Sean, he's taking the path to his left. Making the three men behind him confused. Surprisingly, Sean knew they had to go to the right.
But the boy took the opposite path.
Their journey had already half entered the forest on this left lane. The three of them had not dared to ask, but questions started to get stuck in Driyad's brain. So the man dared to ask. “Prince. Why we chose this path. Shouldn't we have gone through the road on the right, earlier.”
“I want to be different from the previous Lausius. I don't want to follow the same path. Which means I will also end up the same as the previous knight.”
“Prince means ..,”
“That path is common. I want to go through this road. Because I believe in myself, regardless of whether this path is right or wrong,” Sean explained.
A pair of Driyad eyes looked at Sean's face. Honestly, he was confused by the thought of the boy. However, he did not dare to ask any further.
“Prince has not known this path even the prince has never gone through this path before. Why is the prince so sure that this path is better than the usual path of the Lausius?”
“Ancient thinking. I don't like the same thing. I have my own principles,” reply Sean firmly.
Maybe for Driyad this is a bit strange, but Sean has his own way. He had an idea that the three men behind him might not have thought of.
Sean said earlier, immediately made Driyad realize—that everyone has different ways and thoughts. Silent driyad, no longer saying anything, except .., speaking inwardly. Realized his words earlier.
“What he said. The prince is different. He was very advanced in thinking, even I thoughtlessly why am I asking him like this. And I'm also wrong to consider this a miserable path. The first time through this path, I did not feel that I would be afraid to face it. But prince, he doesn't know anything about the road he's going to face—believing that he can get through this road. I should be sure of the prince from now on, he's right. Everyone has their own way.”
Driyad's mind was glued, imagining what the path before him looked like. A steep hill, a sharp rock road, a dark place. Lightning strikes, hot lava burns, and the abundance of Mossarus fly low around the mountain.
This man clearly knew what the state of this place was like—although he had never entered a foreign place like this. If taking the path on the right, they would not find any heavy obstacles.
Just imagine that Driyad has been horrified, but what can be done. He must be prepared for any risks he faces.
“Prince, in front of the lake. We'd better rest there for a while!”
Hearing Amuria's words, Sean immediately widened his attention. Sure enough, in front of Sean the sound of water splashing sounded soothing to the ears. Sean nodded his head, signaling he agreed to Amuria's remark.
Right beside the lake, they stopped. The rocks were quite slippery, making their path somewhat limped. Can not move freely, because the surface of the rocks filled with slimy moss. Wrong foot, could be slipping.
Sean's headed to the lake. While the three are busy lighting the fire, as a warm weather at night.
Sean took a pinch of water, which he put in his palm. Sean drank it, releasing the thirst that had dried up.
“Prince, should the prince rest first. Our path is likely to arrive tomorrow, the prince needs to recover power.”
Crypto approached, right on Sean's right side he also took water, then drank it.
“You rest, let me watch.”
Sean looked back, Driyad and Amuria were already sleepy. Sean dared not interrupt them. Moreover, the journey is quite far, must be tired for both of them to travel many kilometers.
“No prince. The prince should rest. It's my job to look after the prince.”
Although Sean has ordered Crypto to rest, but this man remains reluctant to obey.
“Good. If you want to stay awake, then I'll rest. You wake me up if something happens.”
“Of course prince. I'll do it.”
Sean leaves Crypto, he approaches his body in a blazing fire. They were really good, even for sleeping Sean was served wholeheartedly.
Sean tried to close his eyes, trying to cover them up to put him to sleep. But, can't. Sean, I don't know why he was so nervous that night.
Crypto was watching Sean from earlier, the man was a little worried about Sean.
“What's up? Does the prince need anything?”
Crypto approached, Sean chose to keep his eyes open. Despite being forced, Sean would not be able to close his eyes.
“Entahlah. I don't know why I'm feeling restless tonight.”
“Maybe the prince needs something. Is the prince hungry?”
Sean shakes. “I'm not hungry at all. But, I feel there is something strange in this place.”
“Aneh ..., what kind of prince mean.”
“Tak knows. This strange feeling brought my heart beat faster than usual. Even pretty tight.”
“Maybe it's just a prince feeling alone. I'm sure, maybe the prince is thinking of something. Such as, friends prince.”
“I hope so,” timpal Sean is in line.
But it's wrong, Sean felt this strange growing.
