The rain again hit the hills passed by Sean, Jessica and Driyad. This forced them to find shelter.
Luckily, not far from the hillside there is an ancient temple that stands on a hill higher than other hills.
The ground is undulating, making the hill appear to be above height. Sean and the two friends who followed him chose shelter in the temple instead of receiving the rain.
"Is this a temple?" Jessica asked to confirm her guess. His eyes glanced at this entire building.
"Yes, this is the temple" Driyad replied. "The temple of the hexodus, the temple that was built thousands of years ago," Driyad tried to recall the story of the past.
"Ehm..... Unique building," said Sean. His hands touched the walls of the temple made of stone in the form of brick buildings in general. "Isn't this stone too strong as the foundation of the building?"
"strong?" Jessica repeated. "What's strong, Sean?"
"Strong as a building in general. But the construction of buildings made from this stone is quite strong than the building made by humans," Sean guessed. His eyes were fixed as his hands could not quietly examine the stone carvings that formed a temple wall.
"Are you trying to be a construction expert?" Jessica quips.
"Not too bad" Sean replied. "But, do you know," Sean looked at Jessica, he looked at her with a serious look.
"A strong building like this is quite enough to withstand the onslaught of storms, earthquakes and such. That's why I love this building."
Jessica little oh. He could not stop Sean's imagination which was beyond his natural limits.
"You see, the rain outside is getting heavier. The weather is too bad for the kids" Jessica told. "Fall sick, there's no cure in this forest."
Sean pursed his lips. "I'm too strong to deal with rain water" Sean said apathy. "Even the sea will I wade and I will conquer with my energy."
Jessica can only stop looking at Sean's narcissistic behavior. "You're so proud of yourself, man," Jessica said sniffly.
Who cares, as long as he can praise himself, there is no harm. "Before the fine for praising yourself, it is good to say bragging. Arrogance is natural, just don't be too insolent," Sean continued his narcissism.
The rain is falling. The temple is not too big, with the front not too jutted into, making rainwater can be slightly entered into the terrace because of the onslaught of the wind.
Sean looked his hand out, he held the rainwater as if it was the first time for him to touch the water that fell from the roof of the temple.
"We go in" said Driyad. "It's better to stay overnight at this temple, until the rain subsides" Driyad suggested. "At least, that's the usefulness of this place. As a shady place," Driyad slightly said softly to his last utterance.
"I agree with Driyad" Jessica agreed. "Living inside for a while is better than waiting outside."
"There's no other reason for me to refuse" Sean said simply. He slightly excitedly agreed to the advice of the two.
Jessica and Driyad nodded in excitement, because Sean agreed and wanted to follow their advice.
Sean became the first to hold the doorknob of the temple. Big, the door was towering, twice as high as Sean's.
"Beautiful brother," Sean praised. He slightly looked at the carved door of the temple which was a brownish yellow.
The door was unlocked, and the general sound when opening the door sounded a little creepy this was a frequent occurrence. The sound of an open door is typical of the sound of an old door in horror movies. Can not imagine what it would be like for Sean if this temple is really gripping like most horror films.
Sean opened the door wide to the right. While the left door is still in its original position, it is still closed.
From the inside Sean looked shocked, because hundreds of bats clustered out suddenly when Sean opened the door.
Sean flicked his hands at the head, as the animal of the night flew low on his head. Touching his hair and slightly making Sean's black crown disheveled.
"That's a natural thing to happen, because the animals see the light," Jessica said calmly. "And so bright."
"Good info" Sean muttered.
Then Sean set his foot inside the temple of hexodus. Stale, a little dark there is only a few illumination and a little dear, this temple turned out to be rather worn out.
"Not perfectly groomed," Jessica said exasperatedly. "Maybe there's no guards in this temple, so, yes, it looks shabby in this beautiful place, '" Jessica was very sorry for what she saw. "How's Sean? Isn't this place too slovenly," Jessica asked for an opinion.
"By the bat" said Sean.
Jessica nodded, she confirmed Sean's words. "Like a cow shed Mr. Roberto," said Jessica.
Sean went inside. He walked slowly while observing the perimeter of the rather dark temple room with dim lights less reaching the corners of the temple.
There are some flames as illumination stuck in the hands of human skulls. In the skull that Sean saw, it was clear that it was a real human skull.
Inside the temple, it was different from what Sean saw outside. This place was much wider than he expected.
The floor is made of an arrangement of stones engraved by special ornaments.
"It's a little creepy this temple," Jessica said. "More suitable to be the setting of a horror film."
"I think so too" Sean said.
Jessica followed Sean, she looked around the temple room. The walls of the temple are made of stone arrangements made in such a way. Sean knocked on the stone wall, a bit of compassion, a real master of construction.
"What are you doing Sean?" ask Jessica. "Are you researching something?" Jessica tried to guess it, Sean was busy at his behavior that could not keep solving the mystery.
"I'm just making sure that this wall is made of stone" Sean replied as he tapped on the wall. Every now and then he stuck his earlobe on the wall, as if he wanted to eavesdrop on the sound behind that wall.
"It's obvious if it's made of stone, '" Driyad grinned. "This temple is a temple that is used as a stopover for long-distance walkers and traders from outside the city. Therefore, make a temple out of stone, to be strong and durable. It can withstand natural attacks" Driyad explained.
"That means we're long-distance walkers?" Jessica bragging.
"It could be so" Sean replied. "But, it's not so bad to be a long-distance hiker who stops here, it's better than staying under a banana tree."
Sean boasted, he looks excited while inside the worn out temple.
However, when Sean, Jessica and Driyad were looking at the entire place inside this temple, from behind the other room inside the temple there was a black shadow walking towards the three.
Sean squinted his eyes, looking at the large shadow that was slowly approaching. He began to stand by with his sword ready to draw.
Sean thought the shadow was a beast ready to pounce.
Jessica stood clinging to Sean's body like an octopus. He extended his neck, closely watching the shadow from behind Sean's body.
"What's a beast, Sean?" jessica asked. He began to feel his own horror.
"Come on," replied Sean. "I'm not sure."
Driyad had been standing behind the two children, now, he was approaching, matching the two. Driyad anticipated. "Be careful, it may be a gort" Driyad warned. He was ready with his sharp claws, pouncing and stabbing at the approaching enemy.
The black shadow slowly approached. Sean with his sword ready to swing waiting for the arrival of their enemy.
Sean impatiently wanted to decapitate the head of the black shadow that walked a little slowly like a snail.
And ready! Sean had already floated his sword when the shadow raised his head.
A soft body as a target of Sean's sharp sword brutality, he wanted to launch his attack. Followed by Driyad who acts as if he is the most persistent.
However, before that happened, the black shadow first reprimanded him.
"Hey, stop," cried the shadow that approached them. He in black robes covered his head with a stick and walked bent over.
"She's Sean's blind witch" Jessica said. Obviously she looked like a noble witch, seeing the exact same gelagat especially covered with a black robe. Jessica grew suspicious of the old lady.
But the old woman stood up. "Stop the kids." He unfolded his cloak of headgear, looking at the three beings standing in front of him.
For a moment Sean listened to the old woman's words. Sean dropped the gun.
"Who are you?" sean asked a little hesitatingly mixed in fear.
