Chapters 12. Talent of Elaina

His once overcast mood now changed very quickly. David is like hitting a jackpot with a single spin. His body now felt more relaxed after passing through the tension.

He looked at the clock on his right wrist. Time has shown at five o'clock in the afternoon. Without him realizing it, his meeting with Brayan this afternoon lasted quite a long time and was very time-consuming.

David immediately got up from the chair. He immediately stepped his feet towards the dining room. He just realized he had passed his lunch by accident.

The dining table looks empty without any food. Only a basket of fruit perched there. It just so happened that Griffin's butler was walking towards the dining room from the kitchen.

"Sir Griffin," call David.

He felt himself called. He immediately turned his body towards the source of the sound.

"Yes sir," he replied politely as he lowered his head slightly.

"Have you prepared a menu for dinner?" ask David.

"They are preparing it, sir," replied Mr. Griffin.

"Is the dinner schedule expedited now?" ask David.

"According to your request, sir," replied Mr. Griffin as he turned back his feet a few steps and turned towards the kitchen to tell the maids to prepare dinner for their master immediately.

Waiting for the food to be ready. David took a Fuji apple and ate it without peeling the skin first. He got out of the dining chair. He moved both of his legs towards the back garden. He walked while eating an apple in his right hand.

The afternoon weather was very friendly. The breeze from the trees relaxes the mind and body. David dropped his body on a park chair not far from where he was standing.

David is enjoying the afternoon. He looked around the backyard of the mansion. The look in his eyes caught a figure that was already very familiar to both of his eyes.

"What's the girl here for?" david asked himself. He got up from his seat, and walked closer to that figure.

Elaina looks like she's crouching. Both of his hands were busy taking care of something. A light screech sounded from her tiny mouth.

David approached Elaina slowly. He wanted to see what the girl was doing while the other maids were busy preparing her dinner. He's just being engrossed here alone.

David stood right behind Elaina. The girl was still unaware of David's presence. Then squatted behind the girl. David's tall body made it very easy to see what Elaina was doing. The girl was healing a bird. One of the wings of the bird was injured.

Elaina slowly rubbed the injured bird's wings. He does it while singing. Sometimes he blows his wounded wing. The bird's wound was severe enough for the bird category.

Not long after, the bird's head that had drooped now stood upright. Looks like the pain from the wound on his wing disappeared. Sure enough, the wound on the bird's wing slowly disappeared. If only he could not remember the story of natural talent, perhaps he had already run to see what Elaina had done.

The little bird began to stand on its own. He started to flap both wings. His injured wing is now healed. He looks very happy. The chirping was very noisy and non-stop. The bird seemed to thank Elaina. Elaina grabbed the little bird with both hands. He helped her to fly back to her mother.

David was very surprised to see a bird that had looked in pain, now fully healed. She flies so beautifully. Instantly, David recalled Brayan's surprised expression upon hearing her remark that Elaina's body could float in the air for a meter.

The Black Meadow Clan. The next sentence he remembered. He doesn't want to lose his chance to take revenge for the deaths of himself, Uncle Jeff, and Theo.

David immediately pulled Elaina's arm. He dragged her into the mansion. Right now that she knew, Elaina had two talents. Either there will be or there will be other talents.

"Aaa .. lord. Why am I being pulled?" ask Elaina. His legs were dragged and tripped several times.

Unknowingly, David pulls Elaina into his room. He closed the door and locked it. Elaina who got such treatment from her master felt very confused.

"Sir, did I make a mistake?" elaina asked nervously.

He did not dare to look at his master. He clasped both hands in front while bowing his head.

"Very! Your mistake was fatal!" furious David.

He walked back and forth while holding his head with his right hand. His left hand is on his waist. Elaina immediately calmed down and hugged both of her master's legs.

"I beg you sir, don't fire me. Have mercy on me, sir! Hiks ..." ask Elaina while crying.

David's body was a little unsteady because both of his legs were embraced by Elaina all of a sudden. Fortunately, his body balance was excellent. Otherwise, he would have fallen on Elaina's body under her feet by now.

"Now you go back to your room! Replace your maid uniform with your own!" david's orders.

"Generic ... I'm mo-hon sir, don't fire me!" elaina's crying is getting louder.

David felt his eardrum would be torn if the girl continued to cry this loud.

"I'm going to tell you to change your clothes" explained David.

"Stand up!" david's orders.

"Ta-pi sir, hiks," whined Elaina.

"Or you want me to divulge your little secret!" threaten David.

Her threat managed to make Elaina shocked and speechless. He had forgotten that he was treating a bird whose wings were wounded. After that, all of a sudden he was pulled by master David. Then his master saw what he had just done. His master had seen his strength which he had been hiding all along.

Glug

Elaina painstakingly swallowed her saliva. He could not think of a way to explain to his master that. It was impossible if he lied that it was just his master's delusion. It could be that his master saw from the beginning to the end of the bird's healing process.

"You want to change now or I'll change your clothes for mine?" ask David.

David's question managed to make Elaina aware of her daydream. He immediately ran towards the door to immediately return to his room. Not only his room, but the room is also filled by three maids in each room.

"Wait!" david's orders.

"I-yes sir," replied Elaina as she turned her body to face David.

"Come back here as soon as you change your clothes!" david's orders.

Elaina was surprised to hear her master's orders. What his master wanted made him have to change his clothes and go back to his room again.
