The sound of an owl rang out in the darkness of the night. The night bird perched on a tree just above Sean, Jessica and Gordon. They sat on an elongated wooden bench.
In front of them was a rickety hut all made of wood. The hut was like a former store that had long lived in its owner.
In the place where Sean was sitting, there was also a table that was just as long as the bench Sean was riding on. Then there was a fire that lit up their night. Jessica sat on the edge of the fire, burning corn.
"By the way, how did you guys get in this place?" gordon said to ask. He was curious, he thought the two children were ghosts in this village.
"We're actually lost" Sean replied.
"Missed?"
"That's because of the evil witch who made us like this?" Jessica says.
"Blind witch?" Gordon's massaging his chin. No, he had a gray white beard, so Gordon massaged his beard. Hearing the word blind witch, Gordon was able to take his own perspective in his mind. "Don't tell me he wants you, young man?" he told Sean.
He looked at Sean full of intrigue. The child's face was again the attention of anyone who saw it. "Is it true what I said?"
"I don't know why they want me. They just want me to marry them. And, yes, you see for yourself. We ended up like this" Sean complained.
"Hm," hearing this confession, Gordon knew what was really going on. "You must want to go to the city of Saranjana, right?"
"really. We want to go there" Jessica said. She said that, Jessica was getting excited to hear it. "That's why we got lost in this village full of spirits."
"Hear your stories. It should be true, you're that Lausius."
Sean again had to be upset at the words of Lausius. He's not what they say he is. What a power to Sean, everyone in this place says he's Lausius. Sean felt burdened when people said that.
"He's Sean," Jessica told me. "He's not Lausius. He's my most genius friend. So I say again, it's Sean, not Lausius!" jessica said.
"No matter who Sean is or who. All the blind witches see him as Lausius." Gordon persisted. He believed what he had to believe. "So accept the fate that this handsome boy has always been the target of all creatures in this place. The Lausius," he said scare.
"Huh, I shouldn't have entered this place. Everyone said Lausius, Lausius, Lausius. Ah, I'm tired of hearing it," Sean said. He nags, whoever sees him, always says the same words.
Sean was really confused, who was Lausius? Why is he always associated with Lausius. Sean was fed up with himself being called Lausius. Sean had really not known Lausius before, and also, the aura as mentioned by the creatures he had encountered before. Of course makes Sean even more upset if he remembers.
Gordon looked at Sean closely. It should be true that Gordon's guess is that Sean is Lausius. This fat man was so unique, he sat down while cleaning his teeth.
One of his teeth looked like a stone. He pulled out the tooth, because something was stuck between his teeth. Maybe corn shrunk in those cavities. To make his teeth feel sore, and he began his slovenly action. Prying the remnants of corn that went into his hollow teeth. He exploited his already big cavities.
"Ih," Sean was a bit goosebumps looking at her behavior. "Did your tooth come from a stone?" ask Sean. Although Sean shuddered in horror to see it, but he was curious.
Gordon pulled back the rough black stone stuck in his teeth, then showed it to Sean. "I got it in the southern forest last year" he told me. "You want to see?" deal with Sean.
Sean would not want to take the stone, even though he actually felt a bit disgusted. The size of the gravel is about the size of his thumb. Sean observed the stone clearly, it was jet black. The surface is rough, and hard. Sean tapped the stone on the wooden table in front of him, and sure enough. It's a rock, very hard. So big were Gordon's teeth that the stone fit in his gum cavity between the crevices of the teeth. Sean thought, Gordon was so creative, that the little pebble could be a replacement for his teeth.
"This is your tooth?" Sean compared the stone to Gordon's teeth. He was amazed, only this time he met a creature that made stones as teeth.
The fat man was suddenly dumbstruck when Sean mocked him so. This is the first time Gordon has ever said his teeth are as big as that stone. "Hey son," he said. "You think I'm a giant who has teeth that big?" the gerutu is a bit sewot.
