The First Heir (First Heir)

The First Heir (First Heir)
chapter 2

Philip's expression changed, frowning slightly.

Looking at Philip in his delivery uniform, looking shabby, Lily pointed to the door and said, "Get out now, we don't allow the delivery man here."

"I'm not here for delivery" Philip explained.

Lily tidied up her bangs before crossing her arms and said coldly, "This isn't the first time I've heard this. Everyone who comes here says they are not the delivery boy. Help me!"

"No. I'm here to see George Thomas." Exasperated, Philip headed inside after saying that.

"F* ck! Are you angry? Didn't you hear what I said?" Lili was furious. This was the first time he had seen a shameless deliveryman who would only force his way in after being denied entry.

Just then, a department manager seemed to have heard the commotion and came out with an ugly expression. "What the hell is going on?"

"Manager Stuart, this courier is trying to force his way into our office!" Lily pointed at Philip and then continued in great disgust, "I'll ask for security to immediately expel him!"

The manager frowned and assessed Philip before saying, "Our company doesn't allow shipping officers in. Please go."

Stuart showed more decency, but his tone and attitude did not sound friendly. This man is the department manager of a company listed in the Fortune Global 500. Being polite to this garbage delivery officer is already very good.

Seeing Philip still standing there in a daze, Lily was eager to show his authority, so she pointed at him again and roared, "Did you hear that? Out now!"

Philip's upset. Did he swallow a stick of dynamite, or was he menstruating? This is a company belonging to my family, and you are just a watchdog! Who are you to bark at your owner? Goddamn bum!

"I've already said that I'm not here for delivery. I'm here to see George Thomas" Philip replied coldly.

George Thomas's? The manager was dumbfounded as he stared, bewildered at Philip before bursting into laughter. "You're looking for our chairman?"

"George Thomas, is your chairman?" Philip's dumbfounded. Isn't that old man just a secretary? Since when did he secretly become the chairman? No wonder he was brave enough to talk about the condition. That means I can't be gentle when I meet her later! I, Philip Clarke, will never inherit the family business! I'll take the money and go!

Stuart shook it and laughed cynically. "You didn't even know that President Thomas was our chairman, and you said you were looking for him? Do you have an appointment?"

"Mr Stuart, stop joking. How can a trash like him get an appointment?" Lily scoffed as her lips curved into a sarcastic smile.

"Alright, alright. Lily, ask for security to come." Stuart waved impatiently.

"Understanding, Mr. Stuart," Lily replied in a coquettish voice before she ran to the front desk and picked up the phone to call the security department.

The manager was about to leave when, suddenly, an angry voice sounded at the front desk.

"George Thomas, get down here right now! I was detained by your receptionist. If I don't see you in three minutes, I'll be gone."

The other two people followed the source of the voice and saw Philip just hang up with a lazy expression as his eyes scanned the office environment.

The mocking smile on Lily's lips grew, and she denounced, "You're even pretending now! You deserve to be the introduction of a lifetime!" His hand then switched from a cell phone to taking a secret picture of Philip to be posted on his social media timeline with the caption, 'Excreate! Meet with the delivery maniac today and will ask security to expel him...'

On one side, Stuart frowned as he looked at Lily. The latter immediately understood and gave him an 'OK' gesture'. He called the security department and reported, "Hello, come to the front desk to take care of a piece of human waste." After hanging up the phone, Lily sat back down and started putting on her makeup, ignoring Philip.

Soon, the head of the Apex Group, George Thomas, with his secretary behind him, ran out of the elevator and saw their young master waiting in the waiting room from afar!

However, what made their eyes wide open was seeing the three security personnel about to expel the young master!

It's the sole heir to the family business! George immediately shouted, "Stop!"

Three security guards had just pushed Philip out when they heard the order. They turned around to see their chairman rushing over with an angry expression! Why is the chairman here?

'Thud!' The three men stood up straight and saluted. "Good day, Mr. President!" they greet.

However, George paid no attention to them and headed straight for Philip; his face bloomed like a sunflower.

As Lily watched the chairman, she quickly rushed over. And when he saw Philip still standing there like an idiot, his anger grew.

"Mr President!" Lily greeted respectfully before turning to look at Philip in disdain. "Why are you still here? You three, dump him!" Lili was furious. Is the security team blind? How could they let this trash stand in the waiting room when the chairman was here? What if this lunatic is bothering the chairman?

George, however, glanced at Lily coldly and denounced, "What are you doing? This is the young master of our company, the future president! Who let you be this impolite?!"

Younger... Young master? This fellow? How is this delivery guy like a young master?

Lily's dumbfounded. He said angrily, "Master President, are you wrong? How is he the young master of our company?"

"I'm not wrong" replied George coldly as disgust toward this woman grew in his heart. What kind of tone and attitude is this? Is this the way you talk to your boss?

Lily immediately realized her mistake and bowed apologetically. "Mr President, I'm sorry, I..."

The manager, Stuart, from earlier happened to be back at the time. He smiled flatteringly and asked, "Master President, why did you come down here?" As he spoke, he noticed that Philip was still here but was unaware of the current atmosphere. His face turned red, and he frowned. "Why are you still here? Didn't I tell you that our company doesn't allow dispatch officers here? Out!"

