The Adventure Of Lord Lausius

The Adventure Of Lord Lausius
Episode 136's

Sean went deeper into the forest. Just like before, the forest here the trees were glowing, there was a mushroom arising from the ground. Exuding beautiful light, colorful.

All unique. It makes everyone feel like they are in a dream. But it's real, it's not just a dream, Sean's sure of it.  Sean arrived at a lake, there was a small lake there after passing the path. There's a waterfall, and..... Sean found a cloak. Good, that black burka is thick. Simply make anyone's body warm when wearing the thick burka.

Sean got it from a branch of trees, someone left it there. Around the lake there were many tall bushes, Sean was sure. Someone hiding behind there, will definitely not be found by anyone.

Sean was wearing the black robe as if it was destined to be his, the robe was fitting for Sean. There's a head covering, and Sean's using it. Covering his head, so that only a mysterious face looks. But not covering up the possibility, the light in Sean's body still penetrated the fabric space of the robe he was wearing. But at least this is better.

“Is anyone there?”

While directing all his attention, Sean raised his voice. His one hand took the robe and immediately put it on, while his eyes expanded. Looking for something or someone that might be around this lake.

“Is anyone there?” sean repeated.

†††††

Sean's eyes were sidetracked when there was a sound from the bushes behind the boulder. The stone was near the waterfall, Sean was curious at the sound that shook these thorny bushes.

“Can't it be if there's someone here except me?”

Sean's hand opened the bush, his eyes panted to see something behind it. Sean interrupted around the bush, as Sean turned his head under his feet....

“Oh..... Rat!!”

Sean was not surprised, basically the rodent had already bitten the ancient boot he was wearing. It's just, a huge body shape. That's why it's so weird to see that wild rat. Sean had thought that the rodent was a cat.

“Hey buddy, you don't bother me. Go there, this is not your place.”

Sean kicked the big mouse, until his body bounced and then disappeared behind the bushes. The splashing sound of water adds to the typical atmosphere of the lake. Then... oh, Sean's voice echoed here. Talking in a low-octane voice, it feels like using a loudspeaker.

But from behind that bush. Sean's eyes looked.... Many skulls. Yes, Sean saw there were some skulls that had been left to dry. Sean approached him, and the curiosity made Sean try to examine the skull covered in weathered robes.

“Here also there are many skulls. I guess it's just in that desert. Weird.”

At least, Sean felt that this place was also ambiguous. But Sean remembered the word Medusa.

“If it had been out of the desert border, I should have found a golden river where there was a small lifeboat there. Then I will be led to flow into the golden river Mosapus. Why can't I find it here. Except...... Only forest and... cadaver.”.

Sean was a little confused when he did not find a golden river or a small lifeboat outside the desert border door. Unlike Medusa, however, there is at least some truth to what Medusa said. If he doesn't find the little lifeboat, Sean will find the forest. And it could be, this is what Sean found.

“Any. Maybe the door shifted when I came out of the Medusa desert. So I didn't find that door. Or, basically I wasn't meant to find that little lifeboat?”

I don't know, Sean feels weird. Sean widened his eyes. Now that it makes Sean inexhaustible. So many skulls were sprawled near the lake, while Sean himself used one of the same robes— as the dry skulls.

“They died apparently from hunger and exhaustion. Added to the very cold night air around the lake, this possibility that makes them end up as corpses.”

Sean closed his nose, as the pungent smell grew stronger. Scattering into Sean's pointy nose, it was as if the corpses that remained of this bone had only been dead for a few days. In reality, Sean understood. It must have been years that this corpse was in this dark lake.

Sean glanced back when this dark place had light. Sean's eyes quickly received another light stimulus, other than himself and Ligong. Sean knew, here the only thing glowing was him and the black tiger.

“Who are you!”

Sean quickly brandished his greatsword at someone standing behind him. A woman, carrying a lantern.

“You...”.

The woman nodded with a smile. “I don't think we'll see each other again this time Sean. It turns out we met again here,” said the woman, who is none other than Jessica.

“Wait!” when Jessica wanted to approach him. Sean realized, if there's really something strange. “Are you sure you are...”.

“Of course I'm Jessica, Sean!”

“Jessica?”

The woman nodded. “Do you not recognize me anymore Sean?”

“No, no, no.” Sean quickly nodded. “I guess I...”.

“I'm here Sean. There's no way I'm a ghost.”

Sean frowned, a bit awkward.  Um, Sean's confused. There was something strange about seeing this woman he knew the most. But not knowing what, it is difficult to describe it.

“If you're right Jessica, where are the others. Gordon, Crypto and his guards.”

“They....”.

“Aren't you with them before?”

Jessica quivered, the face that had previously been grim, had now turned into a wistful one.

“They...... It's behind you.”

“Wait. Mu mean.... You're not boasting, are you?”

Sean rolled his eyes, looking around. True, there are indeed many skulls, but unlike Crypto and others. Sean knew Jessica was saying they were all gone, while she was the one who survived.

Sean has it, what clothes are they wearing. And..... Oh, Sean remembers. Gordon uses a large gondola as his weapon. But Sean did not see it among all the skulls covered in robes. Before Sean parted ways with Gordon and the others, they didn't wear robes, except.... Crypto. Only he Sean remembers wearing those clothes.

And, what makes Sean weird is, it's only been a few days that they've been apart. Then why are the remaining bodies of the skull has dried up, as if these skulls have long died even though the scent of the carcass is still strengthening. Sean felt something strange here.

“Sean.... Me...”

Strange, why did all this happen.

“You why?” ask Sean.

“I....”.

