"Ha-ha-ha," came the sound of loud laughter. Echoing in this dark cave.

Right at the end of the hallway, the light Sean saw turned out to be just a mirage. "Damn!" Sean was fooled by the light.

So, without realizing it, Sean did not know that the end of the hallway was a deep abyss. In the end, that final journey led Sean to the abyss.
