Chapter 54. Difficult Times

Elaina hugged David. But he tried to resist that desire. His feelings are still floating. For love and love. She already loved the man after seeing his earnestness from her.

However, tonight David's statement made Elaina think many times. Is David's love sincere or not? He really hated having to think about it. Elaina did not answer, she walked past David. He wanted to get out of the room immediately which made him cramped.

"Dear stop, please!" david exclaimed as Elaina walked past him. He knew if his wife intended to leave their room. Of course David would not. The one who should have come out was him. David stood up and walked over to Elaina.

"You stay in the room. Let me just get out of the room" said David.

Elaina's tears kept flowing. He turned his face away from David. I didn't want him to see his tear-filled face. David, who had wanted to hold Elaina's hand, had to be undone. He doesn't want to make things worse. With a heavy heart David walked past Elaina.

"I was in the study" David said before closing the door.

Elaina's body immediately slumped to the floor after the door closed. She cried while hugging her own body.

The same thing happened to David. His body slumped to the floor shortly after closing the room door. He was crying in silence.

Eight days later.

"Not yet to speak to him?" ask Brayan.

The young man was in David's study room complete with his form. During David's separation from Elaina, Brayan regularly visits David.

There was no reason for Brayan to visit David. The young man had always reported the movements of the Black Meadow clan that were getting closer and closer to them.

David and Brayan devise a strategy to defeat them. At a time like this, David was a little grateful to be separated from his bed and Elaina. He can focus on taking care of the more important issues at the moment.

David stared intently at Brayan. What kind of silly questions did the young man ask. Of course he wants to talk to Elaina. In fact, he misses his wife very much. David could only go to the room at midnight. Looked at Elaina's face in silence.

"What's wrong?" ask David.

"Look!" brayan's orders to David.

David followed Brayan's line of sight. Something dark purple seemed to be flickering. Today Brayan shows a map of the southern capital. At the end of the border between the West and South was something purple that was trying to break through.

"Double power!" brigita orders by telepathy with Brayan.

"Ok," Brayan answered briefly.

David did not want to interrupt Brayan's words. The young man seemed to be focusing on the map in front of him and was expending considerable energy. David felt the enormity of the energy thrown by Brayan.

Long time used by Brayan and Brigita. David stood beside Brayan staring at the map. The purple blink disappeared.

"They left" Brigita said by telepathy.

Brayan released another energy from within his body. David knows this energy. The energy that had been eight days Brayan spewed at the end of the session so that he could take a break for a moment. After finishing throwing the country of automatic observation, Brayan immediately turned around and dropped his butt on the sofa.

David did not go to the young man. Especially asking. He looks so exhausted. David walked towards his drink rack. He takes one bottle of whisky and gives it to Brayan.

"Here," said David, handing Brayan a bottle of whisky.

Brayan's eyes were closed when he got a bottle of whisky from David. He immediately grabbed the bottle and directly drank it from there.

After releasing his thirst, Brayan put down the whisky bottle. He knew David could not wait to ask.

"Black Meadow is close to entering the country" said Brayan.

David had guessed. The clan must have gotten close. They have to think of a way to save Elaina.

"How much longer?" ask David.

"Maybe about three full or less" Brayan replied.

"Look! I'll be with my three sisters soon. I don't want to know how you made up with Elaina. We need him to plan against the BM clan, and vice versa" explained Brayan as he ran away leaving David alone.

David clenched both his hands. He was furious at himself who could not give any help to his wife. Not done with complicated thoughts. David's phone that was located on the table vibrated many times. He immediately grabbed and answered the incoming call.

"Hello sir," said Theo.

"Yes" David answered briefly.

"Mr Arnold and his son were on a plane bound for the country" Theo said.

Theo's words managed to surprise David. He immediately stood up from his seat of greatness.

"What are they doing here?" ask David.

"According to the information I received. Your uncle wants to visit to see his son-in-law's niece" Theo explained.

"What's? The Al!" exclaim David while walking back and forth.

"How much longer?" ask David.

"About fifteen hours" Theo replied briefly.

"Prepare everything!" david's orders.

"Okay, sir" replied Theo.

"Theo! Call uncle Jeff!" david's orders before disconnecting the phone call.

"So soon sir" replied Theo.

David threw his body on the seat of his greatness. He rubbed his head that didn't hurt. Today was very difficult for him. Black Meadow and Arnold Benjamins are two very dangerous camps.

Brayan's words rang in David's head. The young man was right. At any rate, he must make up with his beloved wife.

David stared at the watch that circled his right wrist. He looked at the time that was currently showing at eleven o'clock in the evening. Usually at this hour, Elaina is fast asleep. David chose to get out of his great chair and step out into the master room.
