The First Heir (First Heir)

The First Heir (First Heir)
chapter 9

At the front desk, Rose waved the card as she glanced at Philip arrogantly before saying, "Help me check if this card can reserve a private room for us."

Everyone held their breaths, waiting to see Philip humiliate himself.

The girl at the front desk received the card, swiped it, and suddenly, her expression looked nervous. He asked, "Miss, is this your card?"

When Rose saw this, she shook her head. Stretching out her hands with her nails painted red, she pointed at Philip, who was being surrounded and laughed mockingly. "That's not mine. It's his." Ha ha! What joke! Philip would humiliate himself, and Wynn would lose face with him! This is too great. There was actually a man who would openly make fun of himself.

Rose is dying of happiness. He glanced happily at Wynn who looked scowled and scoffed, "Vice Manager Johnston, your husband is truly an incredible man."

Wynn is so embarrassed. He glared at Philip, ready to reprimand him when the girl at the front desk suddenly ran out. He then stood respectfully in front of Philip and said very politely, "Master, you are a platinum member of our restaurant. There is a special room reserved for you. Please follow me."

The mocking snicker around them immediately stopped!

It all happened too suddenly!

Everyone can't regain their senses.

What the hell's going on? Special room...?

Rose was the first to speak, agitated as she pointed at Philip and nagged, "Hey, hey, hey, are you wrong? He's a platinum member of your restaurant?"

"Look closer. He's a delivery guy. A man remains! How did he become a platinum member?"

Gavin was shocked too. He had prepared a lot of sarcasm, ready to be let go! But Philip's sudden admission to platinum made him careless that he felt a lump stuck in his throat.

Wynn was looking at the female staff, confused, and then turned to look at Philip. Is her husband a platinum member in Virtuous Court? He had just heard from Gavin that regular membership required a million annual expenditures. Does that not mean that platinum membership will cost at least a few million?

The female staff smiled politely and said, "I'm not wrong. This is a platinum card, and our restaurant only issues eight cards where each cardholder has a private room specially reserved for them."

"Wow!" Crowd jerking. One private room for each cardholder! This is a service suitable for a king! Is this...is still Wynn's poor husband?

"Master, here's your card. Please follow me," the staff said respectfully.

Philip picked up the card then looked at the crowd staring wide-eyed and gritted his teeth at him. He explained, "It's not mine, it belongs to my company boss. I'm just here to make a reservation."

Phew! Upon hearing Philip's explanation, Gavin and Rose heaved a sigh of relief. So, it was just a jobbery case, taking his boss card to put in front. Damnit damnit! Rose's knees even became weak from shock.

Gavin looked at Philip angrily then sneered, "And here I wonder why, so it's just a dishonest advertisement."

Hearing this, the others giggled. But, since the room was already booked, it was a pity not to use it.

Philip did not explain. He simply said to Wynn weakly, "Take them to dinner. I'll be back first." Then, without waiting for Wynn to persuade him to stay, Philip had already walked out of Virtuous Court with the painting box in his hand.

Although Wynn felt bad, he could not resist the urging of his comrades, and they followed the staff into a private room.

Gavin and Rose naturally did not enjoy this dinner too much because it was only made possible by Wynn's useless husband.

Moments after Philip left Virtuous Court. He received a short message from Wynn: Thank you.

Philip looked at her and smiled, replying: No problem.

Philip still feels guilty about Wynn. He was actually the heir to the largest consortium in the world, but since he was unwilling to inherit the family business, he came to Riverdale City to experience poverty.

So, when is he gonna tell Wynn about this? Maybe after a while.

After renting a bicycle, Philip headed to the hospital.

On the way there, as Philip turned right, a motorcycle came at high speed!

The buzzing sound of a motorcycle engine rang out in his ears, and in an instant, Philip felt a gentle breeze beside him as the motorcycle turned right. After the sound of a collision, the rider and the bike fell onto the grass beside the road.

"Oh no!" Philip threw away his bike and rushed to see if the passenger of the bike was injured.

A man and a woman climbed up from the grass. The woman's black skirt was torn by the tree branches and she looked frightened. The man placed his hand on his waist as he shouted, "Are you trying to kill yourself? F*ck!"

