Sofia's Crazy Plan

"I'm going to run away!!"

That's the crazy thing that Sofia suddenly had in mind.

"Like some books I've read before."

"If it's not wrong the title is 'Marry run' if it's not wrong."

"I'll leave so that the meeting with the old Duke won't happen."

Sofia started packing some clothes and took some money for her supplies later.

"Ah, I'll leave you a letter."

"I don't want to worry him."

Sofia took a piece of paper from the drawer and started writing using a pen with black ink. When he finished, he folded it neatly and placed it on the study table so that his father could find it easily.

"Okay, it's done." He looked at the wall clock, the new long needle showing the number 6, but it was already very dark outside.

"It's the first time I've been out of the house unaccompanied."

"Will it be okay?"

Sofia started to feel doubtful, but her memory of the servant talking about her getting married to the old Duke kept ringing in her ears. Then Sofia rounded up her determination again and walked out of her room with a sneak.

She has been stinging her way out of her big house, but it is unlucky for Sofia. Ron, his father's waitress is guarding the entrance and exit in front of him. Sofia racked her brain to trick Ron.

Sofia puts her big bag in a dark corner, then she walks up to Ron and tells him that Lesley calls him in the back.

Without feeling the slightest bit suspicious, Ron ran out of his place. Lesley is his wife who is pregnant.

"Ah, I'm lucky."

"I'm sorry, Ron."

Quickly, Sofia picked up her big bag and ran away from her house.

Marquess Jasper's family home is in the countryside. Almost all of the places there are the property of the Sofia family. So that there was no house in the area, other than the residence of Marquess Jasper.

A few workers who had not returned greeted Sofia kindly. They do not know that Sofia is running away from her home.

After exiting her neighborhood, Sofia was able to find a horse carriage passing by.

He stopped her quickly, then asked her coachman to drive her to a nearby town.

At first the coachman refused because he was suspicious of Sofia's behavior, but after Sofia took out a few pieces of gold, the coachman agreed happily.

The journey feels so long, probably because Sofia is haunted by feelings of guilt for her father. However, she was already determined to end her marriage to the old Duke.

"Miss, will you stay?" The horse-drawn carriage looked back.

"Ah, I'll stay the night."

"But I need dinner sir."

"Is there a place to stay that provides dinner?"

"There's a place Miss.."

"But..."

"Why?"

"This place is usually crowded with drinkers and women is not good."

"Well.."

"Is the place cheap?"

"That place is very affordable Miss.."

"Maybe about 1 piece of gold for 1 night."

Sofia reached into her gold bag, only 10 pieces of gold left in there, she had to survive the next few days.

Without a second thought, Sofia agreed to the suggestion of the Horse carriage driver.

They turn in a fairly sharp bend, the smooth road turns into a rocky road that makes Sofia's body thrown around violently.

"Are you okay Miss?"

"I'm fine, keep looking ahead."

Sofia held onto the window tightly, she did not want to be thrown any harder. Her entire body was crumbling, this was the first time Sofia had gone through such a bad path.

After quite a while, the Horse carriage driver stopped his pace. They stopped in front of a fairly old inn. There's a name engraved 'Je souffre et aime'.

Sofia starts to feel hesitant to go down, but she has no other choice. The horse carriage drove back and left him.

He walked towards the door, slowly venturing to push the old and broken door inside. He peeked out from behind the open door. Smelling the aroma of liquor from within, various kinds of burning tobacco smoke in the air.

He covered his nose and coughed several times as he inhaled smoke.

"I don't want to go in.."

"How is God."

Suddenly from behind, someone pushed the door quite forcefully, Sofia almost fell down but quickly the big hand held her body.

"Thank you." said Sofia, then she turned her head and saw who was helping her.

A man of great stature, with a sunburned skin color. This man was also dressed quite strangely. He was wearing only a leather vest, with tights and black boots.

