Aaa.... Byur..... Water spots wet the body. Sean thought he would end up dead. Apparently, under the foot of the cave, there is a waterfall, similar to Niagara. They went into that water. Drowning, the water devoured their bodies. Sean and Jessica are unconscious.
The river current brought Sean and Jessica to the edge of the river. Once the length of the river, until the next morning they were puked by water in a quiet place.
Sean opened his eyes, a moment after the morning sunlight burst into dazzling eyes. He closed his eyes with his palm, the glare making him unable to see clearly.
The melodious sound of birds chirping made Sean realize he was out of nowhere. Next to Sean, Jessica was also lying down. The boy was not fully aware. Sean wakes up Jessica, the girl is exhausted.
"Jessica.... Jessica.." -...." The sound of the call came into the eardrum of the girl who was dreaming in the realm of the soul. That soft voice was Sean, Jessica recognized him.
Jessica opened her eyes, in front of her face, Sean looked rather vague.
Uhuk-uhuk! Jessica's consciousness made her spit out so much water. He choked, ah, the water went into his stomach. It felt like the water was making Jessica so full.
"You've come to your senses," Sean greeted him with a feeling of relief.
"Sean? You okay?" last night's memory made Jessica fully aware. He's been checking out Sean's entire body. "You.... Did nothing happen to you?"
"I'm fine" replied Sean. "You don't have to worry about me."
"Oh, thank God," Jessica let out a sigh of relief. "I thought last night. You and I—"
"Forget over last night" Sean said. "We better find Driyad first. We lost them last night."
Jessica remembered. Yeah, actually last night they were separated from the two creatures. After that, he remembered the blind man throwing his body. Previously he fought with the disgusting dwarf. "Yes, I remember" Jessica snapped her finger. "Last night they were in front of us. Then...... There's a big hole pulling us down. And, after that....."
Last night's dream ended up hanging. Jessica regrets it, why she didn't see the end of last night.
"You know, in the end we're stranded here." Sean tells. Jessica still remembered, while Sean had clearly known the incident. Last night he pulled her out of the cave. Even Jessica probably wouldn't know that there was a big rock chasing them last night. "Come on, we're out of here" Sean said.
The sun has risen a bit, the heat is starting to sting the skin because it is so hot.
Sean reached out his hand to Jessica, he helped the girl stand up. But, Jessica..... Really confused last night. How could he be on the riverbank. Um, more precisely on the edge of the sandy marshes.
"By the way, how do we get away with the blind?" ask Jessica.
Sean walked ahead. Slashing through the bushes, he paved the way. Yes, as seen in the eyes, only useless bushes. There was no road in sight, all blocked by that wild clump. Sean caught a glimpse of Jessica, looking forward to the answer to her question. "He's dead" said Sean flatly.
"Well... Die?'
Sean nodded, that's what he said.
"How did that happen?" honestly, Jessica was curious about this part. The blind witch could die, a miracle for Jessica when she heard that remark. "Are you sure? Did you see him? Do you really see with your own eyes?" Jessica asked him a few questions.
"Come on," Sean replied again. "I'm just confused. I just saw he was suddenly dead. Don't know who killed him."
"Hm...!" Jessica massaging chin. It's a mystery to know the blind man's death, but he doesn't know how it happened. "Is he probably having a heart attack?" guess Jessica.
Sean glanced at him. "Silly joke."
"Hey, come on, man," Jessica walked up to Sean's steps. Oh, the good thing is, he walked right next to Sean, stepping back. "He could have died of a heart attack. Or indeed he had from the very beginning had such a disease. Anyone doesn't know when they're going to die."
Sean shakes. Jessica's wild imagination is beyond common sense. Sean breathed out once. Oh, that kid made him upset. "You think you go to the clinic a lot? See a specialist, then he's diagnosed with a history of heart disease. Is that what you think?" Sean added. Jessica's silliness should make Sean shudder in pain.
"I imagined it that way. After all, his death was indeed full of mysteries. You don't even know how he died? You were the last one with her." Jessica pointed. He could only guess what made the blind man die.
"It doesn't mean I'll know everything about him" Sean chimed in.
It's true what Sean said. Thought Jessica, the last — Sean still opened his eyes. Obviously he knows what happens next. But, that does not mean that his friend knows everything as he said earlier.
"By the way, how did we get to that creek?" Jessica switched to saying. "Isn't this a mystery?"
