Chapter 4. Ss13 vaccine

Chapter 4

Television is now showing the latest news. Reporters told that the situation in the outskirts of El Dorado had changed like a village of death. That place had already turned into a field turning humans into zombies. Video footage of zombies attacking citizens and then they changed, very much visible.

"Wine! How did the zombies get out of the lab area?" Aron muttered as he grabbed his hair.

Lewis who saw the news felt fear again. He had a chance to watch directly before his eyes as they all changed and shattered.

"What is the central commandment yet to give the rock?" asked Maria in annoyance.

It should be a major disaster and the central government should intervene immediately. However, news of the attention from the center to deal with the matter has not been heard.

The house phone rang and Aron picked up the call. He spoke for a moment then glanced at Maria and gave the code.

Lewis who did not understand anything just kept quiet while watching his mother immediately pulled out a gun and some lead bullets and a special gun to shoot a bullet that contained a certain liquid.

"Lewis, we're getting ready to go to Professor Enzo's house, now!" maria orders while putting some of her belongings into a backpack.

The young man picked up a jacket and cell phone that was in the cas. There was nothing else he would carry besides that.

After locking the Walker family residence, they boarded the car and rushed to the hills. They will hold important meetings with some members to discuss the problems that are going on on this small island.

Elsewhere, Armando and Aiden were trying to fight against the five zombies that were approaching towards them. They no longer have weapons.

"Dad, I divert them and Daddy goes get the car later I'll ride" Armando said, giving the idea.

Armando ran fishing for the movement of the zombies. Meanwhile, Aiden ran towards his vehicle. Armando ran as hard as he could to avoid being caught by the zombies.

Aiden had already successfully started the car and drove his vehicle towards Armando running. He then honked and hit the creatures.

"Ride up!" the orders of Aiden and Armando who were out of breath immediately entered the car.

The young man's breath hunted while looking towards the back where the zombies that almost bit him earlier stood back up after being hit. Armando saw there was a scratch from his hand that had been hit by a zombie attack earlier. The wound is hot and itchy. Something strange happened to his body. The blood on the wound instantly dried up and covered the scratch wound. The peeled skin and flesh that had been seen finally closed back.

Adrian who saw it was very frightened that he would also turn into a zombie. Then, in the lyrics of the father who was driving at high speed.

"Dad," call Armando to tell him what happened just now to his body.

"Don't disturb the concentration of the daddy while driving like this" Aiden said without looking at his son.

The two men of different generations drove the car towards the city center. On the streets they get attacks from zombies. Aiden hit all the zombies that were blocking the speed of his vehicle.

Armando's face was so pale when a zombie jumped onto the windshield of the car. He clearly saw the face of the creature.

Aiden did not know that Maria was not at home. Communication that is not intertwined in times of chaotic situations like this even makes people so do not know there is latest information.

Some people were gathered in a house that had hills. They were discussing why there could be zombies and what could cause those people to turn into zombies. In addition, why zombies can be destroyed by the light of sunlight.

"There's one thing I want to talk to all of you about. He's Gaby, he was bitten by a zombie, but he didn't turn into a zombie. Why is there such a thing? What do you think about right now?" 

"Gaby?" call Lewis.

Everyone's attention now turned to Lewis. They were class mates at school. 

"If it's about being bitten by a zombie and not changing, I'm also having things like that" Lewis said as he scanned the people in the room.

Obviously everyone was shocked, including Aron and Maria. All day they were together, but their son did not say anything and did not show any strange signs.

"How did that happen?" ask Aron who still does not believe.

Lewis told him what had happened. How could he be bitten by a zombie, then how the loss of scratches and bites on his body.

"Professor Enzo, have you ever given Gaby the SS13 vaccine?" tanya Maria mentioned the vaccine made by their team that they used to make together.

Professor said that Gaby accidentally drank the liquid that was exchanged with her juice drink. However, the girl did not show any strange symptoms.

Maria could immediately conclude that Gaby and Lewis' bodies could be immune to it because of the SS13 vaccine. She often puts the liquid into her family's food and drinks. Especially Lewis who rarely sports and is afraid it will be easy to fall ill.

There was a commotion in front of the professor's house. Aiden is seen tying Armando up for fear of turning into a zombie.

"What's this?" ask the professor as the host.

Aiden also told what had happened to his son who had been bitten by zombies. He was afraid that Armando would turn into such a creature as well.

"Where do I see the body parts bitten by zombies!" pinta Mary.

There was a red mark on Armando's hand. Unlike Lewis who is smooth without leaving a mark. 

"You just calm down. Armando won't turn into a zombie. You also gave her the SS13 vaccine for your son, right?" Maria knows this.

Now they are conducting blood and organ tests on the three young boys in Professor Enzo's laboratory. They wanted to know why their bodies could be immune to this zombie virus. Then, what is true because the SS13 vaccine that was ever given to them.

"If the SS13 vaccine could provide strong immunity to humans, that would be good. We can mass-produce this vaccine because the formula of the SS13 vaccine is still there" Professor Enzo said.

"I hope this SS13 vaccine can save a lot of lives. I see a lot of people who have turned into zombies" said Aiden look frustrated.

Unlike the others, Aron is more interested in finding out where the origin of this zombie virus appears. Then, how to destroy this virus so as not to spread again.

Lewis, Armando, and Gaby are class mates. They know each other even if they are not close friends. The three of them also told about the experience they had experienced when meeting zombies.

"I'm so scared. Especially when a servant suddenly lunged and bit my neck," said Gaby with a still frightened expression she glanced at Armando who was considered a strong person and would be able to protect him.

Lewis saw someone running in the yard and headed home. Behind him were some zombies chasing after him.

"Please!" yell that guy.