Philip quickly apologized, "I'm sorry, I didn't see you there. Are you guys all right? Do you want to go to the hospital? I'll change the bike."

Upon hearing this, the man exploded in anger and began to scold Philip. "This is Harley-Davidson Sportster Iron 883 Custom! It cost two hundred grand! Can you pay for it?"

The man laughed sarcastically before pushing Philip furiously. "You think you have a lot of money? Three hundred grand? Can you pay? What are you fucking for?!"

Philip staggered back from the push. He frowned and said, "You're the one who broke the red light. I'm good enough not to argue with you about that, don't force it!"

Philip was not wrong to turn right. The driver was just trying to break through the red light. If they make sense, it's the driver's fault.

"You said I ran a red light? With which eyes do you see it?" The biker suddenly exploded and roared.

Just then, the girl behind him finally regained consciousness. He took off his helmet, looked at Philip, and chanted, "Why are you here?"

Philip looked to the source of the voice to realize that the girl was Lynn Johnston!

The atmosphere instantly became awkward.

"Brother Jacob, don't just let go of him!" Lynn shouted out loudly.

This man is Jacob Wells, the son of a rich man.

As Philip looked at Lynn, feeling a little doubtful, Jacob pointed at Philip's nose and asked Lynn, "Do you know him?"

Lynn nodded, glaring at Philip. "My cousin-in-law's sister, but we're not close. He's a mistress."

"Damn! A man being nurtured is trying to be pretentious in front of me? Are you tired of living?" Jacob scolded before mocking Philip, saying, "Well then, didn't you say you would compensate three hundred thousand dollars? Pay up!"

A disdainful grin appeared on Lynn's cold expression. Three hundred grand? Huh! Where would a useless trash like Philip find three hundred thousand?

Philip originally wanted to pay, but now he did not want to. "I don't feel that way anymore because you guys are breaking the red light."

If Lynn wasn't here, Philip would probably pay to settle the matter calmly. But now, he can't do it.

Lynn laughed coldly. "Haha! I thought you had no money. Didn't you do very well before? Why retreat now?"

Jacob roared, "Three hundred thousand! Pay or I'll call some people."

Call some people? Philip was not afraid.

"Call them then," Philip said calmly.

"Alright, you tough brat! Don't run away in shock later!" he threatened Jacob and pointed to Philip. The first one then pulled out his phone to make a phone call, sounding furious as he said, "Sister Kyle, take some people to Silverstone!"

After hanging up the phone, Jacob looked straight at Philip and said, "My brother will be here soon. Be prepared to beg."

Philip looked indifferent. No one knows what he's thinking.

She finally sighed helplessly and pulled out her phone to call Agnes Summer. "Agnes, take some people to Silverstone. The more, the better!"

As soon as he hung up the phone, Jacob practically split his side with laughter. "Haha! You called someone too? It's hilarious! Okay, let me see who you got."

Lynn just watched quietly on one side. Philip had looked at him a few times now, making him uncomfortable.

What did Philip think? She, of course, thought that Wynn's really great cousin could change girlfriends so quickly. He had to tell Wynn so he could send his cousin to school. If he doesn't study at a young age, he will get into trouble in the future.

At Gopher Delivery Services, Agnes immediately spread the news after getting a call from Philip.

In an instant, all the delivery officers in the city under the Gopher Delivery Service boarded up to their standard red scooter, wearing their bright red vest and helmet, and passed through the streets and alleys, towards Silverstone! From the aerial view, it looked like countless red dots were moving slowly to gather at Silverstone.

Returning to Philip's side, the people called Jacob were already here.

Four Harley Davidsons! There were eight people, a mix of men and women, all wearing stylish biker outfits, looking very cool and fashionable.

They drove away with the deafening buzzing sound of their bikes. Their leader was a man 1.8 meters tall and handsome. He's polished, sports buzz pieces, and is very handsome.

"Jacob, what's wrong? Your vehicle's broken." Kyle Lyon stepped in irritatingly with his group behind him. He glanced over and Philip, easily figuring out the situation. "You did this?" Kyle asked in a deep voice while looking at Philip.

Philip remained silent.

"Sister Kyle, here he is! Don't let him think of leaving without coughing three hundred thousand!" Jacob calls from the background.
