Chapter 89. Got You's!

"David, please!" Elaina started to shed tears. The shadow of losing her father made her feel sick.

"I'm sorry, honey. I can't do it" David said without reducing his flying speed. He doesn't know where they are at the moment. Her thoughts were only on Elaina's safety and their fate.

"Dave," whine Elaina.

"I promised your father. This is one of our agreements. I know you love him very much. So did I. But you have to be strong. Many lives are at stake in this battle."

Elaina was silent at David's explanation. Her husband is right, she should not be selfish. Right now they are in battle not playing wars. The sound of the explosion shocked Elaina. He hugged David's body even tighter. I don't know who was hit by the attack.

Finished with one of his obstacles, Billy soon catches up with David and Elaina. The man pointed his index finger at David and Elaina. Then, cast a spell. A flash pointed straight at them. Then a small explosion sets David and Elaina apart. The light hit David's back so that his embrace was released.

Elaina shouted as she saw David's body plunging freely downwards quickly. Her husband's consciousness is gone after an attack from Billy. A hand gripped Elaina's wrist violently.

Billy managed to get Elaina. She takes Elaina somewhere, another dimension that no one can enter. He released the clutches of his hand, causing Elaina's body to fall on the floor.

"If you had said it, you wouldn't have lost your father and husband" Billy said. "Well!" Billy shouted in frustration. "You know, I don't like taking someone's life. But, there's something inside of me that really loves her."

Elaina sniffles. He doesn't know David's situation. One thing is certain when separated earlier, David was unconscious.

"Oh, cup cup cup. Don't be afraid, baby! Uncle won't hurt you." Billy walked up to Elaina. He touched Elaina's hair and inhaled it.

"Elinor should be mine. I hate your father who has pure power. Although I'm proud of Cruise's extended family. However, I am very envious of him. The beautiful girl of Winter's descent became hers. You know, I accidentally killed your mother. I just want to take the core of his talent, nothing more. But instead, he attacked me to protect the little man I hate so much, you."

Elaina was furious at the heartless man's words. It was easy for the man to say that he accidentally killed his mother. A stream of heat ran through Elaina's body. The feeling of sadness disappeared instantly. Replacing with a very burning anger. All of Elaina's loved ones had been snatched away by the heartless man.

A flash of blue light emanated from Elaina's palm. Billy smiled at the blue light. Elaina looked confused. The young but old man immediately opened the robe and tore the shirt to his chest.

A picture in the form of symbols was imprinted on the man's chest. The blue light from Elaina was absorbed by the symbols. Elaina tried to stop her power. However, his entire strength was like being absorbed by something. Am I gonna stay here? I was careless to have been lured by him. Elaina said in her heart. Her tears came out from both corners of her eyes.

Brayan who had not done anything was still silent on the spot. Brayan's last assignment was decisive. Actually, both hands and feet are already itching to come attacking. However, the task he carries is very important. Brayan could only observe each incident until he saw a faint blue light reflected from the sky.

"He got it!" brayan's screams startled the brothers and their allies to make them stop attacking.

The rest of the Black Meadow clan members instantly retreated and disappeared. Bricia, who knew of their departure, immediately gave a sign to one of them.

"Where's David?" ask Bree.

Something from the sky flew down. Two men embracing each other landed firmly until falling.
