The Adventure Of Lord Lausius

The Adventure Of Lord Lausius
Episode 91's

A few moments before

On the side of the river, Driyad, who had laid his body near Amuria, realized that the two children had been traveling long enough.

Driyad waited, but he wasn't worried. Both are not far from the river, there is nothing to think about. In the direction where Sean and Jessica went. "Maybe they are eating the fruit until they are full, soon they will return" he said without any hesitation.

Slowly, Amuria began to wake up. When he opened his eyes, faintly what appeared to be the huge body of the wolf. His body was still a bit weak, but, the poison had already slowly reduced.

"You awake?" Driyad. The mighty body shook its head violently. To the right to the left, maybe he felt the influence because of the poison of the arrow. "You've just come to your senses, it's best to take a break first" Driyad suggested.

Amuria let out a long breath, the smoke of weather vapors coming out from her nose. Amuria was indeed weak, too risky if she left in an injured state. It's true, take a short break on the edge of this clear creek. Near the fire, it had been a long time since there was a fire there. Amuria was not a human being who could light a fire, so the presence of the hot element made her somewhat Bernadi.

Amuria resumed her sleep, closed her eyes, but did not fall asleep. He realized, the rotten creatures will attack at any time. Amuria recalled the incident earlier, she met two human children. The faces of the two children gleamed in his shadow. The more closed eyes want to avoid the shadow of Sean and Jessica, inexplicably it makes him feel there is something different from the child.

"He who? She's weird. He is different from the kids in general. He, like..... There was an aura that could make all beings submit to him. Her..... It was like having a double soul. A strong soul, a soul that can make others feel that he..... Is, the boy. Could she...?"

"What's wrong?" Driyad. Amuria's body looks unsettled, sometimes to the left sometimes to the right. Rubbing and sweeping the ground. "Why do you look so nervous? What makes you so silent? Did you think of anything that stuck?"

"Who's the kid you brought?" Amuria asked. "Where did you bring him? Where did you find the boy?"

Driyad thought, there were no other two children who were meant by Amuria were Sean and Jessica. "Sean and Jessica," she answered briefly. "What's wrong? What's with those two? Did they hurt you?" driyad asked half-hunting in panic.

"Where are they now?"

Driyad turned to the back of his body. "They were foraging there," he pointed towards the giant orchard.

Amuria squinted her eyes, she focused towards where Sean and Jessica were going. "Why did you let them go unattended. You know, it's very dangerous there. Mosarus, at times like this, they will cross the cliff of the hill" Amuria reminded.

"I didn't realize this. I forget that at a time like this they'll go back south!" driyad said he admitted his negligence.

Sure enough, Driyad completely forgot. Mosarus often went back and forth everywhere, they were the natural enemies of Amuria. "I forgot. They must still be there."

"How long have they been gone?" ask Amuria.

"Almost an hour has passed."

"Buck!" Amuria knew, the children were already in a gripping situation. He forced himself to wake up from his sleep even though he himself was still weak helpless. "I have to go there" he said. Then he ran as fast and as he could. The shadow of the child's face attracted him to action.

"Where are you going? Your wounds have not fully recovered yet" Driyad reminded. That thing, he's full of mystery. It was unique for Driyad to see that he was not being fierce. The last time I saw him was at the border when he and Herren met this creature was fighting a great battle against Mosarus.

"It's much more important than leaving the kids behind" Amuria said. He turned his head for a while, Driyad had not yet moved from his leisurely leisure to enjoy the night's rest. "You want to come along, or you'll let them be Mosarus' delicacies!"

Right, he should come. The Driyad who guided the two while walking in this place. Passing manun, entering sadon, crossing the hill of Tuksila, also lake osirus. He's in charge of all this. Why now he's not worried about those kids. Driyad remembered, the last time he had fought with mosarus. His body was full of wounds, the creature was extremely powerful. "Those children are my responsibility, they are my friends."

Seeing that Amuria had already walked half away, there was no other choice. Just catching up with them, this is the last option. "Why are you so concerned about them?" Driyad asked, his steps had already equaled the steps of Amuria which had somewhat begun to slow down. Maybe because of the wounds on his body, so he could not freely walk. "Ehm.... If you remember, last time, you were apathetic to those kids. Then why do you care so much now."

The long fangs were really scary to look at. But not the name of Driyad if you have to be afraid to just see the long fangs are white and clean.

"That's none of your business" replied the cynical Amuria. His eyes glanced, but not for long. He hated staring at others, other than the opposite sex. "Never say anything familiar to me. Next time you'll have to remember!"

"He still hasn't changed" Driyad muttered softly.