"I'm just guessing. Really," said Sean innocently. "I'm not saying you're a giant!"
This fat man pulled up Sean's neck, then brought Sean's face closer to his round face. Open his mouth as wide as possible. "You see!" tell it. "Two of my teeth were lost when I fought with the spirits and also the Gorts. I often feel pain every night because my teeth start to hole. It's all because I accidentally hit a tree on the other end" he said.
Sean blinked his eyes repeatedly. What an interesting confession. Moreover, the smell of his mouth was unbearable to inhale. "How did that happen? Are you being less careful?" Sean's worried.
This fat man took his gravel in Sean's hand, then put it back in his hollow tooth like a grave. "Actually I'm careless. As I fought, I didn't see the trees kissing my beautiful mouth!" he said, remembering. "But that's the silliness of the past. Right now my teeth have been fixed by a stone that has become part of my life," at the end of the sentence, this fat man laughed out loud. He showed his teeth tucked in the stone through his best smile.
"Can you not smile" said Sean, who was amused to see his smile wide but there was a disturbance between the white teeth. "When you smile. The stone looks like a black diamond between your teeth. And.... Your mouth is very stinky. I hate it when he gets in my nose, like a carcass!"
Sean held his breath for a while. The smell of his mouth was unusually fiery, like a rat carcass. Oh, Sean's nose feels nauseous inhaling that scent.
Sean's words are heart-piercing. This is the first time that fat Gordon has been insulted by the boy. Instantly, that wide smile turned into a melancholy. "Yes, you're right. I haven't taken care of my teeth in a year!" concluded lethargic.
Actually Gordon last year fought in this place against the spirits and Gort. Because there was a wind storm that suddenly appeared, Gordon who was fighting did not see the tree trunk. Then this collision happened. The storm disrupted his concentration in battle. So that resulted in two teeth broken even toothless until the story uses a stone as a substitute for his missing teeth that makes the story more ridiculous.
"If you lost your teeth a year ago, does that mean you've been here for years?" Jessica interrupted. He was curious, the girl came to the conclusion that he thought was best. "Is my guess right?"
Gordon shook his head. Not because he rejected Jessica's conclusion, but the boy managed to correctly deduce his story.
Sean also agrees with Jessica's guess. Sean guessed that this man had been in this desolate village for a long time. "If you lost your teeth a year ago because of the battle against the spirits. That means, you know this place well?" sean added a conclusion.
"No," Gordon argued.
"No?" Jessica says. "You mean not..... Is, you haven't been here in a long time?"
Gordon shaking. "What I mean. I don't really understand this place!" inexplicably. "My point is, I only know this village up to the end of a small hill in the middle of the forest. The rest, I don't know anything about this place."
"Hum," Sean's back to the belief. "If you don't understand this place very well. That means you're not from here. Is it really like that?"
"What do you mean, we can't get out of here?" Jessica says. Cut the bear man's talk like this bandit.
"That's right," Gordon chimps. "I've been over the years in this dead village. But until now, I have not found a way out. You could say I've been trapped in this village of spirits."
"stuck?" Sean thinks that's not the cause. "You're not actually stuck here" Sean said. "But you're being held by the spirits."
"What do you mean Sean?" Jessica asked curiously.
"You know very well about this, Jessica" replied Sean. "Actually, the master of the mattress here has a bond with the spirits. This can be proven by the greatness of the master of the mattress that is able to defeat the spirits. I'm sure, Mr. Mattress is held back by those spirits because there's a bond."
"Hey, stop calling me Mr. Nak's bed" Gordon scolded. "Just call me Gordon. The mighty fortress, with no master mattress in your every speech," he recalled.
"Whoever it is, still you look like a walking mattress," Jessica sneered. He is most able in the business of demeaning others.
Gordon wasn't angry, he was basically the walking bed. "What do you want to call?" said surrender. The look on his face looked a little like someone who was wailing.
