Chapters 11. Zombie Attacks In Biochemical Laboratories

Chapter 11

Aiden was shocked when he heard the usual sound coming out of the zombie mouth. It is still midday and there are no zombies in the Biochemistry lab. But now he could hear that voice.

"What's up, sir?" ask the assistant.

"There's zombies?" Aiden was trying to peek through the door.

"How possible. This place is already safe from zombies," replied the man who was wearing a Biochemical lab coat while coming closer to the door.

As soon as the door opened it turned out to be a lot of zombies there. Their colleagues who were making the vaccine in the laboratory room all turned into zombies.

"What's this about? How could they turn into zombies?" Aiden was flabbergasted when he saw that some of his coworkers who were still fine had now turned into zombies.

Aiden and his assistant ran for their lives. They could not run anywhere anymore because they were surrounded.

"Sir, how is this? We have no weapons to defeat them!" the assistant panicked.

Aiden also doesn't know what to do now. He thought about how to survive the building. Both run down the stairs. There are some zombies there.

"Is there a door that opens until the zombies can get into this building?" aiden asked as he saw the zombies there wearing ordinary citizen clothes.

"I don't know, sir," the assistant replied as he ran towards the door following Aiden.

Now they're on the first floor. However, the number of zombies there was overwhelming. Aiden also smashed the glass that was there. The assistant followed by breaking the glass using a chair. Sometimes the chair is also used to attack the approaching zombies.

A lot of sunlight came into the room. Aiden and the assistant stood in a place illuminated by the sunlight.

There are zombies who are their co-workers. The zombie approached Aiden, the male's eyes widened as the creature was not destroyed even under the direct sun. The zombies attacked Aiden. Fortunately he was wearing a special suit behind the lab coat worn by him.

"Sir!" The Assistant shouted because he could not believe what he saw. 

Zombies from people who have received the SS13 vaccine are stronger and longer lasting even in direct sunlight. Aiden also told his assistant to come to Maria who was arranging the distribution of food for the residents of the city of El Dorado. Then, he was told to tell about all the events that exist in the Biochemistry laboratory today.

Aiden himself went to the military headquarters to ask for help there by carrying weapons of zombie destruction. This must be dealt with as soon as possible because the zombies in the Biochemistry laboratory are more powerful and ferocious compared to other stationed zombies. Don't let that thing spread in the city tonight.

Lewis and his friends came to the Biochemistry lab with a lot of weapons. They're doing a zombie extermination in that building. According to what the assistant said. Zombies that were once vaccinated were more powerful and fierce.

"Hopefully we don't make us break the law" Lewis said.

"Now is not the time to speak the law" Armando replied.

Hilda and Gaby just silently watched the two young men clash their mouths. They often argue about unnecessary things.

"We'd better get out of here!" bring Hilda.

"Yes, you're right. If you guys still want to live, we need to get out of here right away" Gaby continued, drawing Armando's hand.

The state of the Biochemistry laboratory that is vulnerable to fire, let alone a very large fire, triggers some materials in the laboratory to evaporate and cause fire. 

"Run fast!" lewis shouted to friends. 

The Biochemistry laboratory is currently experiencing a major fire. The flammable and explosive chemicals left the building engulfed by flames.

Some of the military men and Aiden who had just arrived there, were shocked by the sight before their eyes. He saw Lewis and his friends, so he knew what had happened there.

Some people came from behind the building. They are people who are immune to zombies. Even though it was armed by the military. They are suspected of being infected. So they are in midfield to an area of the field and are exposed directly to sunlight. After an hour they still remained human and did not turn into zombies, all were released.

At night Lewis and Gaby turn around to eradicate the zombies with some military men. They are in charge from 19:00 until 23:00 next there will be a shift change.

Lewis and his friends hunt zombies every night and during the day the exercises increase their strength and fighting abilities. It sometimes helps in giving vaccines.

Maria and Aiden reexamined the vaccine they had made en masse. They fear there is a mistake in the making. Because there are people who are immune and there are also those who are not.

Meanwhile, Professor Enzo examines the body parts of the zombie that he and Maria had taken for investigation. Indeed, many foreign viruses are found in the skin or flesh of the zombie.

Likewise, Aron is busy researching the things that Lewis and Armando brought from the other world. They were all fighting to survive and annihilate their enemies and fears.

"When does this end, huh?" Lewis was tired.

"If this is all over, do you want me to take you somewhere?" Hilda looked at Lewis.