Sean noticed the surroundings. Thought again. Crypto came to see the bushes where Sean glanced with a glare of sharp eyes.
“What's the prince?” ask Crypto confused. “Does the prince feel anything?”
Sean nodded. “They're coming,” reply Sean while on guard. “I'm sure, they're the reason why I can't calm down.”
“Who do they mean?” ask Crypto again.
“If I'm not wrong, from this scent. Must be the Gort who came.”
“Is the prince sure if it's the Gort?”
Sean nodded. “This aroma, I know it very well.”
Sean got up from his seat, whipping out the sword while keeping watch. The bushes swayed back, Sean was sure it was the same creature as back then. Where he and Jessica were attacked by a terrible monster, in the forest.
Crypto, he's on guard. Although he is not as sensitive as Sean, but Crypto believes— that Sean is right. That child must have sensed the presence of that monstrous creature present in this place.
“Prepare, their numbers are many.”
“Sure,” Crypto nodded. “I will always be vigilant.”
The man (Crypto) pulled out his sword, he got ready. Crypto could not bear to wake up Driyad and Amuria, because they were already asleep. So Crypto wants to protect both, without burdening them.
“Come out. Don't hide,” cried Sean. He said to the monster hiding in the bushes.
Crypto squinted his eyes. “This is the last Lausius. How could he guess if someone was after him in this place.”
This may be a difficult question to answer with common sense. But Crypto believes Sean is much smarter than he thought.
Not long after Sean asked, the monsters came out of the bushes. Apparently, the herd of creatures had been hiding there for a long time.
“Gort!”
“Number of them many. Always be on the lookout,” shrewd Sean on Crypto.
“Sure prince. I'll always be vigilant.”
Sean stiffened his jaw. Dozens or perhaps hundreds of Gort ran to attack Sean. Sean, casually the teenager raised his sword.
“Hiya ...”
Sean ran towards the hundreds of Gort, then retaliated with a blind attack.
One by one Gort came, in full force, Sean decapitated the genetic demons through his greatsword.
The clinking sound of Sean and Crypto's swords, awakened the sleeping eyes.
“Amuria, wake. Prince ...”
Amuria opened her eyes, though somewhat heavily.
“What's up?” tanyanya did not understand.
“Gort strikes!”
“What?”
“See, prince in front. Being surrounded by Gort.”
“This is my chance. I'm not gonna let them come home safe. It must be Elius who commands them to come here!” amuria said brag while fighting.
“Who else would dare to control these monsters other than the ambitious man,” said Driyad in thought.
One by one Amuria's sharp swords beheaded Gort, he was very enthusiastic about facing him. This was his first time fighting against Gort. On previous occasions, he had always fallen asleep. As a result, he often went through some of these big fights. Like the case in the temple of Hexodus.
“I won't let them hurt the prince. This time, they had to pay for the grudge they had made!”
Driyad was very enthusiastic in fighting. The sound of the clinking of his sword clashed against the great axe of the Gorts. That does not mean it will relax the fighting spirit of Driyad. Instead he was more crazy in disarming the monsters.
“Hiya ...”
††††
Sean was flying low when a group of Gort armed with large axes wanted to hit him. The glowing wing was perfectly open.
In the air, Sean noticed their numbers.
“They are very much. That means, they've been around here since I entered this place.”
Sean guessed, it was likely that his guess would be perfect if it were true.
Driyad, Crypto and Amuria are fighting. Sean watched the three, he did not want the three to be overwhelmed in the face of the monstrous creature.
From the air, Sean unleashed his mighty power. Once hit, Sean scattered all of Gort's massive bodies in one strike.
“Hiya ...”
Those horrible bodies are falling apart everywhere. Probably dead. The dust cloud was created, the Gorts did not appear to be standing tall. They all fell.
Sean glanced at all directions, ascertaining whether there was still anything left or not. Nil, they're all dead not left. A hard blow, let alone falling on a rock, must have made the ribs crumble irregularly.
“I think more and more Gort is coming here. We'd better leave this place as soon as possible.”
“Are we going now?” ask Driyad plain.
Sean nodded. “Much better avoid. Right now they're not our priority.”
“Good prince,” Reply Crypto. “We should leave now if it's prince's decision. We will comply.”
Sean turned his heels, leaving behind a bunch of lifeless corpses. Followed by his three bodyguards, they moved away from the well.

“There are many paths here. Which way should we take.”