"Semical: Having supernatural powers, then accidentally that power helps us to be free from the blind. Or, there's a hero coming to our aid. Is that what you think?" Sean guessed. The boy started playing around again with that irrational logic.
"I don't think it's a bad thing to think that way" he said to Sean.
Sean wagged his sword freeing their steps from the bushes. He didn't think much about the question.
Jessica was still fixated on her wild thoughts. How can they be free from this creature. How they got by the river. And...... "How do we survive Sean?" ask Jessica again. At the end of his sentence, he shocked Sean.
"Whoohooo! Bruk!" Sean fell in the bushes. "Ah" she cried in pain. On Sean's elbow, blood came out. Sean was slightly injured for not paying attention to his steps. "He surprised me" he said slowly.
"You all right, Sean?" Jessica offered help.
"I'm fine" replied Sean. Stand up, then blow that sore wound.
"Sorry!"
"The injury" said Jessica guilty. "I surprised you, it must feel like you almost died. Or your heart feels dislodged when I suddenly do."
"I think you almost killed me" Sean grumbled. About the wound, Sean still hold. There's a sharp grass in there. Like a creeping thorn, interrupting his steps. Sean blew the wound so it wouldn't hurt too much.
"Oh really?" jessica was almost scared. "I'm sorry, Sean. I'm sorry, —I'm careless — I won't repeat."
"Tsk," Sean swiped as he shook his head. "You did want to do it to me on purpose."
"Akh, no. I might have done it to you intentionally. I swear, by Aunt Jane's name, I won't hurt her son. By the hill on the western horizon, by the river Niagara. I didn't do it on purpose. I swear to you, Sean!"
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sean just shuddered his head. Jessica's attitude made her want to kick her all the way to the moon. "Okay, okay. You were unintentional."
"You forgive me?"
Sean shakes. "No?!"
"Then what did that mean?" sue Jessica.
"Only...... Kind of..... Intermezzo," Sean said confusedly. The boy was looking for him.
"So you said it was just a joke?"
"May say so" ledek Sean.
Jessica turned her face away, she sewed on Sean. Jessica folded her arms around her chest, she walked unnoticed at her steps.....
"Ah, uh,......." Jessica fell in the bushes. Sean who saw him chuckled, Jessica, the girl was exposed to bad luck. "Ah. Sucks. Why is this day so annoying."
Sean didn't want to extend his hand to Jessica, but the boy was very poor. Sean couldn't stop holding back.
"Do you sincerely want to help me?" ask Jessica about Sean. The pure white hand made Jessica flutter. "Don't help me if you just want to get sucked in."
"I'm not getting sucked up."
"You sure you didn't bully me?" jessica asked to make sure.
Sean nodded slowly. His face was smiling, Jessica almost fell in the charm of the damn child. "I'm sincere. Anyway, I don't have any grudges against you?" sean was honest.
Jessica took the hand. He, somewhat forced to shake Sean's hand. There were frogs jumping on her head, what a pesky fate of Jessica that day.
Even some frogs slapped their faces using their bodies jumping into any place. "Well, fuck!"

Amuria and Driyad have been looking for them since last night. After this whole night, finally, the two creatures found the entrance to the cave. While down the corners of the cave, there was found no one, except, hundreds of dwarf creatures that died.
And.... Unfortunately, they found the blind man's body lying stiff on the ground.
"What's going on here?" ask Driyad to Amuria. "Where are those kids?"
"Hm...." Amuria tried to sniff out the existence of the two missing children. But baby, there's no scent on his nose. "I don't think the two kids are here!" said speculating.
"Are you sure?"
"If you look at the death of the blind, it could be the child who did it" said Amuria. He looked at the blind man's body. The body was dry like wood ready to burn. It leaves only the bones and skin. His eyes were about to pop out, his hair turning completely white. "Right, it seems, it was the boy's sword that unsheathed the blind witch."
"Then where would they go, if he did all this?" ask Driyad again. He was still confused, the children disappeared without a trace.
"I'm not sure. To be sure, they're not here. They survived," he replied.
Driyad believed that the children must have survived. It's just, he lost them. He regretted.
"We'd better go now. We better find them, before we lose them again" Amuria suggested.
"A good idea. I'm worried about them" said Driyad in agreement with Amuria.
Driyad followed Amuria. He knows everything about himself. That creature, was truly one level smarter, stronger, and fiercer than himself.
When they want to go, again and again. The little creatures appeared. They come huddling, their prey has come the previous time they lost Sean and Jessica.
"We are prisoners!" Driyad.
