The Lower Room of the Deck

On a Pirate Ship, December 1499.

Sofia fell asleep from being too tired. Even he doesn't realize that Richi is no longer next to him. Cold started creeping from the tip of her toes, Sofia tried to pull the blanket she was wearing, but the blanket had already fallen off the bed.

The rumbling sound made him wake up with his entire body drenched in sweat. He had not gotten used to waking up to such a pretty appalling condition as he was at this moment.

Her clothes are uncomfortable, tend to be hot and make her itchy. Sofia continued to scratch her thighs and stomach. There was a blister wound on his left cheek because he accidentally hit the bed when the ship hit the waves.

He hasn't cleaned his body for 2 days. The discomfort began to frustrate him. I wanted to scream and beg God to wake him up from his nightmare. But that never happened. It's not just a nightmare, it's really the worst reality and it's very scary.

Ben opened the door as Sofia was scratching her stomach. He was upset because Ben always comes at the wrong time and time.

"Can't you just knock or say 'I'm going in?' there are women here! Hahooo..." Sofia spoke non-stop.

Ben just watched her and breathed in deeply.

"Follow Me." Ben said.

"Where?"

"You're gonna love it."

Sofia was a little confused, but she kept on following like a chick following its mother.

Ben takes Sofia back to Captain Hades' cabin. He gave her a towel and told her to go into a room.

"Jeez.You got a bathroom?" Sofia was surprised to see a fairly large bathtub equipped with fragrant soap and a fountain.

"It's just for Captain and Richi. Hurry up before the Captain comes." Ben closed the door and waited outside.

Sofia's happy not to be a bitch. He hasn't stopped smiling since he stepped into the bathroom. She was circling around like a princess on her birthday.

"This is the most beautiful thing I've seen in this horrible place."

The bathroom was quite large, about 2x3 meters. There is a shower and a large wading place. The large glass reflected Sofia's chaotic-looking shadow. With messy hair, mismatched clothes and of course a slightly chafed cheek. Sofia was a little surprised at the look of her own body. But it did not diminish her happiness one bit.

Sofia started to undress quickly. He filled the bathtub with water and soap that smelled of flowers. He was soaking like home.

"Let me enjoy life a little bit." Mumbled.

He closed his eyes, trying to imagine a pleasant thing, recalling his father and Elie who always bothered him. Now he really misses her.

Not long after that, Ben knocked on the door.

"Hurry, the Captain will be back soon."

"I'll be out in 5 minutes, counting." Sofia answered casually.

Sure enough, not long later there was a sound of footsteps approaching into the Cabin.

The sound of heavy boots steps was heard by Sofia. He knew it was Captain Hades.

"Ben, what are you doing?"

"He wants to take a shower." Ben pointed at the bathroom door.

"Ben asshole!" Sofia Murmured.

Sofia quickly cleans up and wears clothes that are already soaked with sweat. He came out in a hurry until his foot slipped. Richi catches his body quickly.

"Take care.." When he looked at who was helping him, he continued his words. Richi looks awkward and says nothing.

"What's this?" Hades laughed out loud.

Without saying much, Ben left the cabin quickly. He doesn't want to hear Captain and Richie's nag.

Richi lowered Sofia's body gently. Sofia looks different, she rolls her hair slightly curled up. Smelling flowers from her body, Richi is unable to take her eyes off Sofia.

"It's over?" Hades' words made Richi realize, he coughed a few times.

"Thank you.." Sofia Murmured.

"I brought you a present, but I put it in Richi's room, take a look." Said Captain Hades.

Without saying anything, Sofia rushed to leave the Captain's Cabin. Then he looked for the maroon-red door.

After Sofia leaves, Hades looks at Richi.

"What's wrong with you?" Ask Hades.

"You're acting like you don't know."

"I don't understand."

"Be careful what you say, or you'll regret it." Hades is relaxed.

"Bercerminlah sebelum mengatakannya." Richi meninggalkan Hades yang sedang tertawa.

After leaving the Captain's Cabin, Sofia searched the maroon-colored door, but she never found it. He opens all the doors he finds, but not the doors to Richi's room.

It is very difficult to walk on a ship that floats on water at a normal speed. Sofia continued walking like a drunk, she walked as usual but kept clinging to the walls of the ship.

Sofia walks to the bottom of the ship, she does not know what place it is, she walks stealthily because she does not want any crew to be aware of its presence.

He accidentally kicked his leg into a can so that someone noticed his presence.

"Geez, am I the only one who doesn't know that we have a woman on board?"

"Don't mind, he belongs to Mr. Richi."

Sofia was frightened and did not dare to say anything.

The old man approached her and smiled kindly.

"Miss.. has breakfast?"

Sofia shook her head slowly.

"God.. Cefo, is the bread you brought yesterday still there?"

"You're gonna give him that bread, Top?" Cefo called the old man Top.

"Of course, look at his body, so thin and... Pale. Miss, are you okay?" Top took a chair and gave it to Sofia.

Sofia hesitated, yet she could not resist it.

"Thank you, my skin is like this." Sofia tried to smile.

Top raised both of his eyebrows, between understanding and being confused.

Cefo walked over with a plate filled with sandwiches. He gave it to Sofia.

"Eat."

"Thank you.." Sofia Murmured.

Cefo walked back to the kitchen, because there was a stove and oven large enough.

Top took a seat and sat down beside Sofia.

Sofia immediately took the sandwich and ate it, it tasted more delicious than yesterday's wheat porridge.

"Is it delicious?"

Sofia nodded.

"It's delicious, I love it. Yesterday's porridge felt like vomit." Sofia said slowly.

Top laughed out loud at Sofia's words.

"Did you eat that porridge? Jesus, did Ben give it to you?"

Sofia nodded slowly.

"If you're lucky, we can find a delicious meal. Otherwise, we'll eat that porridge every day, even roasting rats passing by on the ship." Top explained.

Sofia stopped eating and looked at the sandwich.

"Let's just calm Miss, it's beef." Top laughed out loud.

Sofia almost spewed out the sandwich from her stomach, but Top's statement kept her afloat and continued to eat the rest of her sandwich, to be honest Sofia was very hungry, the cold weather kept her hungry.

"Does this place feel bad, miss?"

Sofia said nothing. But Top realized his fear.

"Let's take a walk after you're done eating." Top smiled then patted Sofia on the head gently.

Sofia finished her meal quickly. Cefo gives her warm tea water after seeing Sofia finish her bread. He was glad the sandwich was finished.

"Miss, come here if you're hungry." Cefo smiled broadly.

Sofia said nothing and just nodded, then walked up to Top who had already left the kitchen.
