The First Heir (First Heir)

The First Heir (First Heir)
chapter 53

Now, back to Philip.

After he hung up the phone, he returned to where he was. In the end, the seniors around him started muttering in disdain. They walked away from him as if he was a plague.

"What's wrong? He's an adult and he's still embarrassing himself."

"Martha is so unlucky to have a daughter-in-law like her."

"Ew, let's go. I smell a disgusting fox among us."

Philip retreated to one side after listening to the cruel accusations and ridicule from everyone. He leaned against the wall and crossed his arms to see what was going on.

Aiden saw Philip's ordeal and felt overwhelming. He fired her happily. Under the hot gazes of the seniors, he straightened his suit and walked over to the manager and staff.

"Hello, Sir. Can I help you?"

The manager is a woman. His face is sharp and his waist is small. He is skinny but still looks charming. He wore black business attire with a white patterned shirt that made him appear skilled and experienced.

"Are you the manager here?" Aiden asked with a handsome smile on his face.

He looked at the woman and thought that she looked beautiful. If possible, he wants to make her his secretary or personal assistant.

"Yes, Sir. However, our company is going through some changes these days. So, if it's about business, I'm afraid you should be back in a few days."

Judy Walter politely replied.

He noticed that the seniors blocking the door had asked this handsome man to help them.

Plus, from what he could gather, he had quite a position in society. He might even know his boss.

"I know what your company does. There's no point in telling me that. I'll tell you to return their money to the seniors. I've asked my father to contact your president. I might have an answer in a minute. "

"And my house" Martha stood to one side and said as she saw the opportunity.

"Don't worry, Aunt Martha. I'll help you ask him back."

Aiden nodded and said. However, his grin betrayed what he really thought.

It feels good to be the center of attention, indeed.

Judy smiled and apologized, "Sorry, sir. It's a business matter, so I don't have the right to make a decision. Since you know our president, please wait patiently or maybe you can ask him to stop by?"

It's not strange that Judy doesn't trust Aiden.

Give them back their money?

I'm sorry, but that's not possible unless the president comes here and returns the money himself.

After he said that, Aiden's face fell. He glanced at Judy's nametag coldly and said, "Manager Judy, right? I'm Aiden Grant. I'm the CEO of Stardream Media. My dad is Gordon Grant, and he's chairman of Splendor Education Group. That's right? Do you think I'm making this up?"

When he said that, Aiden could not hide the excitement in his eyes.

They are the leading educational group in Riverdale!

Plus, they have a close relationship with the education bureau.

It can be said that if you live in Riverdale and you are educated, then you will be connected with Splendor.

There are more than ten educational institutions under Splendor including schools. Pomp is everywhere from kindergartens, elementary schools, even universities.

This is why Aiden is superior to most people.

Judy frowned when she heard that. He smiled lightly and said, "Master Grant, it's not that we didn't return the money. It's just that we have to wait for our president to make a statement. Why don't you call her and ask her?"

Judy knew she couldn't offend Aiden, so she could only politely decline him.

"All right, just wait. I'll call him now."

Aiden also did not want to cause any trouble for this woman. He turned around and called his father after taking out his phone. "Hey, Dad. What progress?"

"I'm very busy right now. I don't have time. Don't call me for little things like this. I know Mr. Collins is from Lucrative Funds Finance Company, but you're just making assumptions about him. You cut off the source of his income?"

On the other end of the phone, Gordon scolded her angrily. "Go back here right now. Don't get involved in this. Do you know who supported Mr. Collins behind him?"

Aiden. He didn't expect his father to help him. Is this small company hard to deal with?

"Who? Are they better than us?" ask Aiden.

"Theo Zander!" gordon said firmly. "Enough. Return your *ss to here now. I won't be able to help you if you get into trouble."

Theo's name was enough to catch Gordon's attention.

A person who is born a thug and ends up in a legitimate business should not be taken lightly.

Aiden was shocked when he heard Theo's name. He's starting to panic.

His face fell and became dark.

He hung up the phone, and the seniors surrounded him to ask a lot of questions.

"How, Aiden? Is it solved? Can we get our money back? Can I get my house back too?" Martha could not wait to know the result.

"Hey, that's Aiden Grant we're talking about. If he is willing to defend us, then of course he will be able to settle this! Right, Mr Grant?" someone asked.

"Yes, Mr. Grant is handsome and skilled. Plus, he was the young master of Splendor. This kind of thing is very easy for him."

Looking at the sharp gazes of the seniors, Aiden knew he was in deep trouble. He had just made a big promise to them and it would be a shame if he said he could not finish it now.

Plus, Martha was involved in this.
