The First Heir (First Heir)

The First Heir (First Heir)
chapter 38

Lynn glanced at her friends, looking sad, then finally stuttered, "I. It's all because she keeps cranky wanting to go home and keep running around, so I teach her a lesson. Is something wrong?" Lynn was still filled with grievances at first, but as she spoke, she ended up becoming more agitated, as if unwilling to admit that this was her fault.

"What's more, Mila is your daughter, not mine. Why should I look after him? If he's missing, it's his fault!" Lynn refused to take on this responsibility. It has nothing to do with him. It's all Mila's fault! That's because that little*****, which is embarrassing for the family, is very damaging to the scene!

Philip was really angry. She never expected Lynn to be this unreasonable but still was so proud of herself. "Lynn Johnston, I warned you. If Mila is not found at the end of this day, I will make you regret this for the rest of your life!" Philip pointed at Lynn and rebuked. He was now boiling with anger. Had Lynn not been Wynn's cousin, she would have slapped him several times by now!

Beside him, Theo whispered, "Master Clarke, I've already told the broadcasting room to start searching. Let's go to the control room."

Philip nodded, then turned to follow Theo as they rushed towards the control room.

Lynn and her friends exchanged looks. Until after Philip left, Lynn kicked the air in anger and scolded, "Philip Clarke, who do you think you are? ****** smaller*it's better kidnapped by human traffickers!" Lynn was angry because of the trash, Philip raised his voice, humiliating him in front of his friends.

"Lynnie, is that idiot your cousin's brother-in-law?" The boy who had been slapped by Philip earlier stared in annoyance at the direction where Philip disappeared as he asked with gritted teeth.

Lynn nodded reluctantly. "She's just a wretched piece of trash living under my cousin's sister's expense."

"** * *! A man who's being nurtured?" Jeremy Hill is getting upset. It was a shame to be feared by a man who was nurtured, so he had to regain his dignity! "Let's go and follow them. My father is the superintendent of this amusement park. If they want to find a missing person, they have to go through my father." Jeremy said coldly, "I won't let this lie down. I'll make her kneel down and apologize or she can forget about finding that little!"

Lynn frowned slightly hearing that. To be honest, he was against the idea because Philip was his cousin's brother-in-law. If his cousin found out about this, he would be in deep trouble. However, Lynn also could not tolerate how Philip treated her before. How dare a piece of trash raise his voice at her? How despicable!

"Lynnie, don't worry. I'll defend you. He's just trash." Jeremy grinned as a plan formed in his mind.

With that said, the group followed after Philip and Theo.

Returning to Philip, as soon as he and Theo reached the control room, they immediately explained their situation. The staff inside quickly started a surveillance note and Philip stood in front of over ten videos as he carefully searched for Mila's silhouette.

"Mr Clarke, please stay here and keep an eye on the camera, I'll go and pick up my men" Theo said respectfully.

Outside the door, Theo hurriedly made a few phone calls, making all his men come out and search!

In an instant, the entire underground world in Riverdale City was mobilized! In no time, a photo of an energetic and adorable little girl was plastered on the walls of every mall, every shop, and every entertainment venue.

On Philip's side, he was currently staring closely at the surveillance cameras, feeling anxious inside. Mila is everything, she's everything to Wynn. If Mila is really missing, Philip doesn't know how she should live or how she should face Wynn.

"Here we go, here we go! Rewind!" In the video, Philip can see Lynn and her group with a little girl following behind. The little girl continued to look around, looking elated but at the same time, scared. It's mila!

Because of his congenital heart disease, Philip rarely invited him to play and Wynn banned him. The last time Philip took him to an amusement park, the incident happened. To this day, Wynn is still angry at Philip about it.

What was even more heartbreaking was that Lynn and her group completely ignored the little girl behind them. They just focus on having fun and taking pictures. As for Mila, she had to keep running to follow their footsteps. When he fell down a few times, he slowly got up and then continued chasing after the group. It's too heartbreaking. That little girl is only three years old! That fucking Lynn Johnston!

The next few scenes really enraged Philip. His knuckles turned pale as the anger in his eyes was like a turbulent wave! Looks like Mila told them that she wants to go home. Lynn slaps him angrily and points at his nose as he berates her with ominous words. Worse, Lynn then leaves Mila alone there and leaves with her friends.

On the screen, Mila stood there, crying helplessly as she shouted calling Papa and Mama. After which, he wiped his tears and started walking around the amusement park aimlessly and fearlessly.

Philip's heart was bleeding. He could barely control his anger now. Mila, a three-year-old little girl, is left alone in a crowded amusement park by Lynn and her friends. Philip did not dare to imagine how helpless, pitiful, and frightened his daughter was.

"Lynn Johnston! Fuck you!" Philip broke the skin of his lips as he forced those words out with red eyes. So what if he's Wynn's cousin? So what if he was the precious treasure of the second uncle of the Johnston family? He had just dug his own grave by treating Mila like this!

Suddenly, the door of the control room was pushed open, and about seven people entered the room. Jeremy and his group also entered in with satisfaction.

The one in the lead was a middle-aged man wearing a dark blue suit and exuding an imposing aura.

"Who is Philip Clarke?"
