Sean, Jessica and Driyad say goodbye to sadon. They will continue their journey to the city center of Saranjana.
Before leaving sadon, Sean runs into Volinia. They met at a glance, and the girl made a little pleasantry.
"You're going now?" Volinia asked. "This fast!"
Sean nodded, his face looking slightly radiant. "Yes." Yeah." Sean's reply was brief.
Sean stepped his foot, he was ready to leave sadon. It might take a while to return to this palace. A magnificent and unique place, Sean will never forget it.
"Wait for Sean," Volinia stopped her steps.
Sean turned his head, he looked at Volinia's face for the last.
"I want to give you a present" Volinia approached Sean. From his clothes pocket, he took out a small object. "This is my favorite flute. If you like it, then I'd be happy to give it to you." Volinia gave a yellow bamboo flute.
"This is for me?" Sean asked. "You sure gave this flute to me!" Sean can't believe Volinia gave him a present.
Volinia. "Yes. It's for you" his face smiled as Sean received his flute. "Suppose it's a gift for your help that frees me from helian's door of time."
"I will definitely receive this gift. I'm glad to accept it" Sean said proudly.
Jessica sneered. "I'm forgotten." Jessica quips. "I should have forgotten."
Volinia looked at Jessica, her face still smiling at Jessica even though she was cynically responded by this girl.
"I also prepared a gift for you," Volinia was kind. "Jessica."
"I don't need a gift" Jessica said. "I've had enough of what I have!" Jessica said, which is still like an arrogant attitude before, Jessica never gave a good impression on people she had met.
Volinia clasped Jessica's hand. She did not care whether the girl was angry or not, without waiting for Jessica's approval, Volinia put a beautiful trinket in her hands. "If you don't like it, you can throw this bracelet away." Volinia said softly.
Volinia didn't care if Jessica didn't like the gift, she already gave the girl an eye sign. Volinia hopes her good intentions are not rejected so by Jessica.
"Well. Sean, Jessica, I hope you're all right on the road." Volinia blessed her second journey. "I will miss you, so be healthy. To be able to play again in this sadon."
"Thank you Volinia" replied Sean. "I will surely miss sadon and his loyal servants." Sean pleasantries. "We'd better leave now, before the sun slips in the west" he said.
Volinia understood, she let Sean and Jessica go.
Staying in sadon for a while actually made Sean a little calm.
Moreover, surrounding the vast sadon market, made Sean more and more reminded of this place. Sean felt familiar to the crowd in the village manun.
Sean, Jessica and Driyad eventually leave sadon and may not return to this palace again.
Now they have moved away from the hustle and bustle of the population in Manun. The village is magnificent, the crowd is everywhere with real diversity.
The three of them went through the usual path used by people who wanted to go to Manun. The road is not too difficult for all three.
"Hey!" Jessica reprimands. On their way, Jessica started talking. "What are you thinking? You sick?" Jessica asked Sean, he was a little considerate. It was seen that Sean from earlier was just silent without a sound.
"It's nothing, it's only a thought to revisit sadon someday" Sean replied evasively. "At least in sadon we've seen an ancient secret in an old herenoid manuscript."
"Are you sure it's okay?" Jessica wants to make sure Sean is back.
Sean nodded, he was fine. "I was just being thought of by Sadon, that magnificent place." Sean said this a second time.
"I also think so," Jessica was in line with Sean. "I will miss that golden palace, complete with its splendid splendor," Jessica began to imagine. He was already daydreaming about sadon in manun village.
"That's it. Don't talk about it anymore," Sean suddenly broke Jessica's imagination. "If we keep thinking about sadon, we probably can't think about anything else."
"That's better." Jessica closed the conversation. "When I was imagining, it was suddenly destroyed instantly by him. Like a wound with lemon drops."
Sean continued on, they re-entered the dense forest. Driyad led the way, the sound of birds chirping.
Starting at dusk, the sun is visible in the western horizon is reddened, ready to sink behind the metis cloud.
The sounds of crickets and some other forest creatures began to be heard. The day before tonight was a little different from the usual night. The air temperature feels a little cold.
"Don't we need a place to rest?" Jessica interrupted the journey.
Driyad, who was leading the way, looked at Jessica. "Are you tired?" Ask Driyad.
Jessica nodded. "It's very tired" he said.
The atmosphere of twilight was already in the darkness, the journey they took was already half the way of the forest. Driyad glanced at Sean, he needed his opinion. "How's Sean? You agreed to take a break?"