As soon as he spoke, he felt a pair of cold eyes staring straight at him.

Geez, idiots are everywhere, but they are so abundant today.

Philip shook his head, helpless. "It is a sin to be such an arrogant person."

"Young Master, please come this way." George bowed slightly and gestured for her to enter. This scene shocked the manager and receptionist. Young Master? Is he really a young master?

Seeing Philip was about to leave with the chairman, Stuart immediately rushed over to smile apologetically and pleaded, "Young Master, I'm too blind to recognize you for who you are. Please forgive me this time."

Stuart could see how the chairman had so much respect for the young man. The Apex Group is ranked seventh in the Fortune Global 500, and its chairman is a leading figure worth more than billions! If a great person like him were to say that this young man was a young master, then he was a young master!

Lily also rushed over with a docile expression as she apologized, "Young Master, I was wrong. I'll never do it again."

Philip only glanced at George indifferently. The latter directly pointed to the security team and ordered, "What are you standing there for? Throw them both away! From today on, don't let them take a single step into our premise!"

"Young Master, Young Master, we were wrong, please forgive us..." Stuart and Lily are eventually evicted from the building by security.

After arriving at the president's office, Philip sat on a leather sofa while George stood respectfully on one side with his hands in front of him.

"Old George, you live a pretty luxurious life. This ostrich leather sofa, it tastes good!" Philip patted the sofa on which he was sitting and exclaimed.

George put on a humble expression as he replied, still standing, "Young Master, stop joking with this old man. If you want to sign your name on this document, everything here is yours." As soon as he said that, the tall secretary with delicate skin, dressed in black formal attire behind him, handed Philip a set of documents.

Philip looked at her with disdain. "It's not that you don't know that I refuse to inherit my father's fortune. I'm here today to ask you to borrow me a hundred thousand dollars."

George smiled wisely and said, "I refuse."

"Tell me again, old man!" Philip stood up, suddenly out of anger.

reset George. "I refuse."

The older man then continued with a bright smile on his wrinkled face as he was tempted, "Young Master, as long as you sign this, forget about a hundred thousand, please, even a hundred million or a billion are yours."

"Forget over! If I sign this document, my name is not Philip Clarke!" Philip rampaging.

Five minutes later.

"Congratulations, Young Master, you have officially inherited all of the Clarke family's wealth and business. It's your hundred thousand."

How delightful!

George stared at the signed document with his face blooming like a chrysanthemum flower.

At the same time, the secretary beside him carried a briefcase and opened it. That's a hundred thousand cash!

"George, old man, you're too extravagant. This briefcase seems to be carrying a hundred million" Philip said as he picked up the plastic bag lying next to him and put the money in. "I'll go now. ."

"Be careful, Young Master. Do you need me to get the car ready for you?" George asked respectfully.

"It's okay, I came with my scooter," Philip replied, and he walked out of the office with a plastic bag in hand.

After Philip left, George immediately brought the documents to the conference room on the top floor and started a video conference.

"Master, young master has finally signed." Old George stood in front of the big screen, bowing slightly as he reported with great enthusiasm and respect.

The screen showed an old man in a wheelchair. The old man coughed for a while before slowly raising his hand and saying in a weak voice, "Then deliver the message..."

"Yes, sir," replied George, wiping his tears as he looked at the old man on the screen.

In an instant, the top management of all businesses under the Clarke family received an email informing them that the sole heir of the Clarke family, Philip Clarke, had officially inherited the family business! These businesses include property, development, entertainment, production, finance, investment, information technology, and others...

Philip returned to the hospital and rushed to the ward just in time to see Wynn and Juan leaning close to each other as they chatted happily.

Philip frowned as he clenched his hand.

"Philip Clarke, where have you been?" Upon seeing her, Wynn asked coldly. To think this man could still run around, ignoring his daughter. Wynn's gaze endured the disappointment as he looked at Philip.

Juan, who was sitting next to him, laughed out loud. "Philip, did you go try to borrow money? It's okay; I can pay the medical bills. Anyway, I'm uncle Mila."

"I don't need you to worry about my daughter's medical expenses; I can pay." Philip walked in with a cold expression.

"Philip Clarke, how can you behave like this towards Brother Juan! Apologize to her!" Wynn begins to scold her, thinking that she knows her husband well enough to know that he is deliberately disrespectful. Brother Juan was kind enough to help them pay the bills, but this man was sour for him. So rude!

Juan pretends to be kind and urges Wynn, saying, "Wynnie, don't be mad. Philip must be upset that he didn't manage to borrow money."

Wynn looked at Philip angrily as he looked down on him even more.

Philip tried to contain his anger as he looked at the two of them with clenched hands. He wanted to punch Juan in the face. A wynnie? He called her by her pet name with great affection! Jesus, Wynn Johnston, I'm your husband here. Are you not ashamed? Juan pretended to be kind and urged Wynn, saying, "Wynnie, don't be mad. Philip must be upset that he didn't manage to borrow money."
