Chapters 10. Animal Attacks In Dungeons

Chapter 10

Lewis doesn't know how to beat this beast. He just avoided not getting his scratches. He remembered that there was a knife in the bag that was carried. It was the only weapon he had. Then, with his courage the young man struck back as the tiger swung its front legs at him.

The wound given by Lewis was only a small scratch on the animal's leg. Now his brain continues to think how to beat his opponent. 

'Come, think! There must be a way to defeat this animal, Lewis said as he continued to avoid enemy attacks.

Lewis pulls the hardest stems from the vines. He pulled as hard as he could and snared the tiger's leg until it fell down. With all his might the man stuck a knife into the heart of his opponent. 

The tiger convulsed while loudly screeching let out his voice. Not long after that the animal died. The blood coming out of the animal's body was red mixed with black.

The exhausted Lewis could only sit still for a moment to recover his strength. He felt that there was something strange about this now dead animal in front of him. When he first came here, the behavior of animals was still ordinary even though the size was very large. However, this time the animal turned savage and uncontrollable.

'Is there anything that could cause an animal's behavior to turn violent, huh? Like turning humans into zombies, Lewis' inner gaze still led to the kind of dead.

After the energy recovered, Lewis was trying to find a way back to his world. He ran along with his instincts, so he could not remember which direction he had to take to get back. 

Armando, unaware that Lewis was left behind in the other world, is shocked when Aron asks where his son is. He was about to return to the Dungeon to find his friend, but was arrested by Aron.

"Now let it be Hilda and Gaby's turn to go in there. Your body looks very tired. Don't let anything unwanted happen to you" Aron said, patting Armando on the shoulder.

Hilda and Gaby entered the Dungeon hand in hand. The two girls are actually scared, but they have to save Lewis.

"Levy!" hilda and Gaby shouted as soon as they made it into that world.

"Lewis, where are you?" Hilda shouted while looking around her, as well as Gaby.

"The rope got here. But, the guy doesn't exist. I hope he's okay" said Gaby, crouching with the rope that tied Lewis earlier.

"Levy!" The sound of the two girls was so loud that it caused some birds on top of the tree branch to fly.

The wind generated by the flapping of the wings of the birds nearly blew away the bodies of the two. Hilda and Gaby's bodies crashed and crashed into the roots of a tree towering above the ground.

"Hilda!" There was the sound of someone calling one of the girls.

"Lewis, I'm here!" hilda shouted with a feeling of pleasure.

The people of El Dorado are starving because there is no food around them since yesterday. As they gave up, there was the sound of helicopter propellers. Seen from above there lowered some boxes containing food needs. Mary's friend returned to send food to them, after asking very pleading with her. 

The delivery of food makes them happy. At least they'll be able to last a week. The fishermen who used to look for fish to the sea have been turned into zombies, so they can not go to sea.

"When do we live like this?" A resident of El Dorado complained. It was not just one or two people complaining about their current state. The 70% of Artac Islanders have already turned into zombies within this month and a half. Only about 30% survive in fear.

Everyone has received the SS13 vaccine. They were given the vaccine three times a week. This makes some people who have been exposed to zombie attacks unchanged.

"Can you wipe out those zombies in a week's time?" mr. Mayor Adams Smith asked Lewis and his friends.

"It looks like it's going to be difficult. Unless the military also participated in the extermination," Maria replied. 

The middle-aged woman was annoyed that her son was always made bait. There are still military men who survived. Moreover, the task of maintaining the security of the territory and civilians is the duty of the military.

"of course. They were stationed in the western to eastern part of the island. I'm just asking your son and his friends to keep the people around the compound safe" said Mayor Adams Smith.

Lewis and his friends glanced at each other. They also go around every night to guard their living complex so as not to come to them.

"Mrs Walker, bad!" shouted one of the employees at the Biochemistry laboratory.

"What's wrong?" ask Maria.

"There was a zombie attack in the Biochemistry lab. They all turned into zombies, too" the man replied with disjointed breaths.

"What's? How could that possibly happen? They've all been given the SS13 vaccine!" 

Everyone in the living room at Lewis' house was aghast. They were all very surprised.
