Elie's Story

Pace Island, February 1500.

The sun was already beginning to sink on Pace Island. The Marines were ready to sail again, they did not want to make the Duke of Roseland angry and chose to leave Pace Island as soon as possible.

Pace Island is calm again, with a stretch of white sand free of Marine ships. Only Captain Hades' ship was there complete with the sail turned white without a black flag on it.

"Elie's.."

"How did you get to be on this Island?" Sofia was still lying down, her wounds were re-opened as a result of the fall. Joy had already sewed the open part again.

"Well.."

"On the direction of Her Majesty the Queen, I can be on this Island Miss..."

"His Majesty the Queen? Queen Ranee?"

"Right, he told Mr. Jasper that Miss is on this Island."

"really?"

"Really Miss.."

"Tell me what happened when I was taken by Captain Hades.."

"I'll tell you about it, Miss. But wouldn't you rather rest for now?"

"I want to know, Elie.."

"Please..." Sofia looked at Elie with sparkling eyes.

"Well..."

"Don't look at me like that, Miss..."

"Please Elie.."

"I want to know.."

"Alright, alright..."

"I'll tell you..."

Lilbert Village, January 1499.

The House of the Lord Marquess Jasper.

"Elie, how?"

"What did Mr Gerald say?"

"Quick say!"

"Ah, he'll help find Miss.." Elie answered as she was.

"really? But why do you seem dissatisfied?"

"Just..."

"What is Elie? Say?!" Everyone waited for Elie's reply in suspense.

"Mr Gerald looks weird.."

"He, is he hiding something?"

"Like what? I don't understand what you're saying..."

"I'm not sure, we better wait for a while." Elie was getting unsure.

"Elie, what about Mr Jasper?" Should we give her a year?"

"Ah.. Mr. Gerald said we should wait another week, and he'll give us the news."

"really?"

"Yes, let's just wait..."

"If you think so, then we have no choice but to wait..."

All the servants looked at each other. They can't do anything but wait for news from Mr. Gerald.

"I'll be back in Roseland if Mr. Gerald doesn't give me any news in a week." Tell Elie to make all her friends feel calm.

"May Miss be well.." Elie muttered slowly.

They nodded simultaneously.

During the week the atmosphere of the house becomes tense, no one works well. They eat irregularly, sleep in a timely manner, all thinking only of Miss Sofia.

In their innermost hearts, they feel guilty when they eat and sleep well, while their Miss does not know where. Does Miss eat well and sleep in a comfortable place? No one knows.

"I'll go to Mr. Gerald's place.."

"Be careful Elie.."

"If I'm not back in a few hours, please follow me there..." Elie squeezed his hand.

"I'll come with you!" A servant boy proposed to himself.

"really? I feel better."

"Let's go."

They both went to Mr. Gerald's house on horse-drawn carriages.

Mr. Gerald's house looks deserted.

There were only a few people standing guard in front of his house.

"Elie, are you sure this is Mr Gerald's house?"

"Really! But why are there so many guards out here?"

"They're like a bunch of ********."

"Just how you think Gus! They look scary."

"Elie, what if we look back from afar?"

"I'm worried about letting you in there."

"Do you think so?"

"All right, let's wait a minute."

They waited long enough from a distance. The strangeness became more visible, the more people gathered in front of Mr. Gerald's house. But, more strange.. Many young women were led into his house.

"Gus! You see that?"

"Sure Elie.."

"What are they doing there?"

"I'm not sure.."

"Are they what I think they are?" Elie looked at Gus.

"You think the same as me?" Gus nodded.

"Gosh... What should we do Gus?" Elie clenched both of her hands.

"I thought, we should go back to Roseland Elie.."

"Nothing good will happen if we continue to be in Lilbert.." Gus looked back at Elie.

"You're right! Miss will be in danger if we continue to be here, we'd better meet Mr. Jasper soon."

"You're right!"

"We have to be able to.."

KRAAAK!

Someone's closing in on Elie and Gus' train. Gus patted the coachman on the back and the horse-drawn carriage drove quickly.

"HEY!"

"HEY!"

The man chases by running, but the horse runs faster, so Elie and Gus can make it out of the man.

"Geez Gus!! My heart! My heart!"

"Geez!!"

"Thank God Elie!"

"Thank God you didn't go in there!"

"We must return to Lilbert today as well!"

Upon arriving home, Elie retrieves some necessary items, including a portrait of Richi's face that has not been completed by Sofia. The whole waiter went home to Roseland. They do not want to feel restless continuously and choose to know all the things that happen by going to Roseland.

"All right, we're going back to Roseland. Is everything ready?"

"Yes, we're ready."

"Let's go!"

The trip to Roseland was done quickly. They don't rest like they used to with Sofia. The trip was done briefly because they wanted to quickly meet with Lord Marquess Jasper.

It only takes 1 day 1 night to Roseland. They were very happy to be back in the main house. The housekeeper opened the fence so that the horse-drawn carriage could enter.

Elie quickly enters the house and searches for the Marquess with Richi's painting.

"Sir..."

"Sir..."

"Elie's? You back?" Ron ran from the house.

"Roon!! Oh my..." Elie hugged Ron tightly.

"Where's Miss?" Ron looked behind Elie, but there was no one.

"Where's Miss?" Ron let go of Elie's embrace.

Elie cried loudly, She could no longer hold back her tears.

Nauseous

"Miss..."

"Miss...."

"What's? Tell me?"

"Miss..."

"Miss kidnapped Ron.."

"Kidnapped what?" Suddenly Marquess Jasper's voice came from behind Elie.

"Kidnapped what?"

"Sir, Mister..." Elie holding the leg of Marquess Jasper.

"Miss kidnapped sir..."

"Say it clearly! What's going on?!" Mr. Japser held Elie's shoulder firmly.

"Miss..."

"Miss kidnapped the pirate sir..."

Elie covered her face, she held back her cries with all her might.

BRUUUUGH!!

Mr. Jasper fell on the floor when he heard Elie's words.

"Sir...!"

"Master!" Ron helped Jasper stand up, then swept him into a nearby chair.

Elie ran quickly to the kitchen and took a glass of water.

"Sir.."

"I'm sorry..."

Japser tried to catch his breath. His heart was beating very fast. His blood flow stopped when he heard Elie's words.

"Explain everything that happened!!"

Elie sat down on the floor and explained everything that happened.

"Who kidnapped Sofi?" Jasper's eyes grew bigger.

"The Wizard of Hades, sir..." Elie answered nervously.

"Ship Hades?"

"Ship Hades you said?"

"Truly Mr.."

"Oh my God..."

"Oh my God.."

"Rossi.."

"What should I do now?" Mr. Japser covered his face with both hands.

Elie remembered something and immediately picked up the painting lying below.

"Sir.."

"He was one of the crew members of the ship Hades.."

"Miss painted it.."

Mr. Jasper looked up and saw the painting.

"God..."

"Oh my God..." Japser was surprised not to play.

"You're sure he's one of the crew on Hades?"

"Be right, sir.."

"You sure?!"

"Surely Sir!"

"Follow me, and bring the painting!"

Mr. Japser came out of the house and into the carriage, Elie caught up with him quickly.