His aura looks calm, but seems cruel. His eyes were extremely sharp, like many dark secrets stored within his body.

Everyone stared at the man and started whispering.

"Captain Hades, a man known to Sofia walked over.

"You're that weird guy!" Sofia pointed at Ben's face without the slightest fear.

"Ah, you're the Miss who was at the park." Ben laughed loudly to see Sofia in a place like that.

"It turns out you're just a cheap woman, not a Lady" she added.

"What do you mean?"

Sofia could not accept that the man said such a thing to her.

"There's no way a Lady could be in a place like this."

Sofia then looked around, in this place there were only a group of drunkards and women who wore minimal clothes circling with trays and glasses.

"Oh, my gosh." Sofia closed her gaping mouth in surprise to see a young woman sitting on top of a drunken man laughing.

"How much are you, Miss.." Disrespectfully Ben began to caress Sofia's face. The never-abused Sofia screamed as Ben's rough hand touched her soft, silk-like cheek.

Everyone who was there looked towards Sofia quickly, then they saw Captain Hades just silently without showing any expression.

"Who is this young lady Ben?" Hades sees Sofia as he becomes interested.

"She's the woman I met at the park while waiting for Mr. Richi, Captain."

"Is that so?"

"What's your name Miss?" Hades pulled a pinch of Sofia's curls.

"I won't say it!"

"Take off my hair."

Captain Hades looked at Sofia's brave countenance and did not show the slightest fear towards her.

"Where's Richi?"

"Mr Richi is with the woman above you."

"Geez.."

"It seems like my arrival is disturbing."

"Mr Richi is waiting for you since then, but some young women tease him Mr."

"Of course, no one will stand to see our Richi."

Sofia's heart was pounding so hard when the two men in front of her were talking about the same person she met at the park this afternoon.

Not long after, a man descended from the upper room, with several beautiful young women clinging tightly to his body.

Richi was still wearing the same clothes he had been wearing this afternoon. Complete with his stretcher boots that turned out to be bright brown when exposed to light.

As soon as Sofia's heart felt like it was going to explode, her body would fall drooping if Sofia did not hold tightly to the handle of the chair next to her.

Richi's gaze stopped on Sofia. Richi still clearly remembers the woman who was brave enough to kick the crew of Captain Hades. He will never forget that face.

Captain Hades watched from a distance, he kept watching the young lady who kept staring at the very man he was very familiar with with a gaze that could be said to be full of love and hope.

As well as Richi, he looked at the young lady for a long time, this was the first time Hades had seen her like that.

Everyone started to get busy again with their drinks. Richi lets go of the woman who continues to linger on her body by force, she walks towards Captain Hades who is standing looking at her with a strange look.

"When did you come?" Richi asks Hades, but his eyes remain on Sofia.

"I just arrived, but something caught my eye."

"Tell me."

Sofia walks away, she doesn't want to interrupt other people's conversations and knows the place. He pushes Ben's body which continues to follow him.

Ben just giggled at Sofia's behavior.

"It seems you like the young lady." Hades opened his eyes several times.

"Omong empty!" Richie answered quickly.

"But you keep looking at him passionately like that."

"What-like?"

"As you do now."

"Ah, fuck!"

"Do we have to kidnap him and take him on board?" Hades frowned.

"What do you think, Ben?"

"Sounds like it too?"

"I'd be so happy Captain!!" Ben was excited to hear the Captain's suggestion.

"Do not do anything that is not."

"This place is close to the capital."

"I don't want the old woman to notice my arrival."

"All right, Mr. Richi." Ben didn't say anything anymore.

Hades smiled meaningfully.

Notes :

The inn 'Je souffre et aime' means suffering and love is a place to stay as well as a very shabby drinking place. It is usually visited by drunkards who do not have much money, robbers, gamblers, and troublemakers. Sometimes several groups of pirates came to make a scene. It's on the edge of town. The road access there is very bad.
