The 336 Hours
Chapters 1. David Walker
Heavy rain is pouring through Dallas. It is rare for people to drive in this weather. The road will be very slippery, let alone have to pass some twists.
David drove his car very carefully. He didn't want to be one of the victims of a single accident in this weather. Time shows at 19:45. He just got a call from Theo, one of his company employees.

He immediately grabbed the phone and pressed the employee room code. He asks Theo to meet him immediately in the CEO's room. David hung up the phone, and turned his chair to the window.
The view of Dallas at night is beautiful. David felt comfortable when he saw the lights from skyscrapers, lights along the road, and the light from passing cars.
He recorded all the scenes as if he would never see again the atmosphere of the night in the city of Dallas.

The knock on the door of the room made him realize the pleasure of the night view of the city of Dallas. David pressed the button under the workbench. The button is on the left of his left hand.

"Thank you, sir. I'm not going to beat around the bush" Theo said as he opened his laptop and turned it on. He typed a few letters on top of the keyboard, and after succeeding he turned the laptop screen over so that his boss could look at the monitor screen.
Theo's right. It's more than disturbing the night. David frowned. He tried to resist what his senses saw. However, the figure he trusted so far was indeed in the CCTV camera capture.
David clenched both his hands. He also kicked the table because of the emotions that began to peak. The figure was none other than his uncle, the cousin sister of his mother.
"What else do you have?" ask David.
David took the file handed to him. He opened the file sheet, and managed to make it go up.
A file contains if the company he had worked so hard to rebuild from bankruptcy, now changed its name to belong to his uncle.
"How can this be?" ask David.
"Actually I've long suspected Mr. Arnold. But you don't trust me, sir" Theo said.
David was silent when he heard Theo's words. What Theo said was right. The man had wanted to tell him many times about his uncle's actions. But David never listened to him.
He thought that Theo just wanted to look for him. And he hated such a thing. But this time all the evidence presented and given by Theo is a very strong slap for him.
"Gather all the evidence! Call Carl's lawyer to deal with this!" david's orders.
"Hmm, sorry sir. Carl's lawyers are their allies" Theo said.
"What?" david asked in disbelief.
"That's why they're so easy to reverse the name of the owner of the company" Theo explained.
David's hands rubbed his face. With a one-handed movement, he rewinded the work chair he was sitting on with a single move. He's trying to find a way out.

David gasped to hear the door of his study open. As he remembered, that door would not be easily used by anyone other than himself.
"Well, well, well," said a man who entered David's study clapping.
In addition to him, there were some people behind him who also entered the workspace David.
"Take all the evidence! And finish off that stupid employee!" arnold's orders to his man.
"And you! My stupid niece, get out of this room now!" arnold's orders were harsh.
"This is my work space!" david did not want to lose.

David was eager to reply to old Arnold's words. But the intention was broken. However, his uncle was right now.
David got up from his big chair, and slowly stepped out of the study.
"Wait on! Bring along your sign!" arnold orders while throwing David's signboard on the table.

The sound of wood touching the marble floor is not so strong. The nameplate just lay on the surface of the floor. David picked up the sign on the floor by bending his body slightly.

A fist from the left side hit his left rib. David staggered to the side. He tried to maintain his position, but he was immediately rewarded with some very convincing blows.

Arnold coded the bodyguard to loosen David's arm grip. He smiled cunningly and while saying, "That's because ..."
