Chapter 61. Misunderstand

"This sir. Pak G's phone seems to be broken" said Cici, handing the phone to Mr. Griffin.

Mr. Griffin looked at the phone and saw the screen of the phone that was already dark. He wiped the phone screen with a single swipe. The old man could only sigh. He looked at Cici with pity. That girl was beautiful, just that she had one very extraordinary flaw. Too late in thinking pretty bad.

I don't want to argue with Cici. Mr. Griffin immediately returned to his place after Cici returned the phone. Cici remained where he stood. The servant was very obedient and trustworthy with his master's orders.

Thirty-five minutes later, David arrived at the mansion with hurried steps. He rushed towards the backyard of the mansion, the last place where Elaina was. Arriving there, no one was in the backyard of the mansion.

David half ran towards the main room. He climbed the stairs by passing two steps at once. The feeling was very unpleasant when he heard his beloved wife crying.

"Honey," called David as he entered the room. The empty room. There was no Elaina there. David stepped back to the balcony. Maybe Elaina was there.

The result is the same. Elaina wasn't there. David's feelings escalated into worry. There's no way black Meadow can get in here. David said in his heart. He walked back and forth with one hand on his waist and the other holding his head.

"Bathroom" said David as he set foot to get there. David opened the door to the rough bathroom. The bathroom is the same as the other rooms. The woman he was looking for was not there.

David breathed a rough breath. He is frustrated at the moment. Where else would she look for Elaina. She decides to go to the kitchen to find Cici because the maid is the one tasked by her to look after and accompany Elaina.

David's right hand grabbed the doorknob and prepared to pull the door open. Something from the outside pushed the door in.

"Darling!" david exclaimed as he grabbed Elaina's body into his arms. She hugged Elaina tightly until she had trouble breathing.

"Dave! You're making it hard to breathe!" elaina said while struggling to take off David's embrace.

"Where have you been?" david asked as his embrace slipped. The man held Elaina's face with both hands. She gently rubbed Elaina's face with her thumb.

"I'm in the mansion," replied Elaina confusedly.

"In which part? I'm half-crazy looking for you" said David.

"In Cici's room" replied Elaina.

"Huh, I'm so worried."

"Tumbens. The feeling from yesterday you don't care about me that much." He just expressed his frustration at the man.

"Of course I care. How could I not care!"

Elaina takes off David's hands and walks into the room without caring about David. Feeling abandoned by Elaina, David soon follows.

Hearing David's question, Elaina threw her body on the bed. He grabbed a pillow and covered his head. I don't want to see or hear David.

"Darling, what's wrong with you?" ask David. Elaina did not want to answer, she just lost both hands in front of her chest. Signs he doesn't want to care about David.

"OKs. All right if you don't want to talk. Then I'll go" David said as he stood up. He was still staring at Elaina hoping to get a response from her.

"I'm gone" lured David while taking a few steps back. His plan of tricking Elaina was unsuccessful. Usually Elaina is easily deceived. But not this time. There must be something that makes Elaina that way.

David could not hold his patience. He stepped forward and snatched away the pillow that covered his wife's face. David's eyes were rounded when he saw Elaina's wet face. Tears flowed in both of his wife's beautiful eyes nonstop. David held Elaina's face.

"Darling, what's wrong with you?" david asked confusedly mixed in worry.

Elaina who was crying without a sound, was now crying loudly. This was the second time she had cried. It could be, this was the cry of the rest of the burden in his heart last.

David hugged Elaina. She stroked the soft black hair of Elaina. David tries to calm Elaina down. He was sure something must have happened to Elaina.

"Not that you don't want me anymore!" exclaim Elaina after being able to control herself.

"How could I not want you anymore. I love you so much, baby," replied David.

"If so, why don't you ever touch me again? Not even tempted when I tease you!" cecar Elaina.with the rest of the stuffing.

Oh, my God, it was because of that. David said in his heart. Elaina must have misunderstood.

"I think you misunderstood, baby" said David.
