Leon suddenly started laughing. It was an explosion of arrogant and mocking laughter.
"What did you just say? Four hundred grand? Bro, there must be a limit to your actions." Leon continued to mock, "I think what you're wearing isn't even worth three hundred. Oh, right, and with your blind daughter, you two won't even add up to four digits. Forget four hundred thousand, can you pay forty thousand?"
This was the first time Leon had met such a funny person. That man is even the father of a child, what an idiot. He must have just put up a face to act cool in front of his son.
"Leon, what are you saying? You are the first guilty. Why can't you apologize to the boy?" Silvia sounded annoyed. He never expected that Leon would hit such an adorable little girl. This man is too vile! Fortunately, he had not received his confession before. However, Silvia was worried about Philip because she knew Leon's background. The young man came from a rich family. His family had a business worth about two hundred million. Leon often bragged about driving a Ferrari and living in a mansion to his friends. Typical spoiled rich kid. It would be very painful to provoke him.
"Mrs. Clarke, I'm sorry. Let me apologize on his behalf. He's my friend." Silvia did not expect to make a fuss. He was especially worried that if Philip and Leon were to clash, it would only be disadvantageous for Philip and his daughter.
However, Philip spoke nonchalantly, "Thank you for your goodwill, but he must apologize to my daughter. I won't repeat this a third time."
"It kills me! Bro, you're funny. Do you know who I am?" Leon smiled mockingly. He reached into his Gucci wallet from his shirt pocket, took out a few pieces of red money, and spread them piece by piece in front of Philip. "Here, is this enough? Aren't you just trying to cheat my money? I know what kind of trash you think."
Seeing Philip not move, Leon continued to put out a few hundred more dollars and put it in Philip's breast pocket, saying flirtatiously, "If that's not enough, here's a few more. Just give me a number. Only money I have. ." After which, he glared at Mila hatefully, who was in Silvia's arms, and muttered softly, "Little bitch."
Upon hearing this, Philip exploded.
"Theo, get in here!" Philip roars.
Theo was smoking on the side of the road. When he heard this order, the man rushed into the store, not looking like a prestigious mafia king.
"Mr Clarke, what's wrong?" Theo asked respectfully.
Philip turned to smile at Silvia. "Can I trouble you to take my daughter out to wait a little while I take care of this?"
Silvia frowned slightly. He urged in a small voice, "Master Clarke, don't push yourself. If things don't work out, forget it."
Philip nodded. He then lightly scratched his daughter's nose and smiled gently. "Mila's a good girl. Papa will punish the bad guys first and accompany you later, okay?"
Mila rubbed her big, teary eyes and nodded.
After Silvia brought her daughter out, Philip glared at Leon.
Philip put his hand behind him and asked coldly, "Your name is Leon Larson?" In Philip's mind, he was thinking of making this young man pay a heavy price.
"really. His name is Leon Larson, the young master of Prime Harvest Group." Leon introduced himself with a grin playing on his lips. It was clear that he was trying to bully Philip.
Prime Harvest Group is also very famous in Riverdale City. If an ordinary person tried to provoke this establishment, it was like throwing an egg at a stone. And it turns out, in Leon's eyes, Philip was the egg.
Philip turned his gaze to Theo and asked in a deep voice, "Do you know them?"
Theo quickly replied, "Prime Harvest Group is one of the famous companies in Riverdale City. They are worth two hundred million and focus on the building materials business. The president, Lewis Larson, has started a renovation business. They have several hitmen in their ranks, specifically hired to handle any business disputes."
Theo explained with incredible knowledge for the company. Prime Harvest Group is really troublesome to take care of. Although Theo was the king of the mafia, it was sometimes difficult for him to take care of the ones above ground. Especially for a corporation like this that would easily cost around hundreds of millions to influence, even he had to tread carefully. Even though everyone would still show respect to him, if they were to really fight, neither side would make any profit.
Therefore, Theo leaned closer to whisper into Philip's ear, "Master Clarke, this Prime Harvest Group will be very complicated. That old man, Lewis Larson, is also a powerful man."
Philip frowned, saying nothing. It seemed that Theo was only dominant in appearance. If Theo knew that Philip saw him like that, the man would probably hate him for being a coward.
Leon couldn't help but smile. "What's? You think just because you can read what my family did, I'll be afraid of you? With just a little research, anyone can know about this." What are they trying to do? Trying to scare her? Leon might go crazy for laughing too much. Are these two idiots?
However, Philip spoke calmly, "Theo, I won't trouble you with this, so you won't have to interfere. I'll handle this myself."
Theo breathed a sigh of relief. To be honest, making it against the Prime Harvest Group was like asking him to negotiate with a tiger if they could skin him alive. There will be no positive results. Nonetheless, Theo added for the sake of it, "Why didn't I contact Lewis to come and apologize to you? He should be able to show that much respect to me."
"no need. He, Leon Larson, has to be dealt with today. If her parents bring more trouble, she'll have to deal with it." Philip lifted his head and snorted. "I want Prime Harvest Group to disappear from Riverdale City completely!"
Completely disappeared? Theo's dumbfounded! He's really confused. Even though he knew that Mr. Clarke had a special identity, making a company worth hundreds of millions disappear completely with just a few words sounded like a joke.
Lewis Larson is a man of Riverdale City status. He also met some very influential people. Even a strongman like Theo Zander wouldn't want to clash with Lewis Larson of Prime Harvest Group because it wasn't worth it.
Not to say that Theo is incapable. It was just that if he were to consider the pros and cons, he would naturally choose a more profitable route.
No matter the nonsense anymore, Philip pulled out his phone and called a number.
