Chapter 56. Two Enemies at a Time
David's phone is shaking. He put the cell phone on the table. The tremors managed to wake David up. The athletic man fell asleep at the desk. David immediately answered the incoming call without looking at the phone screen.
"Sorry sir" said Theo.
"What's wrong?" david asked as he gently massaged both eyes.
"Mr Arnold and his son have arrived in Indonesia" Theo said firmly.
"What's? It's not like you said about half a day they're coming to this country!" exclaim David.
"Master. They've been manipulating the data" Theo explained.
David was angry. He's upset with himself. How could he forget Arnold's cunning. He should have asked Theo to check the flight schedules of the Benjamins family jet.
"Where are they?" david asked as he massaged his dizzy head.
"They're on their way to the apartment. It looks like they won't be visiting you for the next few days" Theo replied.
"Son lord Arnold is still in a state of master jet lag," Theo chimed in.
"Theo, get everything ready! I don't want them touching my mansion and meeting Elaina!" david's orders.
"Good sir. Sorry for interrupting your rest, sir" Theo said.
"It's ok," David replied, cutting off his phone.
"May they come together!" david told himself.
David stared at the clock on his desk. Time shows at three in the morning. There are still about three hours left for breakfast. He had to have breakfast early so as not to meet Elaina for a while for very vague reasons. In fact, the reason he himself did not know.
David decided to take a break. He did not want to damage his own body. To take care of Elaina, she must have enough manpower. In the next three days, he would lock himself up in the study.
In addition, he could ask Mr. Griffin to bring lunch and dinner to the study. The athletic man also decided to do light exercise to strengthen his body.
Three days. Wait for me after three days, ok. David said in his heart.
Two days later.
Elaina was feeling very agitated. From earlier his work was just pacing indistinctly in the room. It's been two nights that David didn't visit him at midnight. He also did not find David at breakfast, lunch, even dinner. At least she can see her husband while eating.

"Patience baby! Just one more day" said David quietly from behind the scenes of the cctv camera.
"Hey, Brayan! How's it?" david asked after he finished looking at Elaina.
"They slowly disappeared. I think they almost finished all the mansions around here to look for Elaina" Brayan replied.
"I hope they can finish it soon. After this, what else to do?" ask David.
"Of course train Elaina," Brayan replied while playing an online game on his mobile phone.
"Should it be that fast?" david asked briefly.
"Faster is better. When you're done, you can give us a nephew" Brayan replied with a chuckle. "Girls B can't wait to become aunts" Brayan soon chimed in on his own words.
"Argh! Your words made me lose," Brayan grumbled as he placed the phone on the table violently.
David smiled cunningly as he looked at Brayan.
"You know! You are very good at getting close to problems" said Brayan, opening a canned drink.
"You mean?" ask David.
"Two enemies come at a time. You should have been briefed on that" replied Brayan.
"I can't imagine if they're working together" Brayan chimed in.
Brayan's words are right. The Back Meadow clan and the old Arnold both have the same goal of hurting Elaina. It does not rule out the possibility if they can meet and cooperate with each other.

The next day, Elaina was already not as agitated as the previous two nights. Tonight he stood on the balcony. The girl completely forgot if she had ever stood on the balcony then was attacked by something invisible.
Elaina's eyes were empty. The silence he felt was clearly very much different from his now empty mood. David walked over to Elaina slowly. She did not want to make her woman surprised which ended in Elaina's shock.
David put his hands around Elaina's waist. He was talking about something he thought was very romantic.
"I'm sorry baby" whispered David.
Elaina who got a sudden romantic attack couldn't react more. He wanted to avoid it but David's body managed to lock his body.
Elaina is shocked to find David back in their room. Three days he was looking for David. She misses her husband very much.
"You've got a lot of mistakes, Dave!" elaina exclaimed while looking straight ahead.
"It is with great pleasure that I will make it up to you, * David replied.
"How do you get to forgive me?" ask Elaina.
"I don't need a way to apologize from you" David replied.
"Compense! Hiks," said Elaina managed to make her own tears spill.
David hugged the body of his wife who he missed so much from behind. Not just Elaina. David's tears spill because he can get back his true love. They cry in arms.
"I love you forever" whispered David after a while they cried each other.
"I love you, Dave! I'm sorry, I doubted you" said Elaina.
"It's ok baby. I know you need time to digest everything" David said, turning Elaina's body upside down.
Both of their eyes collided with each other. David gently stroked Elaina's right cheek with his right hand. After that, she kissed Elaina softly. A warm but deep kiss.
"Everything will be fine" David said, hugging Elaina's body.
Elaina was crying that night. He gave up all his yearning for David.
