Chapter 38 The Crossing

This chapter tells the condition of the main character in this novel.

Rico

Riko was still thinking about what happened to Amira. Yesterday, after taking Amra home, the girl told him nothing. Riko sat on the balcony of her house, trying to think of something that might happen to Amira.

“If Amira was crying because of Digo, could it be that Amira had turned and loved her?” inner Riko fretted.

Why is Amira crying over someone else? Is it no longer me in his heart?”

He should have ended his relationship with Desi in order to keep Amira by his side. But the fact is that until now the relationship with Desi is still intertwined, even though there are no more happy feelings.

The Digo house

Then he directed the driver to take the road to Digo's house.

He wanted to see Digo at least once, even if it was from afar.

Upon arriving at Digo's home area, Nisa asks the driver to wait for her at a crossroads.

He continued walking until he saw a 2nd floor house that he was very familiar with.

He approached the house and stood in front of the fence. He looked at Digo's room on the 2nd floor and could see his window from where he stood.

“I never thought if you were gone from me took my smile Digo. I never thought that regret would hurt this much,” he said softly as he continued to look at the window of Digo's room.

At that time Digo's room window was open, and he could see the figure he had longed for so far. Digo was sitting by the window with his sad face.

It looks like Digo is shedding tears.

Nisa surprised. Three years with him he never saw Digo cry. Why does Digo look so weak right now?

“Which woman can make you cry like this Digo?” his mind with eyes kept on Digo.

Meanwhile, Erwin who had been on his way to Digo's house, had now arrived. But he was shocked to see a woman standing in front of his best friend's house.

He stopped his motorbike to watch the girl for a moment.

“Amira,” her inner wonder. “Ngapain Amira is in- ah no. That's not Amira. What is Nisa?”