Sean, who was flicking his eyes at all the skulls, suddenly saw Jessica shudder. He staggered, Sean quickly caught his body from falling over.

“Hei. You're okay, aren't you?”

“I..... Me....”

Jessica suddenly fainted, shortly after seeing Sean's face. Even gently touching her face.

“He seems exhausted.”

“That kid, are you sure he survived?”

Zurry shook his head when he got a cliche question from Zumirh. While looking at the solemnity of his sword that he was repairing, not once did Zurry's gaze disappear from the sword of his pride.

“So..... You....”.

“Cannot be denied, the boy will die at the hands of the greedy giant. I assure you, he will not survive.”

“So sure about Lausius's safety?”

Zurry nodded, just like before. His gaze did not change, remaining focused on cleaning the shiny sword.

“If you want, please try. I guarantee you, at the bottom of that cave you won't be able to get out of the cursed place of the greedy giant. I can't hold you if you insist. I'm also not sure you'll survive, or be able to get out easily from that place.”

“Crazy...”

Thought Zumirh, where might he come there. Moreover, having to plunge down, it was the same as suicide. Zumirh knew exactly what was going to happen down there.

“Haha.... I thought you were going to be stupid. Repeating your behavior like a few days ago.”

“Hei. If it wasn't for that Lausius, I might have fought Medusa.”

Zumirh quibbled, he did a defense. He is lazy if he has to be in the corner in a mistake. Zurry only clucked, occasionally glancing at Zumirh cynically, but not for long. Because Zurry's focus was fixed on his weapon, he didn't have time to take care of Zumirh or say at length to her.

“But, by the way. Did you really give up not wanting to get that Lausius. Isn't this your dream of getting that Lausius?”

Back, Zumirh offended. Hearing Zumirh's words, Zurry paused for a moment on his activities. Leaving his seat, Zurry turned to the manuscripts on the walls of their palace.

“You how else. We are destined not to have that Lausius. Do I have to force destiny—agar obey my will?”

“Ckckc.... Kayah,” decak Zumirh is upset. “I thought you'd be excited to welcome Lausius. In fact, you gave up.”

“Not my will. But fate changed him.”

Uli the way hastily, leading to the throne of Elius. Arriving there, he immediately bowed down before Elius, then said with a hunting breath.

“Pardon my servant the great lord just reported this news now!”

“Say slowly. No need to rush so.”

Elius was enjoying the pleasure of closing his eyes. While in the fan by some of the palace ladies, it feels more delicious when the gusts of wind hit the pores of his skin.

“It..... The Lausius..”.

“Lausius?” elius quickly felt excited as he discussed the name. “Say. What's wrong with Lausius.”

“Sang Lausius..

Elius scrunched his forehead, he grew curious. The hand that had originally propped up his cheek, was now sitting normally. Every now and then Elius glanced at Nekabudzer, the man nodded slowly. Somewhile. But Nekabudzer understood, Elius asked him to hear clearly Uli's intentions.

“I heard, that Lausius fell into the giant hole of the gondola.”

“Hou..... Really?”

“Really Sir,” nod Uli. “He died in that giant hole. I heard, he said he wouldn't survive.”

“Who said that?” elius asked a little interrogating. “Say.”

Uli, the more downcast, should this news make this ambitious man in his opinion shocked in disbelief. But it was different, he looked relaxed.

“Zumirh and Zurry. I heard them say so.”

“Eh..... What if he didn't die in that hole. Are they sure they have confirmed it correctly?”

“True Sir. They watched it themselves.” back, Uli nodded.

No, Elius did not believe. Although Uli was put in place to spy on the two demons, Zumirh and Zurry. Not that Elius would believe this news completely.

“Nekabudzer,” shrewd Elius interrupts. “Say, are you sure the boy will die if he gets into that hole?”

“According to me. Anyone who goes in there, will certainly end up being a bone in vain. But do not know whether the child managed to escape or not, we need to make sure.”

Nekabudzer explained as he knew it. The rest, Nekabudzer had never experienced it. Or entering that hole, he never dreamed of going in there.

Elius smiled obliquely, snorting coldly. “If so, then we need to investigate it first.”

Elius glanced at Uli, the woman bowed when he saw Elius' sharp eyes. Highlight the cold eyes, as if pulling him to get in there.

“I sir.”

Quickly, Uli understood it. He knew, surely Elius would command himself again this time to get into the hole.

“You certainly know what your duty is,” said Elius. He didn't need to explain it, only needed to interrupt Uli with a sharp look in his eyes. That woman must understand.

“Te—of Mr.” Rather hesitating, Uli answered him accordingly.

“Then, don't linger here. Do it as soon as possible, don't let me down this time.”

“Good Sir. I'll do it ”

After saying, Uli passed. He left Elius' palace.

Elius folded his lips, the corner of Elius' lips began to show a side of petty scorching. Uli has disappeared from the eye of Elius, this man looks increasingly shortsighted.

“If he survives, then I will release him. But if not, then he is an offering for the greedy.”

“You tried to offend him!” nekabudzer.

“Uli has been with us for a long time. And this is enough to make him rest for good.”

Nekabudzer shook his head, Elius's petty mind was truly cunning. By commanding Uli down to the hole, is not the same as killing his subordinates. The ingenious path of thought, Nekabudzer admitted it. But that's the wrong thought.

“You sure you want to reply to all Uli services in this way?”

“There is no other reason?” Elius shrugged both of his shoulders. Likely, this is his absolute piehan.

“Eh.... I think you're ignoring that woman too much. If you're more critical, then you just have to sacrifice some Gort instead of feeding Uli.”

Elius smiled obliquely, again the petty face was unfathomable.

“We'll see later.”
