Today is Saturday. Wynn got up early in the morning to start putting on makeup in the bathroom.
Philip came out of the bedroom to persuade his daughter, who was making a fuss. "Isn't this your day off? Why are you getting up so early?" Philip held his daughter as he stood at the bathroom door and asked.
Wynn answered without looking at him. "I have to go back to the office today and meet the client in the afternoon." He then looked at himself, left and right in the mirror. She put on her lipstick, then pursed her lips.
This woman is so beautiful. Even with thin makeup, she remained charming like a fairy.
Wynn passed Philip, hurriedly picked up his bag and put on his high heels. "Oh, right. Go to the gallery today to help my father. Let Lynn take care of Mila. I told him last night. He'll be home at about ten."
"Go back early, Ma." Little Mila was still in Philip's arms as she waved towards Wynn with her sweet and pretty little arms. Dimples appeared on her tiny cheeks as she smiled innocently.
Wynn is in a hurry, getting ready to go. When she heard the soft word 'Mama', she kissed Mila's cheek before reluctantly leaving.
Before he left, he reminded Philip, "Don't forget to help my father."
Philip replied, "Understand me. Come back soon."
Standing before the door of their small seventy-square-foot house, Philip watched Wynn leave. Philip lovingly patted Mila's tiny head and said, "Play with Papa."
"OK, Papa! I'm going on a horse." Little Mila waved happily.
This little house is the lair of Philip and Wynn. The renovation was simple because they did not have much money back then. Philip has taken the money to start the business. Although the business failed, they still had a house, a house. But this house is now in danger of being torn apart.
After staying with Mila for about two hours, the doorbell rang. The door opened to show Lynn standing there haughtily with thick makeup. He pushed Philip aside as he entered. The girl was wearing very short leather pants and a black lace top.
Isn't this a little overdone? Are young girls dressed sexy nowadays?
Without waiting for Philip to speak, Lynn had already gone inside and flopped down on the sofa. He first glared at Mila, who was playing with her toy on one side, then he glared at Philip in annoyance. "I'll only stay for two hours. I've made plans with my classmates for this afternoon."
Philip smiled shyly and took out the snacks he had prepared like he was persuading his great-grandmother. "I'll be right back." Philip then walked towards Mila, who looked slightly frightened. He crouched down to pat his head and smiled. "Mila, Papa's coming out. You stay with Aunt and be a good girl, okay?"
Little Mila nodded, glancing at Lynn, who was watching TV while eating chips. The little girl then took a small step to hand the toy in her hand to Lynn, saying in a childish voice, "Auntie, this is for you to play with."
Lynn looked at him with a scornful look without taking the toy and then said coldly, "Play it yourself."
A few minutes later, Philip came out. Only Lynn and Mila are left inside the house. The two girls, one adult, the other a child, were not connected in any way. Lynn keeps complaining to her boyfriend about having to take care of the bad boy through video calls. As Mila ran around the house, Lynn would yell at her. When Mila wants a drink, Lynn tells Mila to take it herself. When Mila broke her glass, Lynn got up and kicked her, yelling, "Little scoundrel! Your father's trash, and you too! You can't even get a glass of water!"
She started crying because she complained. When Lynn sees him crying, she becomes more agitated. He went and slapped Mila several times on her tiny face, scolding viciously, "If you keep crying, I'll sell you! B*tch!"
Mila pursed her lips. Her sad eyes were filled with tears while her tiny cheeks were swollen red. He muttered, "Papa, I want Papa."
Lynn gets tired of listening to him and locks Mila alone in her room.
Poor Mila patted the door and cried, "I want Papa, I want Mama..." After half an hour of crying, little Mila was tired and fell asleep in bed.
Lynn was enjoying a video call in the living room. "I don't think I can do it today. There's a shitty little bastard who needs to be taken care of."
"can't. We're all waiting for you here. Bring the bad boy. It's okay." At the other end of the screen was Jacob in the karaoke room.
"All right, I'll be there soon." Lynn happily ended the video call. He opened the room door and savagely woke Mila up. Staring at the little girl with narrowed eyes, Lynn said, "B*tch, you come with me outside to play. But I warn you, if you make a fuss, I'll sell you!"
