Chapters 17. New Dungeon

Chapter 17

"Hey, look at this!" said one of the young men who was in the control room.

"What's wrong?" ask one of his friends.

The five youths approached his friend who was standing near the wall. They were curious about what he said. There is a mirage in there.

"This what?" ask the big tall boy.

"Come on," replied the young man who first noticed the oddity.

The big tall young man had touched the Dungeon and his hand was translucent into it. The rest of the friends stared in amazement and could not believe what they were seeing.

"Is this a gate to another world or somewhere else in this world?" ask partner.

"No idea" replied the big tall young man.

The six young men felt interested in going in there. They also stepped into the Dungeon that became the source of the catastrophe on Artac Island.

Armando went around the building to make sure there were no zombies there. He saw a door open on one of the underground floors. The young man walked slowly, feeling suspicious of the room.

"No one" muttered Armando as he entered. He walked out of the room and closed the room. This young man did not know that there were currently six young men entering the Dungeon.

Just a few steps after Armando left the control room, he again intended to turn off the lights in the room. When he turned off the room there was a greenish-blue light on the right wall of the room.

Armando's heart was racing. He hoped that what he saw was just an illusion or delusion of himself. However, the closer he got to the sighting the more obvious it became. Armando's eyes seemed out of place seeing all this.

"Oh my God, why did the Dungeon appear here as well? Goddamn it!" 

Armando quickly contacted Aron and the mayor. However, the place can no longer be used as a fortress for citizens, now. He will also ask Hilda and Gaby to stand guard without scaring the residents who are in the building. Meanwhile, he was on guard in the underground floor afraid that there were creatures from within the Dungeon coming out from there.

"What's up, Dad? Why is your face so pale?" lewis asked as soon as Aron turned off the phone call just now.

"The situation's getting messy, Lewis. A new Dungeon appeared in the basement of the power plant building," replied Aron.

Maria and Lewis who heard that were immediately aghast. They know that the building is a hiding place for the citizens of El Dorado at this time, because the state of the city is now getting a zombie attack that amounts to very much.

"How did that happen? What was the cause of the Dungeon's appearance there?" lewis asked with a panicked expression. He remembered the lover who came to keep the citizens from zombie attacks.

"I don't know what can make a Dungeon appear? Or how could a Dungeon appear there?" Aron felt his head getting sicker.

Maria knew that for several months her husband was lacking rest and was too self-imposed. Aron feels to be the one responsible for eliminating zombies on this Artac island. Everyone was still resting and hoping for him a lot. 

Researching plants is not really the world or the expertise of Aron. However, that doesn't mean he's okay about life science. Since dating Maria he often listened and accompanied the lover to learn so he knew about it.

Maria told Lewis to go to the power plant alone with about 100 capsules filled with liquid from their invention just now. Aron's state does not allow to go there.

Lewis got in the car and saw how chaotic the city is today. Now the time shows at 03:00 in the morning, there are still about 3 hours of sunrise.

A lot of zombies are stuck in the street, Lewis is trying to ignore them. The young man just hit all the zombies that were in the way, because the circumstances in the power plant building were now in a precarious state. 

The thing that Lewis was afraid of was that the people who were hiding there turned into zombies because of the Dungeon that suddenly appeared there. 

Grprr! Grprr! Grprr!

"You're just interrupting!" Lewis hit a bunch of zombies.

"Wah .. wow! It won't be easy to get through." Lewis was surrounded by so many zombies that his car could not move. Inevitably he also threw fire bombs at the zombie horde.

Graaaaw! Graaaaw! Graaaaw!

The creature screamed as their bodies were wrapped in a huge blaze. Lewis did not waste this opportunity as the zombies moved away from the burning zombies. At full speed the young man returned to drive his car.

The six youths entered the Dungeon without any preparation. They have received the SS13 vaccine from Maria several times. They stared in amazement at what was in that other world.

"Everything here is gigantic. Which country is this?" ask one of them.

"It seems that we are in another world, because on earth there have never been any birds of that size," the other replied pointing at a bird on a tree branch.

Everyone who was there was very surprised to see the size of the birds and squirrels on the other branches. They were getting closer to the vines that had beautiful red flowers.

"See these flowers are beautiful. It seems that on earth there is nothing like this" said the young man of great height.

"Have you ever traveled around the world?" another said, everyone laughed.

One of the flowers near them gushed and hit the bodies of the young men, then some inhaled through the respiratory tract. They coughed at the blast.

"We're back, yuk!" ask one of them because they feel dizzy.

"Here seems to be safer than in El Dorado" one of his friends replied and was justified by another.

Not until five minutes, they feel hot body and breath tightness. One of them had convulsions followed by the other. Their bodies one by one fell to the ground and were unconscious.

When everyone was asleep upstairs, the door of the control room underground opened violently. It was seen that the young men were running around in a state that had turned into zombies. Armando, Hilda, and Gaby are unaware of the new zombies in the building.

The zombies climbed up the stairs to leave the basement. They bump into each other when they come out the door. They kept walking towards the top floor.

Grprr! Grprr! Grprr!
