Prepare to Go Home

Pace Island, February 1500.

The atmosphere of the dining room turned silent after the departure of Richi and Sofia.

Elie glanced at the lyrics towards Hades who was still busy with his food. He was upset as to why Hades was doing such an unnecessary thing. Had He been quiet, perhaps her young Miss would have finished her meal, her young Miss looked very exhausted today.

"Mr Hades.." Elie tried to say as calmly as possible even though her voice was shaking.

Hades looked at Elie and raised both eyebrows.

"Why did you do it?" Elie looked at Hades who was still eating the rest of the lobster on his side.

Only the two of them live at the table to eat. Madam Joy leaves after Sofia and Richi leave the table. He was too upset to see Hades who did not care the least about his cousin.

"Do what?" Hades stopped eating and returned to look at Elie who was looking at him with a serious look.

"Well.."

"Richard you mean?"

Elie nodded her head.

"They're going too far in circles."

"I'm just pushing them to get to the finish line faster." Hades again took the rest of the shrimp on his plate.

Elie tried to digest every word that came out of Hades' mouth.

He began to understand and nodded his head.

"Recycle your food. Joy's gonna be pissed if you leave her."

"Well.."

Elie stared at her plate which was still full of various kinds of dishes. He no longer asked and started chewing on the rest of his food.

Hades finished his meal first, Elie quickly finished hers, then he walked after Captain Hades.

"Sir.."

"Sir.."

Elie ran while holding her stomach which was aching from the satiety.

Hades looked back and saw Elie squatting down. He waited for Elie while turning on his cigar.

Ash-colored smoke billowed into the air, Hades blew it away before Joy found it.

"Sir.."

"When will Miss go back to Roseland?" Elie managed to catch up with Hades even though her stomach was still hurting.

"Ask Richi."

"He doesn't want me to interfere in his affairs." Hades is back sucking his cigar.

"You're going to the capital?"

"For what?"

"There's still a lot of work waiting for me."

"Well.."

"Are We going to use your Ship?"

"No need, the ship that brought you here will return tomorrow or the day after tomorrow."

"Really?"

Hades did not answer, He continued his delayed journey.

Sofia is still silent not answering the various questions that Richi asked her. They had already arrived in front of the Rose Pavilion.

Richie opened the door and went inside. Put Sofia down on the bed and then shut the door and lock her from the inside.

"What are you doing?" Sofia looked at Richi who was walking towards her.

"Tell me what you really think." Richi kneels in front of Sofia.

"Please Esme.."

"Tell me..." Richi buries his face in Sofia's thigh.

Sofia clenched both her hands. Actually He doesn't want to argue with Richi, He wants his relationship to be okay with Richi. Therefore He wants to try to express all his complaints. He wanted to solve everything, even though it would end up hurting him later.

"I don't want to go home.." Sofia's voice was shaking.

"Huh?" Richi looked at Sofia in confusion.

"I don't want to go home!"

"Why?"

"Why don't you want to go home?"

"I don't want to."

"You don't want to meet your father?" Richi clasped Sofia's clenched hand.

"I want to..."

"But.."

"What?"

"Tell me.."

Sofia weighed her words, whether she should say it or not.

"Tell me.." Richi kisses Sofia's hand gently.

"I began to doubt what you said.." Sofia.

"My word?"

"Yes.."

"I doubt you really love me.."

"God love.."

"I really love you.."

"My feelings for you are true..." Richi clasped Sofia's hand and stuck it to her chest that was beating fast.

"But why are you taking me home?!"

"Because I love you so much and want to marry you as soon as possible.." Richi sits on the bed and pulls Sofia into his arms.

"You.."

"You said that if I go home then I'll marry that old Duke!"

"I remember it clearly!"

"God..."

"My Lord..."

Richi let go of his embrace.

"Look.."

"I will never let anyone marry you!"

"Because only I will do it!" Richi clasped Sofia's shoulder.

"Really?"

"Really?"

"Well.."

"I won't do it."

Elie had only dared to enter the Rose Pavilion when Richi had already left Sofia alone. He did not want to interrupt their conversation and make things worse.

"Miss.."

"I'm going in.."

The door opened, Elie entered quickly and walked towards Sofia who was lying down.

"Miss.."

"Is everything okay?" Elie sat down next to Sofia.

"Well.."

"Can we go home soon?" Sofia's eyes sparkled when she saw Elie.

"We'll be home soon Miss!!"

"We'll be home when the Marine ships land!"

"Tomorrow I'll check it out as early as possible!"

Sofia laughed out loud looking at Elie's extremely excited expression.

"Jeez Elie, my tears came out seeing all your behavior!" Sofia rubbed the corner of her already watery eyes.

"Well.."

"I'm so glad to hear that, Miss.."

"Are you not hungry? You ate very little."

"No, no.."

"I'm fine..."

"Really?"

"Yes.."

"We'd better get some sleep, I'm so tired today."

Elie stood up and turned off the light that was still on.

The sun was shining so quickly, that Sofia felt that she had just closed her eyes a few minutes ago. But the bright light again made him glare and wake up.

Elie was nowhere to be seen in bed, only Sofia was there.

The sound of birds chirping began to be heard from inside the room, some people were running around outside busy with their respective work.

Sofia sat down and blinked her eyes a few times.

He raised both his hands up and straightened his legs. Sofia looked at the bullet scar on her stomach and rubbed it slowly.

"It doesn't hurt."

"Thank God.."

Sofia stood up and went to wash her face. The cold water immediately hit his tired face and made him feel refreshed.

"Miss.."

With Elie's voice coming from the room, Sofia leaves the bathroom and runs to Elie.

"Yes.." Sofia ran while tying her long hair up and rolling it so as not to bother.

"What's wrong?" Sofia looked at Elie who looked confused.

"A. ."

"The ship is anchored Miss.."

"Really?"

"We're really going home?"

"Yes.." Elie tries to look as normal as possible.

"What's wrong?" Sofia approached the sweaty Elie.

"No, Miss.."

"We'd better have breakfast, then leave immediately." Elie gently pulled Sofia's arm and walked towards the dining room that looked empty.

"Where is everyone?" Sofia looked in all directions, but no one could see her.

"Well.."

"They're at work, miss.."

"Let's eat..."

"Is that so?" Sofia raised both eyebrows. He did not ask any further and decided to take some toast and a glass of warm milk.

After finishing breakfast, Elie helps Sofia pack up and change clothes. Madam Joy was already waiting outside the Rose Pavilion.

"Miss Sofia..."

"This place will again lose its light..."

"Go back to visit whenever you want." Madam Joy hugged Sofia tightly.

"Sure, Madam.."

"Thank you for the warm welcome."

"And have treated my wounds.." Sofia held onto her stomach scar.

Madam Joy wiped the tears that came out at the corner of her eyes. She nodded and hugged Sofia again.

Sofia and Elie are escorted by Chris to the waterfront. Because Hades doesn't let people roam around the beach.

Sofia looked left and right, and she did not see Hades anywhere. Suspicion began to approach him.

"Elie's.." Sofia looked at Elie seriously.

"Miss.."

"Let's go up..."

A Navy Captain helps Sofia board the ship, Elie does not let Sofia ask further. He does not want his return with Sofia to be hampered.

After Elie and Sofia are on board, the Captain begins giving orders to develop the sail. And the sails expanded quickly, and the ship really sailed.

"Elie's.."

"My aircrafts!"

"Where's Richi?!" Sofia looked at Elie angrily.
