Philip's eyes were ice-cold, his demeanor terrifying.
George did not dare to speak at all because he remained silent. This attitude of his that had disappeared for seven whole years was finally revealed once again at this moment.
Tonight, hordes of hooligans will face the wrath of a dragon that has just awakened from the abyss.
"Ride," orders George.
The class S sedans slowly drove away from the hospital courtyard, still lined up together.
Meanwhile, Lynn and her parents who were walking briskly towards the hospital entrance happened to pass by Philip's car.
Being a money-obsessed woman, Lynn couldn't help but notice five to six luxury sedans as they passed by. These cars are impossible to miss at night.
Who is this rich man?
Lynn's heart immediately soared when she saw the face of the passenger of the car.
The person sitting in the car that had just passed him was none other than his useless brother-in-law, Philip Clarke.
Lynn was stunned on the spot as her brows furrowed. He turned to the sedan convoy that drove out of the hospital gate as he wondered to himself.
"Is that really him?"
How is that possible?
He must think too much.
Lynn was clearly the kind of person her sister-in-law was.
How could he sit on a luxury sedan being trash like him?
Lynn chuckled to herself and ignored those thoughts before running to the hospital.
At the other end, a convoy of sedans soon arrives at an estate that George has personally purchased.
It was Philip who paid for it.
The estate is located in the most expensive region of Riverdale. Only a total of 30 plots of land were developed with the cheapest price of 30 million!
The land George bought was the most expensive. It is based in the middle region with unique features.
He had spent a total of 100 million on this piece of land!
Of course, the only real estate development company capable of exploiting this piece of land is the best local company in Riverdale—Longford Group.
Being a local company that has stood firm for 40 years, Longford Group has always had certain speaking rights and influence in Riverdale.
No one can imagine the capital and power that lies behind the scenes.
It was not about the amount of money involved but a complicated chain of relationships.
In terms of money, George is the richest man in Riverdale.
However, in terms of power, the Longford Group was undeniably a local tyrant.
Even Theo Zander had to rely on their help when handling affairs.
Car convoy soon arrives in Longford Park. There are three gates at once, each of which is guarded by specially trained security guards from the Longford Group.
Security is certainly not a problem.
The name dominates.
Philip got out of the car and was greeted by his security guards, who were all wearing black suits and shades of black. They stood ten meters away from each other on either side of a thousand-acre plot of land.
Kneeling in the middle of the courtyard under the headlights were five young hooligans from before who were now shivering in fear.
There was no change in Philip's indifferent expression as he stepped closer towards them. He took the baseball bat out of the hands of one of the security guards and swung it violently towards the men!
This went on for the next five minutes.
Screams and howls broke out in the air one after another.
Clangs!
The baseball bat was thrown to the ground as Philip sat on a jade-white marble bench. With her legs wide open, she bent her upper body forward as her arms hung loosely. "Who of you carries a knife?" he asked in an ice-cold tone as he glared at the five men lying on the ground.
"That's not me! That's not me!"
"It wasn't me either! Brother, please forgive us!"
"We won't dare to do this again! We know our mistake now, forgive us!"
Philip's expression remained dark and resolute as the men pleaded and pleaded. He flicked his finger at the guards and some of them stepped forward, each carrying a silver box in their hands. They proceeded to lift the lid, revealing a pile of red banknotes inside.
"I have five million here. Whoever speaks first will have it all."
Although his voice was soft, the effect was amazing.
The young hooligans exchanged glances as each of them conspired with their own thoughts.
"I'll talk!"
"No, let me talk!"
"That's it! Woody did it!"
Within seconds, four of them pointed their fingers at the same person.
The chosen man was terrified and trembling. He kept shouting that it was not him, and he tried to get up from the floor to escape.
Thumping!
A kick sent him flying into the air, making him fall to the ground once again. He gripped his stomach as cold sweat formed on his forehead.
Philip sneered as he remained seated on the jade-white marble bench. "I don't want to see his face again in Riverdale."
As soon as those words came out of his mouth, two black-clothed security guards moved forward and dragged the frightened and trembling Woody away.
Woody desperately begged for mercy, "Sister, forgive me! Big Boss, I know I was wrong. Sorry!"
It's thundering!
The muffled sound of thunder resounded in the air, covering all the surrounding sounds.
Somewhere around the corner of Riverdale, a black van was speeding away under heavy rain when one of the car's doors opened as a bloodied body was thrown out of the vehicle.
Both of his legs were broken after being thrown into a mud pit. He howled in pain.
Since then, Riverdale has been home to other lame beggars.