"Okay, we're back to the subject" Sean started again. "Can you tell me where you came from here. Then, I'm sure, Mr. Mattress would understand this place. Because I saw some spirits wearing armor, just like you wear!"
"Hm...." Gordon tidied up his mustache. He looked at the sky above, as if reminiscing about something. "I really don't know who those soldiers are. But I'm trying to remember."
Sean started his behavior again. He becomes a loyal listener in meaningful speech. Ah, Sean likes history, in that man's words must contain a story of the past. And, the bed man started his story.
****
Many years ago. This village is a very populated village. As a stopover for the cross-city merchants. Traders from the North, south, east, southwest and from all directions, they will stop at this place.
This place is very interesting, because it is in a wide forest path. And the only village that's never deserted.
This village was once very crowded, the residents grow crops. Produce the food provided by nature, and they manage it. Until one of the vandals from the island of Hurian know that this place contains iron seeds as the main raw material for making war weapons and various kinds of poisonous plants that can not be found on their island there down here.
The Hurians are determined to get and control this place. Whatever the way, they should be the rulers of this prosperous village. Including by wanting to make the village elders careless with their ridiculous offer.
Because the village elders did not want to submit to the rules offered by the Hurians, they submitted a deal.
Even the contents of the deal only benefited some parties and harmed the villagers. Without anyone knowing, the deal rejected by the villagers actually brought Mala calamity.
The vandals of the Hurian secretly attacked and oppressed the villagers brutally and blindly. In that night, the Hurians burned, oppressed, banned and killed with cruelty on top of the cruelty of hell. They do it without any guilt. After mastering everything they wanted, they finally left this place.
This village eventually became ashes in an instant.
This incident reached the city of Saranjana. Hearing the news of the death of the entire population, some soldiers who were part of the war team, were plunged into this place. And unfortunately, those soldiers never returned after being assigned here.
Me, as the chief combat soldier. The last few years have involved themselves. Look at the remnants of this battle. But baby, what I saw made me stupefied.
Hundreds of people were already bathed in blood in this place. All my soldiers, the warlords, and the villagers, all are lifeless. After I searched, the Hurians not only killed, but also took the heirloom sword they had long sought from the village guards.
Before they attack and kill people with their poison. The gort and mosarus also attack this place just want to find prey. Children, pregnant women and all villagers should be on alert at all times. The attack will arrive at any time.
When I entered this village. What is seen are the carcasses lying around. None of them survived. Except, one of my soldiers died a few days ago in the temple on a hill in the forest.
He survived after hiding inside the temple. And me, here's been a while. Looking for a way out, I couldn't find my way in the end.
Like that's the story I still remember, the rest maybe I forgot every detail of the incident.

Gordon explained at length. As usual, Sean enjoyed the horror stories of the past.
Sean thought, shortly after Gordon said that the people here died sadistically because of the attack of the Hurians. That was before this mass death. Most likely the picture on a large rock outside the village was carved before the villagers died from poison from the island of Hurian. So strange the suffering faced by the villagers.
As Sean was deducing the story, suddenly this dark and silent village turned bright.
The lights were lit along the street, the houses were filled with many people. People go back and forth on the village road while leading their pets like big tigers, horses, lions. Everything's in tandem.
The children laughed happily, playing jumping around using ropes from flexible rattan. Then making a game is like making a line on the ground, then throwing it precariously and kicking it into the box after box drawn on the ground.
Then, the laughter of the children was very carefree. Sean saw it all, slightly smiling. They are so happy with the typical life of the villagers. Jessica patted Sean's shoulder hard.
"What are you thinking, Sean?" ask Jessica curiously.
Sean suddenly woke up. It was just a shadow in the past. "No... I didn't think of anything!" sean answered briefly.
Sean saw the village was very crowded. Though at first glance, this place is very beautiful. Lights decorate the streets.
SERIATE.
