Chapters 14. Dangerous Trees And Flowers

Chapter 14

Lewis and the others came back to the Geophysics lab as soon as the sun rose. They would re-enter the Dungeon in search of some other kind of plant. They hope that harmful substances in some plants can be neutralized.

"Now the four of you enter together. Here there are already some people from the military on guard," Aron said as soon as he entered the test room.

As soon as they entered the state of the room it looked a little different. They realize that. Then, Aron checked the state of the room what made it look different than usual.

"Is there someone who came into this room besides us?" ask Armando.

They still spread their eyes to all directions. Their feelings said that in the room there was a change, but did not know what.

"Let's go" replied Aron with eyes scanning all the equipment in the room.

"I feel the air in this room is almost similar to the world there," said Hilda while breathing air with her eyes closed.

Hearing the girl's words, everyone was shocked. Then, Aron checked using his tools. It was true what Hilda had said just now. There was a little foreign substance contained in the air that was inside the room. Just like the air in the world there, although the content of foreign substances is small.

"If the air conditions here are the same as the ones in the world there, then it would be dangerous. You remember the rats that were brought in there. The rat turned into a beast like a zombie" said Aron and of course the four young people still remember.

"We should immediately look for the plants that Daddy intended," said Lewis and his three friends were ready.

The four of them walked together as they entered the Dungeon. This time the rope that tied them was longer in order to look for a place further away.

Lewis looked around the forest that looked different from the previous one. Likewise, the air there feels crowded like dirty air in an industrial city. 

"I feel a bit claustrophobic" Gaby said as they walked a few steps from the gate hole.

"Yes, I feel the same way. What because of the spray from the pistil and stamens of the flower," said Hilda while pointing towards a beautiful flower was spitting something.

Lewis was reminded of this creeping tree. This tree was not around. He saw her far away from the gate hole. However, now the plant was creeping into the trees and approaching the gate hole.

"I think this is one of the causes of the compound content in the air of the test chamber is slightly changed" said Lewis.

"meaning?" armando asked, turning his back and facing Lewis.

"When I first saw this flower tree, it was very far from the gate hole. But, now this plant is creeping and drawing closer to the hole connecting this world with our world" Lewis replied and made his three friends surprised and worried. 

"It looks like this tree is the source of that danger. We'd better destroy it now" Armando and Gaby agreed.

There were birds flying above. Then one of the flowers spouted something out of her pistil. Not long after the bird turned into a bringas. The animal attacked other animals. Now in front of the four of them there is a spectacle like watching the life action of a fantasy film Jurassic Park. 

"How's this? What do we do now?" hilda asked, holding Lewis' hand.

"We'll tell Daddy first. Because it's much more dangerous here now" Lewis replied.

The four teenagers ran back to their world. Suddenly a zombie dog attacked Armando and at the same time Lewis fired a bullet of fire and fuel into the creature's body.

Graaaaw! Graaaaw!

The dog-shaped zombie body was the size of a normal dog in their world. They were just speechless to see the dog's zombie burn.

"Thank you so much," muttered Gaby with sullen eyes.

"really. But why is the size of the dog is small even compared to squirrels, larger squirrels on the tree," said Hilda.

Lewis and Armando looked at each other. They believe that the dog is an animal of their world. Not the real animals of this world.

"Did you realize it?" armando asked whispering to Lewis.

"Yes, now we know why things are different from the test room. Someone must have come into the room and this dog entered this world, so he turned into a zombie. Unlike the original animal that was exposed to powder from the flower it changed like a mutant instead of a zombie" Lewis replied.

The situation in the world is increasingly insecure. They go back to their world to report this and find the best solution.

"Come, we're back!" take Lewis.

The four teenagers immediately ran towards the entrance to their world. However, when the gate was seen there was a lion attacking them. Even Lewis and Armando were thrown when hit by the wagging tail.

"Levis! Armando!" hilda and Gaby shouted at the same time.

"We're okay. You guys go back to the lab first. Report what we see here. Don't let the powder get into our world!" shouted Lewis.

Hilda and Gaby must return to their world. Do not let the situation in their world get more chaotic with the entry of harmful substances. However, about several tens of meters to the gate, the lion had already stood in front of the two girls.

"Wine. Did we fight this thing first?" ask Gaby to Hilda.
