Chapter 13

There is no choice but to visit some of the dead villages or the suburbs of El Dorado. Lewis and his three friends decided to look for food in supermarkets or abandoned shops. They also carry many weapons to exterminate the zombies if the creatures come attacking.

The first store they went to only got a small amount of groceries as many were damaged and out of date. They went to the second shop. Fortunately, there they got a lot of food.

"We mark first whichever store we have taken the goods. Let's not get into the same place tomorrow," Armando said as he loaded the goods into the truck.

"really. We can enter one more shop, it's still noon. Hopefully in the next store there is also a lot of food available," said Gaby and Lewis agreed.

After the previous two stores there were no zombies, in the third store they got a lot of zombies gathered there. The four of them were shocked when they saw so many creatures.

Grrrr! Grprr!

"Great, we'd better end the food quest right here!" lewis shouted while pulling Hilda's hand.

Armando pulled Gaby's hand and one of his hands held a fire bomb. He threw the firebomb at Lewis. 

Boom up! Boom up!

Graaaaw!! Graaaaw!

The four young men ran down the stairs. While on the first floor the zombies sprung up behind the dark shadows as a lot of sunlight entered on the front of the shop.

"Is the fire bomb still there?" ask Armando to run ahead with Gaby.

"I have one" replied Hilda who ran behind with Lewis.

"I have two" replied Gaby.

"good. Now throw one first" said Armando.

Gaby gave Lewis a firebomb. This is because the young man can throw strongly and can estimate which point can produce a big explosion, and kill many zombies.

Boom up!

Graaaaw! Graaaaw!

The bomb exploded in the middle of the gathering part of the creature, so many zombies died of large fire grills. The four of them continued running towards the entrance.

"Are they having a joke now, huh? If they used to split irregularly anywhere. However, now they are gathering somewhere in large numbers" Lewis said with a intermittent breath.

The four teenagers got into the truck. Although not full, but a lot of food they get today. Armando who was driving the truck and accompanied Gaby sat in front. Meanwhile, Lewis and Hilda sat at the back.

The desolate and arid dead village became their current sight. However, if the night will be crowded by zombies. Fortunately, this place is far from where they live today.

"It's not just food that's a problem right now. The weapons are also over. Fuel is already very thin. Fire bombs can also no longer be made, because of the unavailability of raw materials. Firewood has also not allowed us to cut down more young trees" the military general said.

Everyone listening to the report was getting more and more anxious. Because they don't know how to destroy the zombies later.

"Is there a solution to this?" mayor Adams Smith asked everyone present.

The military representative told him the only way was to catch or trap the zombies in the open. Then, they will be destroyed by the heat of the sun in the morning or afternoon. That's all they can think of right now.

It turns out that there are many substances that do not exist in our world. I found one of the substances that can make animals turn into zombies. Actually the military has also proposed some people to enter the Dungeon, but Aron said not everyone can enter there can be strong. It could be that they would turn into zombies like the first person to enter the Dungeon, first.

Lewis and his friends glanced at each other. Everyone thought they were all okay. Though the four teenagers must often check their bodies lest they can turn into zombies without them knowing.

"Then quickly find a way to neutralize the substance!" mayor Adams Smith's.