Little Mila obediently nodded in fear.
Five minutes later, Lynn takes Mila and leaves.
Back to Wynn who left early in the morning. He first returned to the office because last night, Gavin told him that he got some info about the collaboration with Turner.
Wynn seemed happy to see this. "Manager Zach, are you serious? It's nice! Manager Zach, you have to help me with this negotiation."
"No problem. As long as Vice Manager Johnston knows what to do, I will definitely help you," said Gavin smiling and patting the chair beside him, hinting Wynn to sit next to him.
Wynn frowned slightly but sat down. After all, this was a thirty million dollar contract with a commission of one million. He'll be able to pay Mila's operating expenses.
"Manager Zach, tell me what I have to do." Wynn smiles. He was wearing a white business suit today.
She smiles. "I've made an appointment with my uncle to meet at the Celestial Club. We'll talk there later."
Wynn pushed Gavin's hand away and said, sounding uneasy, "Manager Zach, isn't that a little inappropriate? Let's talk in the office."
Gavin's face immediately darkened. He said in a threatening tone, "Vice Manager Johnston, you should know that even though the representative is my uncle, we may not be able to secure the deal. So many other companies are paying attention to this big piece of cake. But if Vice Manager Johnston is not sincere about collaborating, then I have nothing else to say." Gavin then got up to leave.
Hearing this, Wynn grew anxious and quickly said, "Manager Zach, wait. I'll think about it." A million dollar commission! Mila's operating expenses! Wynn comforts himself like that. He thought that he only needed to drink and sing a little. They may not do anything out of bounds.
Gavin's eyes narrowed as his smile deepened. He pointed to the box on his desk and said, "Think about it. That's my gift to you. After you make up your mind, put it on and come with me."
Wear that? As soon as Gavin left, Wynn fearfully opened the box. It was a set of clothes! Wynn felt his knees go limp. His pupils contracted, and he clenched his fists furiously!
Back then, he received a text message from Gavin: Deputy Manager Johnston, this is a gift from my uncle. You should wear it. If you do, I assure you that this deal will be yours! Oh, and I forgot to tell you. If this collaboration fails, you may be dismissed from your Deputy Manager position. Think carefully.
After sending a message, Gavin burst into laughter inside his office. A pure and untarnished corporate goddess! Nonsense*t!
When Wynn finished reading the message, he felt his body go limp. He was so helpless and angry. Bastard, they're all assholes!
Not long after Gavin returned to his office, Rose broke through angrily. "Gavin Zach, what does this mean? Why are you helping that witch, Wynn Johnston?!" Rose asked angrily.
Gavin gestured to Rose with a big smile. The latter went fixed and was pulled into his arms. "Dear Rose, you are my woman, so how can I help another woman? Relax, I'm just helping my uncle with this."
Rose flirtatiously brushed off her hand and asked with a flat face, "What do you mean?"
Gavin tells Rose his entire plan, only hiding the part where he will get his share.
After hearing that, Rose's eyes sparkled. He asked excitedly, "Don't that mean your uncle will ...?"
"Ahem, it's not too much for a woman to contribute to securing a deal." Gavin smiles. Thinking that she could spend the night with Wynn made her very excited.
"Moreover, I have to be the one to secure the deal with Turner. Wynn's just a gift for my uncle." Gavin laughed coldly.
Poor Wynn was completely toyed with in the palm of his hand.
Rose nodded and smiled smirkily. "It's karma! Karma! We should have done this earlier on that witch!" Thinking of Wynn's misfortune, Rose felt an indescribable pleasure in her heart.
"Manager Zach, would it be troublesome if Wynn's husband found out about this?" Roses worry.
"He's just a piece of trash, what to fear?" Gavin doesn't care. "If he really comes to look for trouble, I can deal with it."
Philip? Huh! What a sad piece of trash! Gavin could not wait to see the angry expression on Philip's face if he knew how his wife was being treated. Ha ha!
Roses nodded. He hugged Gavin's neck and said sweetly, "Then... Manager Zach, when the witch was fired, the position of deputy manager..." Rose had long craved the position of deputy manager. Or else, she would never bend over backwards to become the lover of this greasy and bald fat man.
"Hahaha, don't worry. That vice manager position must be yours!"
