and his friends.

"Hide away!" shouted Gaby who was panicking.

"Can't do it, stupid!" reply Armando while shooting the zombie that will pounce on Gaby.

Dor's! Dor's! Dor's!

The four of them shot at the zombies that were in the room. Now all is gone, not left.

"They're done?" Hilda felt relief.

"Don't know. You guys stay alert! There could still be zombies in this building" Lewis said.

The four of them aimed the flashlight at all directions to check whether there were still zombies or not. There was silence and darkness there.

"We're out now!" take Armando who is ready with a chair held in both hands. 

"Stttt! Listen carefully!" son of Aron and Maria.

Lewis felt that the zombies had not gone all out. Someone is still hiding. 

There was a sound of slurping from the top floor the sound of zombies. The longer it becomes clearer. In addition to the sound coming out of the zombie mouth, there was also the sound of people running.

Around hundreds of zombies ran towards them. Hilda immediately threw the JN23 bomb at the creature, then followed by Gaby after the bomb exploded.

Boom up! Boom up!

Graaaaw! Graaaaw! Graaaaw!

Some of the zombies held themselves at the top of the stairs not directly down. Of course it made the four teenagers wonder at each other in their hearts. Usually the zombies attack brutally without thinking. However, they were currently looking as if the creature was avoiding death or self-destruction.

"Is their brain working now?" ask Armando.

"Looks like. It's not like I used to say that there were some zombies like having a mind of their own and knowing what to do" Lewis replied.

The zombies are attacking them again. But not in groups as usual. They attacked one by one with quick and haphazard movements.

Dor's! Dor's!

"Blognal! The bullet missed!" baby Umpat.

Dor's!

Armando shot the zombie as it approached.

Brak! Brak! 

The sound of glass doors breaking down. The four teenagers spontaneously looked outwards. In front of the building was already surrounded by hundreds of zombies.

"Wine! How did this happen?" lewis's cry widened his eyes.

"Are we going to die today?" Armando could see more streets filled by the creature.

"How many are they? A hundred? Two hundred?" gaby asked with his pale face.

"I think there's so much more to it than that" Hilda replied with an expression of disbelief.