"No problem?" Sean shrugged both of his shoulders. "If Jessica is tired, a short break may be better than forcing her to continue." Sean said wisely.
Sean smiled a little. "You guys wait here. I'm gonna find a lighter."
Sean moved on, he wanted to find what he needed.
Jessica screamed when she saw Sean. "Hey Sean! Can you start a fire?" Jessica asked and followed Sean.
"What are you following me for" said Sean. Jessica's footsteps now equaled Sean's.
"Hey man!" Jessica acts like a thug. "I'm following you because I'm not sure if you can start a fire?"
"You're just underestimating me too much!"
Sean did not care about Jessica who kept bothering him.
"Hey man," Jessica still didn't give up. "How could I not underestimate you! Even the last time we went to school, you couldn't light a campfire."
Jessica offended Sean for what happened at school. "And you remember too? When you're made team leader, our team always loses. Because choosing a bad chairman does not have any skills. So don't blame me if I underestimate you!" Jessica mocked. He couldn't stay still to keep Sean glued.
Sean didn't budge, he was busy at work. "From the fact that you think about and talk about other people's weaknesses, you better help me gather these twigs." Sean thrust a pile of small twigs, right in Jessica's lap.
The girl hugged the little twigs Sean gave her. Tepaksa.
"Hey! You think I'm a worker at your house?" Jessica doesn't accept being treated like this.
Sean was busy looking for twigs, pausing for a moment of busyness. He looked up, saw Jessica's face. "It's better that way, than you nagging nonsense."
Jessica slammed the pile of twigs in her hands, she was a little annoyed. "You're so annoying!"
Sean chuckles at Jessica's behavior. "OKAY. I'm sorry, you're a sulking expert." Sean said he gave up. He took back the pile of twigs that Jessica threw away.
Sean let the boy get angry, thinking Sean Jessica needed time to sulk and calm down.
"To be honest," Sean approached Jessica. "When it was a school event back then, it wasn't that I couldn't light a bonfire like we had planned, but I relented." Sean said as he brandished Jessica two medium-sized boulders.
"Guildered?" Ask Jessica. "At whom?"
Sean's mumbling. "To be honest at the time, I relented not to light the fire because of Eed." Sean tells. "At that time Eed forced me to give him a chance to become team leader. As a result, you thought that I was a lousy team leader. I didn't deny it, you said the truth."
"Is sean really!?" Jessica couldn't believe it. "You're telling the truth, aren't you?"
Sean nodded. "That's why you always underestimate me!"
"Ehm... That is, I've always pissed you off?" Jessica is aware of herself. He came to Sean who was lighting a fire. "You.... Not swearing at me, is it?"
Sean stopped his busyness for a moment, he sighed then glanced at Jessica. "You think I'm a woman, who's always gossiping!" Sean grumbling.
"That means it's true that I always piss you off?" Jessica confirmed. "Come tell Sean? Am I a shitty woman."
"Yes" Sean replied briefly.
"Yes, that I always sucks. Huh-do you?" Jessica whining.
"Yes, you've always been a bitch and a bitch" Sean replied honestly. "Even you always underestimate me and Eed. You compare between Eed, me and the other friends," Sean said as he banged two stones.
Sean was trying to spark fire on the small branches he had arranged.
"And you also like to fight with men!" Sean added an honest word that was full of frustration to Jessica.
"But Sean!" Jessica said slowly. "I didn't do it on purpose!" Jessica sat right next to Sean who was busy on his fire.
"I know that" Sean replied. "You always say that to me. Not intentionally, not intentionally. You always want to argue," Sean nagged him.
"You are Sean's most understanding friend." Jessica smiled wryly, she did not expect that Sean remembered all the past events. "Even I've forgotten him," he said softly at his last words.
Sean grunts. She knew Jessica always was. After the incident passed, he would repeat his actions again. She likes to argue and belittle her male friends. "It's a good thing I'm patient" Sean muttered.
Driyad interrupted, he approached the two children. Moreover, the fire that Sean lit was already enlarged. Driyad laid his body on the ground close to the fire.
"You're always fighting" said Driyad tired of the children's behavior. "Even at all times," Driyad began to speak apathy, whether since when.
"Even you interfere" replied Jessica presumably. He threw his face away, like a child who likes to sulk.
Sean shook his head, he began to give up on speaking. Or they'll talk and argue until tomorrow until tomorrow. Sean wisely responded to Jessica's behavior, who else would understand him.
