After releasing his thirst. Brayan went on to tell me back about Elaina.
"Just seven months old, her aunt Elinor gave birth to Elaina. Bishop who heard the news about Elinor giving birth, immediately ran out of the mansion. He didn't care about the bodyguards trying to restrain him. Either he got the strength from which he could defeat his entire mansion bodyguard. Though all this time he had never trained his strength."
David listened to Brayan's explanation carefully. He did not want his time wasted. He had to listen to Elaina's whole story. Not one bit less.
"Nobody from the Cruise family has any talent. Just Bishop. He was considered a freak by his entire family. To that end, he had never trained the strength of his natural talent. His talent is very unique. He is a shield. A person who has a shield talent can protect those around him. Roughly half of Dallas, Texas."
"Why Dallas?" ask David.
"I'm not done, sir!" brayan.
David went back to silence and fixed his sitting position.
"His father made it out of the mansion. He immediately headed to the Elinor family home. Bishop meets Elinor and her daughter. He also gave his little daughter a name. A very beautiful name. Elaine. Which means bright light. She hopes her daughter can give light to both her parents. Their happiness does not last long. Cruise's family soon separated them back. At about the same time, our family was attacked by the Black Meadow clan. In short, at the time of the attack Elinor's aunt died. He protects Elaina from attack. Then with great difficulty both of my parents managed to save us all including Elaina." explained Brayan.
"And that was the first time my talent came into being. I had my first teleportation when I was five. You can imagine a toddler can do that kind of thing. It was a tremendous fear that pushed me to do something. I was thinking of a place I always wanted to go. Indoneszian. Dad always told me about the beauty of the country so it made me very curious. Finally the place that became my main and first teleportation destination was Bali."
Brayan sipped his drink again while looking at David. David doesn't look flabbergasted.
"I brought my parents, my three sisters, and little baby Elaina. Since then, we have been living on the island of Bali. The Black Meadow Clan did not stop there. They keep chasing us. The last remnant of the Winter family's pure talent. Finally, before they found us, both of my parents took us on a life-changing journey. When Elaina was two years old, our family almost caught the Black Meadow clan. Father decided to live separately in the interior of the island of Borneo. Elaina was given to a couple who had no children to adopt for a long time. Brigita and I lived with my mother and twins Bricia and Bree lived with my father" Brayan explained at length.
Brayan advanced his body forward. Looked at David.
"Why Dallas? Because Dallas is the hometown of Elaina and our origin. One thing is certain. Elaina doesn't know who we are. She had absolutely no idea that she had another cousin other than her two orphaned sisters. Maybe even Elaina is still not aware if she has a natural talent. Ah, or maybe more. Like me!" Brayan.
"You're sure he doesn't know?" ask David full of questions.
Brayan nodded his head confidently.
"Alright," said David, leaning his back against the chair. He relaxed his tense body muscles from earlier.
"When I came home earlier, I accidentally saw Elaina training her talent. He was floating in the air about a meter from the ground" David explained casually.
David's explanation managed to make both of Brayan's eyes glare. Both of his eyeballs almost came out of his shell.
"You're serious?" ask Brayan. He was trying to find a lie there. His heart was disappointed when it did not find the lie in David's eyes.
"You think!" hatch David.
"Aah ..." cried Brayan frustratedly as he threw his back against the back of the chair. Both of his hands were holding onto his suddenly throbbing head. How could he be disappointed in that. All this time he had been watching Elaina from afar.
"Look! I don't want to know anymore. You need to focus on watching and looking after Elaina!" brayan's orders were firmly with David.
"If you don't want to?" challenge David.
"No problem. I will gladly return you to your rigid body," Brayan replied softly while displaying his sly smile.
David clenched his right hand tightly. He tried to hold back his emotions. How could his life now be in the hands of a man sitting before him.
"Deal!" brayan shouted while extending his right hand.
"Deal," David replies, replying to Brayan's hand. With a heavy heart he had to agree to the deal.
"OKs. It's all clear. I'm going home now," Brayan said as he stood up and prepared to teleport him.
"Wait!" exclaim David.
"What else?" brayan panted as he turned his body to face David.
"Is the Balck Meadow clan here?" ask David.
"Yet. But one day it will be here" replied Brayan.
Silence came back to them. David was drowning with his own thoughts. Brayan prepares to teleport him. He wanted to get out of there right away before David came up with any more questions.
Wuss ...
A gust of wind hit David's face as Brayan teleported. At least it's better than coming up with a run.
David repeats all of Brayan's explanations. He's trying to connect the common thread with everything. The more thought makes his head hurt. He thinks it's easier to take care of the company's problems than this.
Now he seems to have a new profession. Becoming a baby sitter. Still good at being a nanny to your own niece. What must be maintained is one of the services in his own mansion. What would the world say if it knew this. A young, handsome CEO, in love with many women becomes a baby sitter for his own maid.
Reincarnation makes it a little difficult. At first he thought it would be easy to live this second life. It turns out there is a price to pay. A price that affects his life in the future.
"The future" said David, grunting in disbelief at his own words.
"Wait!" shouted David. He just realized something.
"I wasn't reincarnated 336 hours earlier. What if I've passed that time? One day after that includes the future, right? No, one hour after 336 hours is including the future. It means I'll be free if I get through that time. Bingo!" David said to himself in a loud voice. Fortunately, he locked the door to his office.
"If I were in the future, Brayan would never have returned me in the previous 336 hours. He might not make the same mistake. Changing just a little bit of history will affect everything" David said triumphantly.