After walking far enough from the lake earlier, now they are faced with a difficult situation.
The three men who were behind Sean noticed the path in front of them. Unfortunately, none of them knew which way to go.
“There are ten paths. Everything is in the forest. Forming a half-round arch is almost perfect. It's impossible if we're going through this one by one. Moreover, we have never entered this place at all, so I cannot suggest anything.”
Crypto explained. He knows nothing about this place. To be honest, Crypto has since learned this place is dangerous, he's reluctant to step foot in here, except tonight with Sean.
“Driyad,” shine Sean. “Do you know anything about this place?” ask Sean.
“No,” reply Driedad. “A
Just like Crypto, I have never entered this place at all before. So, I'm sorry prince. I can't show you which path we should take.”
Sean glanced at Amuria, just like his two friends. He did not understand which path he should show. The man shrugged, signaling he who least understood this path.
“I'm sorry prince. I don't know anything about this path.”
Of the three men behind him, no one knew which path was right and which path they should take.
Forced, Sean must again rely on his instincts.
“This path amounts to ten. Walkways, which are marked with carvings of animals on each tree. If I guess, maybe it's a marker and a barrier to each path. Then ...”
“Do we have to take one of the walkways randomly?”
Sean shook his head, as Amuria took the initiative to initiate her opinion. “This road forms a trap. If we take the wrong path, then we will get lost. That way, we won't be able to get to the mountain. Or it could be, we won't be able to get out of this place forever.”
“So, how prince. Are we back where we were. Then choose the right path earlier?” Driyad.
“No,” refute Sean. “We still have to go through this road. I'm sure, one of these roads is definitely not a trap.”
“What if we take a straight line in front, prince?” Crypto responded with his brilliant idea.
But that's not smart enough for Sean. “You watch the pictures in the trees. Aren't the animals pictured the animals you see so often.”
“Meaning prince, does this all have something to do?”
To be honest, Crypto doesn't understand Sean's thinking. This teenager is too much of a mystery, that kid is hard to guess.
“There are ten animals engraved on the bark of the tree. If my guess is not wrong, of all those sizes, there is only one possibility that is .., the tree over there is the road leading to Mount Mossarus.”
Sean pointed his finger at the right lane, right where Crypto was standing. The three turned their faces away, following Sean's finger.
The child is one step ahead in thinking. They don't realize that the carving has a Mossarus image, and Sean knows it must be the way.
“Are we going through that road?” ask Amuria.
“No,” replied Sean shook his head.
“Why prince?” sambar Crypto wants to know. “Don't the prince say that it's the road we have to go through.”
“I'm just guessing, not that my guess will be yours ilhami.”
“Jadi ...”
The three were again confused, clearly Sean said that the Mossarus carved tree was the way. Then, Sean's speech has not been lost from his third ear, Sean said something else.
“Do you remember the Driyad, what animals Mossarus likes to prey on?”
“Mean prince?”
Now Driyad more confused, because Sean forced the brain Driyad spinning remember something he did not know. But still, the result is empty. Driyad had tried to remember, but no one had managed to stop in his brain. Except, castles, their adventures and others. That's all Driyad remembers.
Sean then explained, when no memory of anything came out of Driyad's mouth.
“When we are in a giant pumpkin bed. At that time we saw that terrible creature eating an elephant. Supposedly, the path we went through was an elephant-carved tree, not Mossarus.”
Again, they do not understand. However, their eyes looked for carvings of elephants on the bark of the tree that Sean meant. And ....
“So that's the way,” guess Amuria when she managed to find the tree Sean meant.
Sean nodded. “Come, that's the way.”
Sean stepped first into that path. Unfortunately, from the three guards, no one understood the young boy's thoughts. Forced, they must admit Sean's ingenuity.
“Is that really the way?” tanya Driyad whispered in Crypto's ear.
“Entah. We just follow,” reply Crypto resigned. He won't answer something he doesn't even know.
“She was really hard to guess,” whispered Amuria to her two friends.
“He may be a messenger of the gods. That's why he's so smart,” Crypto replied in praise.
“He is not a god. He could have been the son of heaven, instead of Edna's son,” Driyad said.
Crypto and Amuria pinched her lips, then hunted down each other's footsteps, chasing Sean who was slightly away from their sight.
Ignoring the Driyad, they've been trained on this.
“Again they ignored me,” grumbled Driyad annoyed. He was left behind again.
