The Adventure Of Lord Lausius

The Adventure Of Lord Lausius
Episode 67's

Sean who was curious about him, especially why he could read the thousand year old manuscript was fluent without a constraint.

Sean had the old woman talk to him with only four eyes.

The sadon guard obeyed him. He met Sean on the terrace outside the palace sadon.

Quite tall, even the scenery in the village that looked more like this big city looked crowded. It was as if there was no night in the city.

"Do you want to meet me?" Medika with her trademark beautiful path approached Sean who was waiting for her on the sadon terrace. "Is there something important?"

"I just want to know?"

"About?"

"That manuscript," Sean asked a little briefly.

"What do you want to know from the old manuscript?" Medika.

"Why can't you read the herenoid. While you yourself are the custodian of the millions of manuscripts. Can't be careless who can be the guardians of the secret room belonging to the helian people, except those who understand the history of the herenoid manuscript." Sean knew little about the secret behind the manuscript he had read. He asked, as the old woman hid something from him. "Say? Why can't you read that old manuscript!" Sean looked at Medika's face.

Originally, this old lady was standing in the middle of the terrace. After hearing the statement of Sean who knew the secret behind the room helian, he slightly advanced himself leaning on the porch barrier. He stared at the building that became the lowest view of the sadon palace.

"The helian people are full of mysteries. They chose only ten people who were considered capable of being readers of the old manuscripts they created." Medica begins an ancient story that he knows. "One of them is you!" He pointed at Sean. Medika knew that Sean could read the old manuscript from one of the Marmaids who overheard the conversation of Goddess Handita and Bessara.

"Why me!" Sean wanted to rebuff from the Medika statement.

"Because you're the one who's been recorded in history by the helians." Medika told Sean. "The helians are experts at spreading their power through magic in the millions of manuscripts they make from Damascus cowhide. I've been learning to read the herenoids for years, but the results are zero. My goal is not to master that magic, but I want to free Volinia from that damned power." Medica is honest. "And when you entered that helian room, your body took out a picture of a heliograph. The image will appear, only when the helian select person has proximity to the old manuscript." Medika told Sean. "And Volinia."

"Volinia?" Sean mutters. Sean smiled slightly satisfied. He already knew the reason behind why Medika had asked him to open the secret door.

Sean pretended to be ignorant. He was expressionless. "Then?" Sean wants to know the continuation of the story from Medika.

"Then. Volinia, she wants to master magic in one of those helian manuscripts. He wanted to equal the power of the Goddesses. Including Dewi Handita, she really disliked the creature saranjana."

Hearing the words and explanations from Medika made Sean a little awkward. There's something strange about the story the woman said. Unlike what he had expected, Sean felt the woman had made up a fake story.

Not finished Medika spoke, some servants who followed her earlier came to call her. They whispered in the old woman's ears. I don't know what they said, Sean doesn't know. And suddenly Medika wanted to leave her.

Sean could not force the woman to keep telling this helian story any more like there was an urgent situation. So, Sean decided to let him go. Sean's gonna figure this out for himself.

On the terrace of the sadon palace, Sean could not turn away from the story that had accidentally overshadowed his mind after reading the manuscript.

Sean thought hard about this. "If Medika is right, Volinia may have been locked inside that door for hundreds of years. The old manuscript can only be read by ten people who have been destined by helians to find out the related information in it. Supposedly if Medika knew that Volinia wanted to learn magic from the manuscript, she could at least stop the woman's move. Isn't he the guardian of the private room belonging to the helian people. Then how could Volinia study the old manuscript and get stuck in the secret door? Is it possible that Medika told a lie?" Sean was confused. Moreover, what he knows is different from what is said by Medika.

Driyad had suddenly appeared from behind Sean. He visited the boy. "What do I think of Sean?" Driyad reprimands Sean who is still fixated in his wild imagination.

"HM.... What makes you so curious about the manuscript?" Driyad was curious.

Sean honestly couldn't help but talk about this mister. He said open to Driyad. "So, as I read the ancient manuscript of the helian, I saw a strange story in it!"

"What a strange story you mean." Driyad did not understand at once began to be curious. This time it was much more curious than before.

"The manuscript cannot be read by Medica. What then? How could he possibly be a guard of that manuscript room? Wasn't it in the sadon provisions I had read in the nymphal manor, one of which was the custodian of the manuscript should be those who could read the manuscript. But why can't he read it at all? Isn't that weird." Sean acts as if he is detective Joe, his mother's best friend.

Driyad thought so too. He agrees with Sean. "You're right!" Driyad started talking, he approached Sean and discussed. "There is little known about the helian house with the loss of Volinia and the appointment of Medika as the new keeper."

Sean felt hooked. He wants to know the continuation. "Say. What do you know." Sean whispered softly.

"What I do know, since Volinia disappeared suddenly, the sadon manager immediately chose Medika to be the custodian of the manuscript without the approval of lord shutanhamun. Many are opposed, especially those who are the remnants of the descendants of the helian people."

"Then what happened?" Returning with curiosity, Sean became interested in hearing this story. "What about the medica?"

"And what happened, many high-ranking members of the helian line protested against this impeachment. They do not want Medika to be the guardian of the manuscript because she is considered not to understand the language of the herenoids. Some of the helian higher-ups wanted the manuscript space to remain empty waiting until there was a substitute who could truly understand the language of the herenoids." Driyad told a story as he remembered it. "However, for some reason and where did the Medica come from, he suddenly ascended the throne to become a top-level guard. All the people, especially the remnants of the helian lineage, were in disbelief at the appointment of Medica as the guardian of the helian hall." Driyad said seriously. "They protested against the decision of the court of sadon." Driyad.

"Hearing this story of yours, I feel like I'm starting to suspect Medika." Sean propped up his chin. He paid great attention to the old lady carrying the strange stick. "There's something strange about her."

"What kind of suspicious Sean do you mean?"

"I'll tell you, but first get me inside the manuscript room. I need to find something there." Sean harbored what he covered first. Before everything is clearly known. "You gotta help me get into that room, you gotta do it." Sean forced.

"Getting into that room wasn't as easy as entering Sean's previous manuscript room. The medica won't let that happen!" Driyad commemorates Sean. He knew what consequences Sean would have if Medika knew this was happening. "You think carefully about what would happen if you were known by Medika to sneak in there." Driyad said worriedly.

"You just need to help me get into that room. The rest let me investigate it myself" Sean tried to convince Driyad. Sean knew the creature was worried about him. "No need to think about me. I'll be fine."

However, Sean could not back down from what he had decided. He wanted to know the truth about the argument he was thinking.

Driyad can only resign. The kid is too stubborn. Driyad can only hope that the plan made by Sean goes smoothly, or fails miserably.

"Alright Sean. I'll help you get into that room." Driyad. Sean's willpower overcame his warning. "But one thing you should know!" Driyad is back to commemorate Sean. He began to look anxiously at the thought of the child. "If you've got what you're looking for, get out as soon as you can. Or Medika will see you later."

Sean agreed. He smiled in satisfaction as Driyad helped with his plan.

The two of them went straight to the core of the plan. Driyad helped him into the manuscript.

Although Driyad's misgivings begin to haunt him, Sean continues to say things that make the creature can not argue.

Sean is already in that room. Driyad just wishes nothing had happened to the boy. Or the Medika will know the plan.
