The Charm of the Pirate

The Charm of the Pirate
Race With Time

Port of Roseland, March 1500.

Elie stopped the passing horse carriage and asked him to deliver to the Port.

The sun was already overhead, Elie was already late for lunch.

"Sir.."

"Can we go faster?"

"Well.."

"Sure, Miss."

HIYAAAT

BUKS!

BUKS!

The train is moving faster than ever before. The road was already not slippery a few days ago, that was why Elie felt calm despite the horse carriage speeding by.

All the residents were doing their usual activities, but as the Spring Festival was soon coming, everyone looked more excited than usual.

In the hallways some people make vehicles that are formed in a variety of ways. Among them are formed like a giant wine, snow dolls and large flowers.

Elie knows that her young lady is already looking forward to this spring festival, and she's going to take Sofia to watch the midnight parade.

The journey to the port takes about 1.5 hours by horse carriage, but if riding a horse only takes 30 minutes.

Several chariots were seen marching towards the harbor, carrying sacks of grain that had been stored in advance for winter supplies.

The port is a very crowded place, a lot of traders who transact here. The exchange of food with goods is common. Some merchants offer various types of goods that do not exist in Roseland, and vice versa.

"Miss.."

"Which ship will you visit?"

"Ship Marine, sir."

"That big white ship?"

"Yes, right."

"Will you see your husband?"

Deg

Deg

Deg

"Husband?"

Elie's cheeks met in red hearing the words of the coachman, He couldn't stop smiling.

"Miss.."

"Miss, are you okay?"

".."

"I'm sorry.."

"I'm going to meet someone.."

"Well.."

"So it seems.."

"We'll be there soon, Miss."

"Sure, thank you."

* * *

The horse-drawn carriage stopped right in front of the enormous Marine ship, Elie got off and paid some gold coins to the chariot driver.

"Thank you, Mister.."

Elie looked left and right, she couldn't find Captain Clark. It would be a shame if He suddenly boarded the ship and asked Captain Clark whereabouts.

"What should I do?"

Elie bit her nails in nervousness.

The sun was getting lower, they were already too late for lunch.

YOKE

Someone touched Elie's shoulder from behind.

Elie turned her body and saw Captain Clark smiling at her.

"Sir..." Quickly Elie bowed her back.

"Miss Elie.."

"I guess you're not coming.." Captain Clark smiled happily.

"I'm sorry for my delay, Sir."

"No problem, Miss.."

"Let's.." Clark clasped Elie's hand and took her on board.

"Today it's just the two of us here, and some cooks cooking in the kitchen."

"Is it because of me?"

"Do I bother you, Sir?"

"No, no.."

"Not at all.."

"I'm so happy to see you.."

Not long after that the chef came carrying various food dishes.

They present it on the table with a fast movement without any mistakes.

"I hope you like all these foods.."

"Of course, sir."

"Thank you.."

Elie took a bowl of Beef burguignon and Ratatouille, then for the cover took a sweet and fresh Creme Brulee.

"Do you like it?"

"It's so good..."

"Thank you, Mister.." Elie smiled sincerely.

The food served was really very good, the beef was very soft and creamy once.

Elie wanted to take another meal, but she was very embarrassed and decided to end her lunch.

"Sir.."

"Where are all your colleagues?"

"Kolega?

"Oh.."

"They're waiting for the ship to arrive, miss.."

"Ship?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Whose ship is Sir?"

"According to the warrant, the ship belongs to the Kingdom."

"Really?"

"Really.."

"Can we see?" Elie pleaded with sparkling eyes, Kepten Clark could not resist in the slightest.

"Hmmm.."

"Alright, but the boat hasn't come yet."

"They'll let you know when it's here."

"Thank you.."

"Miss?"

"Well.."

"Miss follows Her Majesty the Queen everywhere."

"Your Majesty the Queen always wants Miss to be with her."

"While I'm following Miss, because Miss has never been able to get back to her room?" Elie clutched her fingers.

"Really?" Captain Clark looked at Elie warmly.

"True sir, Miss is often lost."

"I'm worried about leaving him alone."

"Lady Sofia will be fine, Miss Elie."

"I hope so."

* * *

Elie had waited for quite a while, they spent time by going around the ship. Captain Clark looks very happy spending time with Elie.

As the sun was about to set, Elie promised Miss Sofia she would be home before dark, but she also forced Captain Clark to take her to the ship. Now Elie is confused as to how.

"Captain..."

"Captain..."

A man dressed as Clark came running.

"Have arrived?"

"Yes Captain.."

"But.."

"Is there a problem?"

"The captain can see for himself.."

"What's the matter exactly?" Clark frowned.

"Come, Miss.."

Elie had no time to ask, She followed Clark quickly.

* * *

Ships as large as Marine Ships dock at the dock. I don't know why Elie feels like he's seen her somewhere.

"Be careful with the casket." The voice of someone Elie knew well.

"That voice.."

"No way.."

Elie broke through the crowd and ran towards the ship. Captain Clark was about to hold him off but Elie's gone.

"Captain Hades?" Elie was surprised to see Hades touching a black coffin that looked like a coffin.

Hades glanced at Elie, He didn't say anything.

Elie looks left and right, looking for Richi's whereabouts.

He ran aboard the ship and met with one of the crew of Hades.

"You!"

"You brought Miss to Lilbert Island!"

"Where is Mr Richard?"

Bamus was silent, He answered nothing.

"You deaf?!"

"Hey!"

"Where is Mr Richard?!"

Bamus passed by Elie just like that regardless of the question.

Captain Clark managed to find Elie and bring her down.

"Miss, who are you looking for?"

"Mr Richard.."

"I'm looking for Mr. Richard, Captain.."

Captain Clark pulls out Elie's hand and stops in front of Captain Hades.

"Lord Hades, where's Mr. Richard.." Elie's desperate, she can't find Richard anywhere.

"Has he gone to the palace first?" Elie's eyes sparkled imagining it.

Hades glanced at Elie without saying a word.

"Sir.."

"Why didn't you say anything?"

Some passersby stopped and saw the commotion.

"Where's Mister? Miss Sofia misses him.." Elie pulled Hades's shirt tight.

BUGH!

AWW

Ben pushed Elie hard, Elie's body bumped into the crate and accidentally opened the lid.

"HEY!!" Clark pushed Ben hard and almost got him down.

Captain Clark helps Elie wake up and stare intently at Ben.

Elie stood up and was about to kick Ben, but her eyes stopped right at the open chest next to her.

Elie stepped back and fell.

"No.."

"No way.."

Elie's knees were limp as she saw a familiar figure lying inside the crate.

"Close the coffin Ben!" Hades looked at Ben angrily and left.

Ben quickly closes the crate and takes it with Bamus and Top, then inserts the crate into the royal horse carriage.

"Miss.."

"Are you okay?"

Clark shook Elie's body slowly. Elie's face was pale, sweat flowing from her forehead. Breathing is hard for him.

"Miss.."

"Miss.."

Elie got up and ran away from Captain Clark. He looked for the nearest horse and rode it quickly. The owner yelled at Elie but Captain Clark came and gave her a bag of gold.

"Elie's.."

"Be careful.." Mumbled Clark.

* *. *

Elie rides the Horse like a possession. He almost hit a few people but didn't care about it. The sky was getting darker, Elie had to be really extra careful controlling her horse.

"Miss.."

"Miss.."

Tears bathed his eyes. Elie could think of nothing else but her young Miss.

"I have to be faster, I have to be faster, I have to be faster!"

"Can't let Miss alone."

"No, don't get to."