Amuria who was sensitive to sounds, from the riverbank had already sensed something strange. He paused for a moment, closed his eyes. His ears followed the sound that went into his eardrum.

IGHH! IGHH! The sound of moans and screeches was heard behind the rock cliffs. The sound of a girl calling the name "Sean" of course this makes him sure, surely the two children are in trouble.

"What did you stop? Did you hear anything?" ask Driyad. He behaved suddenly, it was strange that the creature was silent.

"Really! They're in dangerous trouble" Amuria said. A moment after that, he immediately ran over. "They're there. They're in danger."

"Hey, what's going on!" shout Driyad.

Amuria did not answer him, she looked at Driyad for a moment, before she returned to focus on her path.

Amuria had guessed, the children were in trouble. From a distance of several meters, he saw Sean was already in a grip. Jessica was already lingering in the air, this was triggering the beaver Amuria.

THE GRRRR!! This moaning sound was terrifying. Amuria's roar was indeed her champion in thundering.

Because the muzzles were ready to accommodate delicious food, Amuria swiftly jumped into the air, then.... Hup..... This beast pounced on all the mosarus he saw.

Until all those creatures, end in tragic death.

Like that was the case. Sean thought they would perish in the noisy belly of Mosarus. His voice was shrill in the air. It's annoying to keep hearing it. His eardrums hurt as the voice shrieked loudly.

Sean, Jessica and Driyad are back. Their fire. The place was abandoned, they finally returned to the fire on the bank of the river.

Night has replaced day. Amuria was asleep in her sleep, near the fire, maybe she wanted to enjoy the warmth.

Near the fire, the four creatures sat enjoying the heat of the fire. Only Sean and Jessica are still confused. Sean was bored, he could not close his eyes. Just...... Doodling the ground, drawing perfunctions, then........ Sometimes they play with the burning fire. Surely bored if there is nothing in that place? Except... Just a place full of fantasy. All that is seen is beauty, a fallen piece of heaven. Sean thought about this earlier.

Jessica, who also sat down, was tired. He did not want to say, after all, he thought there was nothing to discuss. Eed, ah, maybe the crazy idea you've ever come across if you're talking about that kid. Losing her, an annoyance to Jessica.

From behind the bushes, Jessica heard something. The big grass swayed, while no wind passed. "Sean," Jessica whispered softly. "Don't you hear that voice?"

Winds. Likely, it was the wind that made a sound in the bushes. Sean glanced at Driyad, he also fell asleep. "Maybe the wind blows, you don't think too much of a no-no."

"No, Sean," Jessica said. "That's something different."

Sean thought, it's just something useless. Or the... A kind of forest rat that bothers. "You better get some sleep, tomorrow we're on our way." There was no other word, other than stopping Jessica's silly prank.

"Huh, she always does," Jessica grumbled. Sean's words made him prefer to sleep. The words had a point, Jessica laid her body on a big rock.

Sean did not sleep, he remained seated while propping his chin up in the hand. Pulling a lighted firewood. Ah, really annoying for Sean, he has to get into this strange place.

"Sleep Sean, you need to rest too" Jessica turned to her. He warned the boy, he was ignorant of orders. "You don't think too much. You need enough rest."

"You just sleep. Don't think too much of me" replied Sean briefly.

At least Jessica thought she had noticed her friend. He's a good friend, rarely find a friend like him. Jessica thought so.

But, Sean knew there was something behind the bushes that he had just discussed with Jessica. His eyes glanced sharply behind the bushes. The red sword he placed next to him.

Sean was sure there were creatures lurking around them. Slowly Sean approached the bushes. He pulled out those little leafy branches. Confidence makes him firm, that it..... Gorts.

Krasak crusks the sound behind the bush, making him even more curious. Sean, he quickly slashed at the rumbling grass.

ZRAASH! SHRINGS! ......Be exposed. Sean thought so. There was a dead creature that was hit by his sword. Sean opened the bushes, his heart asked? "Is that gort?"

But alas, he didn't find gort or anything, except..... A rat. The size is....****wooden. Sean estimated the magnitude of it so. As big as that rat was, he had already soiled Sean's red sword with his rotten blood.

Quite potent kill prey, at least the sword given by Dewi Handita is useful.

"I think he's gort. It sucks," Sean grumbled. It feels good because it's not the creature he found.

As Sean twisted his body, right in front of his face a pair of Amuria fangs stood scaring him. "Akh.." cried Sean in shock. He fell behind the bushes, the creature almost made him die of shock.

*Amuria is a long-fingered tiger. Usually living in relatively cold temperatures, they have thick, dense fur that allows them to refrain from the cold of snow.

Very large, three times the size of a tiger in general*.

SERIATE.
